Hello
How can this handset area of PLK-L01 C185B370 to C432B370 I change? (Detailed guide)
What is the only 4g code? Thanks
Not detailed but I'll tell you what to do:
- Unlock your bootloader
- Install TWRP
- Root your phone
- Debrand via Multi-tool
- Install a full rom you want
That's it. You have to move step by step, it's easy.
Like mehmt said, but there are some detailed tutos, just follow the steps

Hi,
I've been going through the following rooting guide for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi only.
[ACS] [How to] Root, Clockworkmod, Flash Roms, Unroot, Tips (11 videos) 3/14/12
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1462961
I've successfully proceeded through the guide up until I need to utilise the CWM-based Recovery tool v5.5.0.4.
When the CWM-based Recovery tool loads my screen continually scrolls down so the menu is blurred out.
From my research & querying the forum I found a related comment. This can be found from the rooting guide thread linked above - page 3 from a member called bugs9477. He states that he also had a scrolling screen & believes there is a compatibility problem for some versions of the tab.
As I've a novice to Android tweaking on this tab I'm not willing to continue until preferably qbking77 responds or an experienced forum member advises me on how to proceed forward from my problem.
I currently have a model number GT-P7510. If you require further information regarding my specific tab please ask.
Thanks in advance.
Just follow bugs9477 guide
Thanks MapleSyrup.
I followed the guide from bugs9477 & downloaded ClockworkMod_Recovery_v5.5.0.4_P75xx.tar.
http://www.teamovercome.net/p7500/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=15
I'm not sure how to uterlise this file when using qbking77 guide [ACS] [How to] Root, Clockworkmod, Flash Roms, Unroot, Tips (11 videos) 3/14/12.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1462961
The file used with qbking77's guide is called recovery.tar.md5 & bugs9477's is called ClockworkMod_Recovery_v5.5.0.4_P75xx when untared.
Can I use the untared file with Odin?
You don't need to untar the file.
I'm not sure if you're following the guide step by step.
Don't mix bugs9477's guide with S0ckM0nk3y's guide. First do what bugs9477 says and be sure that you are in stock again, then follow S0ckM0nk3y's instructions and check that cwm is working fine.
Thanks MapleSyrup. I wasn't sure if I had to go through the step of unrooting the device first. But once I did that & then went through the rooting process it worked.
Thanks for taking your time to assist me. Cheers.
Sorry to be a pain - one last question.
Do I need to keep the Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_10.1_root archive file on the SD Card after successfully completing the rooting process?

