Hi friends,
I injected Genisys UX5.0 theme apps into H818P Marshmallow 6.0 V20e-ESA-XX.
There is no root because of the security measure (seLinux) enabled on android 6.0. Please read this. Only way to disable this feature is to unlock the bootloader.
Announcement:
As I have moved to another device the mod will no longer be updated. I have uploaded the misc. files for developers who want to continue on my development (see attached images). If you like my work so far please don't forget to click thanks. Thanks for your supports guys.

Prerequisite:
Install all required LGG4 drivers http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G4/LGUnitedMobile_Win_Driver_Ver_3.14.1.exe
LGUP + DLL patch => https://mega.nz/#!ctcTDQ7A!rE-EHRiyQcK4-SQRGI1b0QpiLn-_ntRL-pz40X4DUco
LG root tools => https://mega.nz/#!gwlTnRaD!TaoDuDzhNM4eTr2efpWbYl7nMPcTUuRrdWSmhC4IqW0
Installation Method 1: TOT
- Open LGUP flash the base KDZ with the 'Refurbish' option
- Then re-flash again using the TOT file with the 'Upgrade' option
- If you want to backup data after the bootloop, flash the TOT first to boot your device up and backup your stuff.
- If you update the new mod on the same base just only flash the TOT file, no need to re-flash the KDZ again
If your device is bootloop, enter download mode before flash it with the LGUP
watch video here => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cbLhpWq5C8
Installation Method 2: IMG (Thai Guide HERE)
For video please refer to original thread for H815 started by @the_naxhoo here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/orig-development/bl-lock-ul-android-6-0-marshmallow-t3459260
Step-by-step instructions for method 2:

In this case, just let it finish and start again don't pull the cable or your may hard brick your phone).

The # will appear at your command prompt
Type command #PRINT (IT WILL NOT RESPONSE HERE, DONT BE PANIC!)
Stop the program by Cltr+C
Start Send_Command.exe \\.\COMX again
When # appears ,type command #id (if it is successful you should see text starting with "uid=(0)root gid=(0)root" )
Copy and paste this text into the command # dd if=/data/media/0/system.img bs=8192 seek=55296 count=529920 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0 (experimental version change system.img -> system1.img )
Press enter and it will work for few minutes then the command # will appear again
Type command #LEAVE to exit the program

The exact SOT from 100 - 0 is not recorded.
I am testing it on the 2nd date. Not much drain so far. It is better than stock v20c I think.
Screen off time is quit well (1-2 % overnight).
(I disabled the fast dormancy)

Regarding the heat, I had used CTT mod when I was using CamUIX 5.1 alpha mod.
The heat is similar, not notable high temperature.
I am currently testing its heat result, if there is a heat issue I will add CTT mod into this rom too.
However, I don't play games nor using much video recording just surf the internet, youtube, email and messaging. I did not find any heat issue.

Mainly tuned in term of heat and performance (higher bench scores), and battery as well. However, on the non-root system, the battery diagnosis is limited. You may stop at the version you satisfied. If you like to join the development please update it and report the result.
You can feel free to try this version because you don't need to install the whole new firmware. All you need is just copying system1.img into you internal storage and using lgup in UPGRADEmode to start flashing it with Send_Command. Thus all your apps and setting should be fine.

Install Guide:
Important for v2.0 : many thanks for @ RenegadeX44 for the feedback:
CWM is not reading uppercase and you have to change it.
To do so you have to mount your SD card, enter the folder, press ALT and get the bar in Windows (some options) and then press Tools > Folder Options.
Then, press View tab and find an option that says: "Hide extension for known file types" and UNCHECK it.
Then change the extension of the ROM file to lowercase (.zip) and you will be able to mount it.
Copy the ROM to your SD Card
Reboot to CWM
Make a backup of your current system
Make a Factory Reset
Install the ROM
Wipe Cache & Dalvik
IMPORTANT: When installing v2.0, you have to install Chainfire's SuperSU .zip file to get proper root permissions, dowload link attached
Reboot your device [may take several minutes]
Enjoy!

