ok so i need to change my redmi note 3 pro from RUIM to NV!!!
so i do : unlock, root, in DFS CDMA tool change RuimOnly to NVonly, after reboot phone back to RuimOnly

Have you applied for permissions from Mi Website?

After you apply you must wait at least 2-3 days(up to two weeks) for your account to get permissions. To find out if you have permissions simply download the Miflash unlock tool from the Mi website, enter with your account(the same you use to your phone for the Mi services) and the program will let you see if you have permissions to unlock the bootloader. If so, simply click the unlock button. The process will take around 30-60 seconds. If the counter goes to 100% then you have successfully unlocked the bootloader. As for the root this video seemed to work for me:

PCBA test FAIL
MMI test FAIL
sensor test FAIL
audio test FAIL

Hello! I was trying to root my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but in attempt to unlock the device I have error: -1 and I can't find a solution for this. I have Mi account linked with Facebook and Google long time ago. As You can see i screenshots below USB debugging and unlocking OEM is enabled, Wi-Fi turned off but enabled SIM card transmission, I don't have any root app in my phone, what is the problem? Can there be an alternative method for unlocking bootloader and root Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, installing TRWP and custom ROM? Sorry but I can't give a screenshots because I'm newbie, more info about my phone

Hi everybody so my father has a redmi note 5, and i have encountered some problems so i decided to do a factory reset
Now i wont be able to see anything. On recovery and fastboot it display
Bootloader is locked so i can't use miflash
I tried unlocking but it says please add a miui account (i can't see anything so i can not do it)
Any solution?
