Dear Friends,
I am using Lenovo Z2 Pro K920.
I have to contact office people who are on travel. So mainly I communicate with them on SMS. I need to know the moment they get my SMS delivered on their Phone. I have switched ON the SMS Delivery Notification but there is no option to set any sound.
My question is, is there any Application you know which can make noise / sound of SMS Delivery Notification. ??
This is very really urgent as I have to keep checking phone every 30 seconds.
Best regards
Nitin

Hello all,
I have a problem. I'd like my phone to only vibrate when I receive calls, and nothing else. Text messages should not trigger the vibration, nor any incoming emails. Only when someone else calls me.
Right now, my phone has vibration COMPLETELY disabled, meaning that even when people call me, it doesn't vibrate.
How can I mess around with the settings such that calls trigger the vibration?
I'm using the stock rom, if it makes a difference. Thanks!
I have disabled the test message vibration, as i use Go sms pro and i have disabled the vibration in it...
so only for calls my phone vibrates.
and for email.. I dont check mails in my mobile usually.. so u can disable vibration in ur email client app too
Individually go to each app settings and disable the vibration
Be Kind everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
I never knew that you could individually change the application's vibration settings! That should do the trick.
I currently have the default Messenger App. What I've done , is go to Settings>>Notification Settings>>Select Ringtone>>Silent. I've left the notification under Settings>>Sound to "Vibrate to always", so hopefully that works?
And on a side note, what are the advantages (if any) of using Go SMS Pro over the stock SMS application, besides customizable themes?
Edit: Doing what I've described above does not give me the desired results. The phone still vibrates when text messages arrive.
Hello everyone
So, I've searched before submitting this post and I didn't find a recent enough thread providing a simple fix for my problem.
I have a very disturbing problem, when I shut down my phone and receive SMS while it's off, when I receive thoses SMS they won't be set at the time they were sent, but at the time I receive them ...
Let's say I turn off my phone at 8.00, a friend send me a text at 8.15, then I turn my phone back on at 8.30, the incoming SMS will show : sent at 8.30
This problem occurs in the stock SMS app but also in ChompSMS.
I'm running a rooted galaxy S4.
So far, I've found two solutions, but the first one isn't satisfiying at all since it will add the time in all my incoming messages.
Ex : my friend send me "Hello", and what will be displayed on my phone is : "Hello (sent at 8.15)"
The second one is this one http://www.xda-developers.com/android/sms-show-sent-time-for-galaxy-s-i9000/
But i'm not sure it will work on my device and not sure that's recommended either.
Can someone help me fixing this ?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english !
Hi
i have some issues with the mate 10 pro notifications. especially with whatsapp -
from time to time my phone starts the whatsapp incoming massage ringtone (or vibration if its on vibrate mode) and stops halfway through the tone - when i open my phone i see no notification whatsoever.
i came to understand that this happens when i receive whatsapp massages from group chats that are muted (with notifications set to 'do not show notifications') - not every massage from those groups does that but from time to time when its happening its because of those massages (sometime i can see a push notification from those muted chats that disappears quickly - its as if my phone forgets those chats should not give notifications and reminds that after its starting to vibrate and ring)
this is extremely annoying as im getting those vibrates or notification sound even though im not suppose to.
did someone else experienced that? and maybe succeeded fixing that?
bump
anyone?

I don't have a solution, but I have similar issues with WhatsApp notifications. Usually I don't get the LED flashing, but I do see a notification when the phone is unlocked. Occasionally, I get no LED and no notification when the phone is unlocked. These phones have great hardware but rubbish software
Not a Huawei specific issue, had the same bull**** with WhatsApp on both the A8 and the Pixel 2 XL. Was OK on the Mate 10 and S9+.
I assumed it was a Huawei issue, as it's worked perfectly on every other phone that I and my wife have owned. The Huawei software has a habit of killing background processes, even when you tell it not to, so it seemed a reasonable assumption.
Hello everyone, for personal reasons I always have silent mode on my phone and getting any notification on my Pace.
Maybe anyone have some idea how to make notification about incoming call in VoIP applications like Viber or telegram or messenger,
Also have seen some stuff like notify app which can send information about missed calls in VOIP apps but I want to have like stock application for mobile calls.
Sorry if missed the answer in any other thread
Hello. I was a 10+ years Samsung user and now I switched to Mate 20 pro. I use my phone for work, daily I talk at least 4 hours on my phone, constantly making and receiving calls from numbers not saved in my contacts.
Samsung had great features in its Dialer app (which is part of the Contacts app) - when I got a call, in the incoming call screen when the phone rang it showed "caller information" as Samsung calls it. Basically it is communication history preview, e.g. someone calls me to whom I wrote an SMS 30 days ago. On the incoming call screen when that person calls, last communication will be also previewed, in this case an SMS. If the last communication was a phonecall, it will show date and time of that last call. And for my work that was extremely helpful.
Other thing was incoming caller location - say some client from Frankfurt in Germany calls, from a number that is not saved in my contacts, Samsung would say "Frankfurt, Germany". With that information I could at least assume which client called me, based on the city from which the call came.
Now I tried google phone, it shows the city name and that is good, but there is no option for last communication history when I receive a phone call.
Can someone help me how to port the Samsung Contact app to my Mate 20 pro (which is not rooted)? I got the samsung contacts apk file from sammobile.com, but the phone just says "not installed". Please help.
You can't as it heavily relies on their (Samsung) framework.

Are there any alternatives that can provide such features?
I imagine its tied to One UI