- reboot just for fun
- profit
All these steps are valid for the P710 device with Purified Stock ROM v2.0(4.4.2 KitKat) (just pointing it out for the protocol).
If you are using another L7 II device and/or the v1.0 (4.1.2 JellyBean) ROM, the steps are the same BUT MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD GRAVITYBOX[JB]! There are 3 versions of GB respectively for JellyBean, KitKat and Lollipop!
App Settings works on everything above IceCream Sandwitch.
Any requests are welcome, though I'd like to keep this ROM close to stock with LG software.

Most definetly it will, though I don't know what's the difference between P710 and P713.
However, ROM's for P715 also work on P710/713, even these two has hardware differencies, so it should work on P713.
If you install it, and you find some bugs/not working features, please reply in this thread, so that I can appear these bugs in the OP. Thanks.
Great ROM thank you for what you've done, I would like to talk to you for a project if you like.

No screenshots to be provided, if you've read the OP, then you must have understand that this is based on stock ROM, with stock applications. Therefore it looks the same as stock. Logic does magic.
ROM is based on V10J Hungary, it has all basic european languages, russian, and so on.
No bugs were found upon testing, only those which also occur in the stock firmware.
Tested!!
Well it's like the name say... "Purified Stock" nothing more, nothing else... Some new things. But for who search a rom different them stock this not one of that roms... Anyway it's a cool rom better them original LG rom. More fast and smooth, no bugs at all (i search for 1 and i do see nothing)... You have all language (for who asked about)... Like the name say "Purified Stock". And stock rom it's ugly :silly:
Anyway nice job. :good: Now make kitkat rom :silly:

Yes, well that was my original goal, the first step for developing anything to this device, first to "purify" the stock rom. And well, yes, it's ugly, we've seen some better - like Sony UI - but there are some worse ones also
However, FYI, a small group of us are forming a dev team to port CM10 to P710, I myself would like to see some results in August yet, so when we'll get factory upgrade to KK, we can see clearly what we can, and than we could maybe port CM11 and so on.
Okay, I already tested it on my LG P713 and here's what I got:
It's stock based. And nothing were changed except the removal of some system apps, which makes me happy because more free space :laugh:
Also, it's already rooted. I've seen on the xbin folder there's already busybox and su so I didn't have to install it again, right?
I found no bugs so far, I changed the wallpaper and ringtones in Display and Sound Settings and it doesn't give FC
I think the only bug I've encountered is NFC. When I turned on the NFC it doesn't actually turn on the NFC, because P713 doesn't have it LOL:laugh:
Yeah, anything else pretty much the same. Smoother than stock, nice choice for using Now Browser, and finally ID3 Tag Editor inside the Music App. I think I'll stick to this ROM for a while
Keep up the good work @shiftyHungary , maybe add some SystemUI mods and CWM Recovery for this beauty

Hey,
Those are great news. I'm eager to see custom ROMS on P710. Anyway, I could help you as a tester for future.
I've been trying to compile my custom kernel, but with no luck. Whenever I put additional governors, Wi-Fi stops working. That is annoying as hell.

As far as I experienced, that's usual. In most cases, WiFi is the most vulnerable point of a kernel, usually that goes wrong, but the fact is that governors don't have anything to do with Wifi.

It has something to do with cfg80211.ko module, in fact. Whenever I don't touch anything within the kernel, EABI version which I
use for compiling doesn't matter, since Wi-Fi works as it should. But if I try to put more features, like governors, putting updates to it's build (was 3.4.4 at one time), Wi-Fi just like goes away, and I can't seem to do anything. Do logcats help somehow?
And I found one interesting "block" inside the kernel: if I try to mess around with CPU clocks inside, phone just doesn't boot anymore. Even if I unlock one additional clock, which was burried inside, just wasn't enabled, phone doesn't boot anymore or after succesful boot up it would freeze and restart. I'm guessing it has something to do with voltage supplies, because something odd is with proprietary lg board configurations.

Built-in Camera app stops working, when you mess up build.prop. At this point, you'll need to make a clean system install, otherwise Camera app will refuse to work (stupid approach, but that's the only way, because cleaning the app's data wouldn't work, anyway)
This may be a little problem, but does V10J firmware can't turn off the shutter sound via settings?
I was taking pictures and when I tried to set the shutter sound to 'None', I can't find it. Only Tone 1-4

Yes, that's true, shutter sound can't be turned off.
Maybe there'll be a next release with this and other things fixed.
I have flashed it yesterday. Though it feels somewhat smoother and more responsive than stock as the developer said it is simply purified stock, nothing more nothing less. I got 7459 antutu score by the way. Stock camera app works and because my phone is always in silent mode I haven't got this shutter sound.
Thanks! Waiting for new version!

CameraNext Flashable:
Flashable zip for the CameraNext AKA CyanogenMod Camera AKA OPO Camera
I have found this camera app to be fully functional (tested on AOSP 5.0.2 by Ivan and XenonHD by @audahadi) if you tweak the settings.
Tweaks:
-If you get a black screen or a static image with just camera controls visible, in settings set Viewfinder mode to 'Letterbox'
-If video recording FCs or don't get saved, try setting resolution for video to 720p or lower. (Note that video FCs may also be due to kernel issues especially in the newer source-built kernels)
Ivan's kernel (possible fix for call bug):
NOTE: This will fix mobile data, WiFi and video playback errors common in ROMs which have source-built kernel by flashing kernels from Ivan's AOSP builds and placing reqd lib files.
It should also eliminate the new screen off death (call bug v2), please report if you get call bug with Ivan's kernel.
BUGS:
-Stock FM Radio app doesn't work anymore (5.0.2 ONLY?). More files from Ivan's need to be transferred probably...
Note: @audahadi and @Bitti09 are working hard on the kernel sources. If you want to help them out then I'd suggest NOT flashing these on their CM12/12.1 builds...test their work and give proper feedback.

5.1 version up. Note that I haven't tested it.
But it uses the exact same script (just different file, from Ivan's 5.1 build) as the 5.0.2 one (which I've tested to be working) so it shouldn't screw up your phone. Just keep a backup first. Just in case.
If you do flash it, and everything works, please report.

In Settings>Privacy>Privacy Guard>Advanced, you can manage permissions for each app.
Find the ones which are keeping unnecessary wakelocks and uncheck the 'Keep Awake' and 'Wake up' permissions.
Note that disabling 'Wake up' for apps such as GMail/WhatsApp for example will prevent the app from waking up from time to time to sync hence delaying notifications.
PS. Your English is pretty good! :good:

Why you don't post alexkernel v3?
Hello! First of all, my english is not the best so ill try to do it quickly. Some of you may know, or maybe not, but on MIUI only 2 cores works by default, to get the 4 cores working you need to use the "Performance" profile on battery settings, so, you can fix this with any custom kernel, or now, you can flash this zip.
This will enable your 4 cores to being used when you need them without using the "Performance" profile, plus you will get some optimizations that i added so you will feel MIUI like you never done before. Well, lets go for it!
This fix works for MI 3 and MI 4
Things that fix do:
- Allows you to use the 4 core and not only 2
- Better multitasking(Follow recomendations steps)
- Stops some useless services
- Tweaks the VM for better performance
- Tune-up the Interactive Governor for battery without losing performance
Latest Version
Now there is two versions, one a bit focused on battery and the other on performance so, youre free to test and choose
Battery: http://www.mediafire.com/file/moidapk07hfwsch/FIX_Nasus_v15_Bat.zip
(Updated) Performance: http://www.mediafire.com/file/bmcuu3x1cxqma6k/FIX_Nasus_v15.4.zip
Note: If you are comming from any verson after 8.2 of the fix you can just flash the latest version without any problem. Or if its your first time flashing this just go for the latest version.
Apps to test this
CPU Float: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.waterdaaan.cpufloat
With this app you can see that by default MIUI only uses 2 cores and when the battery temperature gets kinda high(which is most of time) the frecuency locks at 1.19 ghz, with the fix the frecuency will step down the frec one by one so you wont feel the lag that hard and it wont overheat that easy as usually MIUI do.
Instalation:
Just flash it on TWRP, you dont need to wipe anything.
Recomendations:
Go to delevoper settings and turn off Memory Optimization so the fix will work perfect without any MIUI locks.
Turning off MIUI Optimizations its optional since it do not change anything to the fix, its just if you have problems with some apps, that will be because of the MIUI optimizations. Turning off this will also allow you to make your MIUI more like android stock in term of how apps works and how they dont get close and just get all permissions that they need, since you will be able to disable all MIUI permissions manager and battery saver.
Thats all! If you have any question just ask for it, ill answer ASAP!
Enjoy

Hello, thank you for this zip it works fine. Do you have any zip that removed or disables all useless Miui apps and services?
Currently testing your cpufix on my Mi3(cancro) running the latest stable MIUI8 china rom. Device feels snappier than before. I am loving it. But I observe no significant difference in terms of battery saving. Will continue to test for another 48-72 hours and post my conclusion. Thanks.
Update(this was released a few time ago, but i had no time to post it here). Cassiopeia v9.3
A few updates ago i just changed one of the files and now the 4 cores works kinda most of time, and btw, i did a few test and leaving the 4 cores on all time uses less battery than normal way to turn on and off the cores. Also did some changes for better performance without losing battery life. The file its on the OP.
Enjoy <3

When I read your first post again, it sounds like its fixing a flaw in MIUI. What if I am not using MIUI but other custom ROMs. Will this be useful? I used to be on Lineage OS 14.1. Recently I moved to AOSiP 6.2, both of which are buttery smooth. What's you think?
Introduction:
Hello everyone!
The idea to this 'project' did blossom after having an conversation with @pkgnex in the past about the general idea of creating something else that follows what he started with his PK's Tuning Script for Pixel 2 (XL) but with a twist, mainly as a complement to his own thread that you can find here, but also with a completely different vision and focus on what the script itself should achieve (and deliver) for kind of results for myself and for all of you personally, of course, that wants to try it out and use it as a "daily driver".
Shortly explained.
This script is created with the goal of improving both battery life and performance on our Pixel 3 (XL) devices, and after a whole range of configurations and various set-ups, I've come up with something that, in my eyes, is worth sharing with all of you so that you can try it out yourself and judge on your own, with constructive feedback on what can be improved or added in future releases - if desired. My philosophy is, and will always be, this:
If something can be improved or altered in a positive way so the average user can feel and see a difference, then go for it. Non stop.
The latest release can be found here.
Disclaimer:
This is presented as "what if". If this modification screws up or breaks anything for you, I am not the one to be held responsible. It's a free will to try out this kind of changes/modifications/addons/tweaks, just don't blame the inventors for eventual bad results and/or screw-ups.
Note: This script is not recommended to be modified or customized by the user.
Features:
Reduced battery consumption
Device specific enhancements for best possible balance between battery life & performance
Enabled, and fully configured, Boeffla generic kernel wakelock blocker
Disabled a lot of useless stuff at kernel level (Improves battery life as well as performance)
CPUSet improvements & optimizations
Schedtune tweaks (Improves responsivness)
Power efficiency enhancements
Wide IO block tuning (Reduces the possibility of hiccups, lags and overhead)
Possibly other miscellaneous things I've forgotten to write down here, both big and small.
Requirements/what you need for getting this script fully working:
An unlocked bootloader
Your own specific choice of kernel
Latest possible version of Magisk
Busybox for Android NDK Magisk Module by @osm0sis
Patience
Installation/How-To use & abuse:
1) Download the attached ZIP
2) Extract the script
3) Move the script to the following location;
/data/adb/service.d and give it the following & needed file permissions (0755)
4) Reboot your phone, let Android boot to the launcher and let Magisk boot service do its crucial magic (takes a few seconds before the scripts is fully up and running around behind the scenes)
5) Enjoy!
Note: If you still are unsure how to do for making my kernel configuration / modification work & be up and running behind the scenes, then please read @Phalanx7621 phenomenal guide here or check out @Phalanx7621in-depth video here. The installation method is the same for all generations of released Pixels!

Update!
Note: Don't forget make a folder named "logs" at the root of your internal storage before applying version 1.0.
Version 1.0 (Initial release):
- Initial release!
- Copied over a huge amount of various enhancements from BlackenedMod for Wahoo (Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL) + tuned a couple "crucial" Pixel 3 (XL) specific easter eggs
- Blocked a few safe-to-fully-purge kernel wakelocks for slightly improved battery life during idle / deep sleep
- Fully enabled and adjusted all of the Schedutil hispeed based / specific tunables for both of the clusters with the intention of keeping the phone both smooth and snappy while maximizing overall battery life as far as possible
- Included, but commented out, so you can enable power efficient workqueues on-the-fly directly within the script
- Some very additional minor & miscellaneous enhancements and adjustments both here and there
Enjoy!
Magisk manager app keeps stopping while checking for updates after installing script. Is this expected?
Edit, after a reboot magisk is back to normal. I'll keep an eye on this to see if I can repeat it and maybe capture a logcat.

Have been using it for the past few days. Definitely notice better battery life through the blocking of wakelocks. Haven't noticed any difference in performance so seems to be worth running. No issues with stability at all either. Great work!
Can this be run along side naptime ? Also layman question: is this similar to naptime?
Edit: Ok I tried it on Pixel 3 with Elemental X kernal and I'm stuck on the white boot screen with google logo...Any idea ?
I had your script running along side Magisk v18 Stable on Bootleggers Ver. 4 and noticed Viper4Android wouldn't load correctly. It was showing in the Magisk logs but not showing in my app drawer. Per the link below I noticed the last think to load was your script so I deleted it and rebooted. Viper then worked and I was able to reproduce the issue by adding back the script and once again fix it by deleting the script. I really love your script and would like to use it but, Viper is a must for me. Are there any lines in the script that could be deleted or altered for Viper4Android to load correctly via Magisk?

I can only change system files using twrp
@hooooossamq I had some problems due to my phone being another model (SM-A205G), luckily I had a backup from the original file to restore. In this case I cannot vote =)

Why you can't change els system?
I make the vote to know if its work with all galaxy a20 .and if any one have any idea and edite the numbers of this build.prop file to make it better it will be great.but must be tested by the editor before sharing it here.
good luck for all...
@hooooossamq I got a bootloop for the first time I installed and then I restored the original build.prop and that didn't solve the problem, in the end I have to flash the whole firmware again. It's not your fault though. I guess the problem was caused by our phones being different, my bootloader is 5, yours is 6, my model is SM-A205G and yours is the F variant

better performance build.prop method for Q here if any one want it .
till now i got the best codes for best performance and a good battery backup :good: and still testing
edit: the stock Q was good performance fast but a little laggy some time but the battery was draining so fast.so i change the codes many time and testing till i got the best

# {Coming soon for android Q}.
#This is for android Pie..
After reading many topics abut the build.prop file and abut the VM and after many testing. finally i got somthing usefull in performance and battery friendly :fingers-crossed:.
Tested on s6 update and i think it will work with all update.the build.prop attached down here.
# how to:
- unzip the file and open the build.prop with any text editor.
- select all the text and copy.
- use mix explorer and go to system\vendor.
- open system\vendor\build.prop.
- select all text. Delete.
- now after that past what you copy before.
- press save. Then reboot to recovery.
- go to wipe..advanced wipe..and wipe both cach.
- reboot to system.
Post your results after testing:good:
Edit: some people get a problem when copy the all text in rhe bulid.prop file because the diffrent of the model and update.so i will post only the change i made in the codes as the following:
Open system\vendor\build.prop
..and change the codes like this
dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit=160m
dalvik.vm.heapsize=512m
dalvik.vm.heaptargetutilization=0.625
Then scroll down and change like this
ro.config.dha_cached_min=2
ro.config.dha_cached_max=5
ro.config.dha_empty_min=4
ro.config.dha_empty_init=8
ro.config.dha_empty_max=15
ro.cfg.dha_cached_min=6
ro.cfg.dha_cached_max=15
ro.cfg.dha_empty_min=4
ro.cfg.dha_empty_init=17
ro.cfg.dha_empty_max=24
Thats it...now press save. Then reboot to recovery.
- go to wipe..advanced wipe..and wipe both cach.
- reboot to system.
Post the results please.good luck