No, you can delete it.
Hello all,
Im after purchasing a Z5c but before i do i was wanting to know a few things. Im coming from a samsung device which i find so simple to flash. The Z5c will probably be running MM.
I will be wanting to root the device and run xposed from the moment i get it. If i follow this guide:- https://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/general/guide-how-to-root-z5c-painful-using-t3549388
Is this the best guide to use for a sony noob?
1. Will i still be running the stock sony firmware (inc kernal)?
2. All aspects of phone working (finger print, BionZ, x-reality engine, camera de-noise etc)
3. A custom recovery.
Thanks In advanced
OK, so i went for it any way after a lot more reading and hitting problems along the way. So i'll update this with what ive learnt. I did use the guide i've linked above.
I had to downgrade so went through the downgrade instructions and then followed the guide.
At Step 1 - Backup the TA partition, it took me three tries for it to work & a reboot after the first try, only hint i can give is just to try it a few times as is mentioned in the guide.
At Step 2 - Unlock the boot loader I had an issue with the command. The -i command was not recognised in the latest version of platformtools. I had to use a previous version (will update this post with a link).
At Step 6 - Patch the kernel. (1) I had a few issues. superuser.zip was not properly intergrated so i had to flash the zip in recovery after finishing the rest of the guide. (2) I believe the integrated TWRP has issues with backup (ref) so either skip it and flash this version or add it, its up to you. If you do add it and encounter an error similar to this " Skipping TWRP recovery. No kernel modules for 3.10.84-perf-XXXXXXX available" follow this guide.
I skipped putting xposed in the kernel and just flashed the zip via recovery & installed the installer all from the official xposed page after everything was setup.
Thanks for reporting your experiences. I have had my Z5C for a month now. I am wanting to root it, so your experiences are helpful and encouraging.
Does the camera continue to work? I do not want to lose the camera.
Keep on reporting please!
You wont lose the camera, every stock-based custom kernel here has a DRM fix to emulate the keys if they are not found.
Hey you!
I am a complete newbie in the world of root, flash, recovery and all the other things - shoot me. But I promise to change. Having only very few apps and the need to move every 5 pictures taken off my phone is something that keeps bugging me. I can't stand the stock Android's space limitations anymore.
Since two days, I keep trying to install Lineage Os but I can't make it beyond initial steps. Often, I feel like having very basic questions but no one I can turn to. And at other times, when I go back to step one, I feel like I've missed the steps that I've tried before.
Therefore, this thread serves as place to ask questions to you (the expert) and serves as installation guide for myself and other beginners. The documentation of my process - and where I am currently are - will be in this starting post, questions I'll be asking within the threads following posts.
My details
Phone: LG G2 mini (D620r)
Software plattform: Android 5.0.2
Software version: V20b-EUR-XX
The general installation guide I use for reference: XDA Forums - Everything g2m
The installation guide I use: Lineage Os Wiki - Install on g2m
31.01.2018 - Step 1: Basic requirements - setting up ADB
This was explained pretty well. However, I can't verify if my device is able to make use of fastboot. Shouldn't be a problem I hope.
31.01.2018 - Step 2: Rooting your device
The guide links to another guide ( XDA Forums - Root for G2 mini - All versions ). In it, the poster offers a King Root version but suggests at the same time to check their website (of king root) for updates). To install King Root, I opened the website on my phone's browser, downloaded, installed and run their .apk. This worked, my phone is now rooted.
Question
Question:
The linked root guide (see here ) gives optional steps to install SuperSu via a MRW folder and a script that uninstalles KingRoot again.
Reason could be that this will unlock my bootloader (no idea if thats true) and I might need that in the further installation process.
Are these optional steps required to move on with my Installation?
KingRoot is full of adware and it actively tries to stop you from changing it to a different root app.
That's why you should ( read as must ) change it.
Changing the root-handling app has nothing to do with unlocking the bootloader.
Look for the BL unlock method in the dev section.
Also, this should help you a lot:

Hey Vagelis, thanks for your reply and all the work you do (not only) around the g2m - I've read quiet some posts from you already . I'll switch to SuperSU before I proceed with the boot loader unlock method that I've found in the 'Everything' thread.
Will do so in a few hours, then update this thread accordingly. Thanks!

Well, since you change to another ROM afterwards, it is not that important to replace the app, I guess. But it is allways better to be on the safe side.
Hey All!
Ill post a "little" thread how to bring new life back to your aging phone- respectively L50U.
Note. This is for Advanced users- Novice users can and will brick their phones at one time. I hard bricked my phone 7x times!!! before i got all information how to do it!
History:
To those who don't know- L50u was specifically released to China Market only with Ferrari and Carbon covers. If you happened to be at launch in China you could have gotten a 50% off promotion deal of the price as in Europe this thing D6503 was around 900 euro at launch. 1 thing though- L50u at first was China(region) locked. The international ROM came long after that(afaik could be wrong)
Also as these phones are kinda* rare in Europe its mostly neglected in "posts" and "how to guides" here.
Kudos to @Pitzmans https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2776842 for his post. That was one of the first threads i read when i got back home in Europe.

Unfortunately to access original D6503 Roms from Flashtool you have to convert your phone. The thread i followed back then- seems like it doesn't exist anymore. If there are other posts post below.
I'll tell you how to do that now:
We will use a hack found on Vietnamese site to convert (D6502,L50u,L50t,SO-03F) to D6503 Android 5.0.2 Lollipop
(https://congdongsony.wordpress.com/2015/03/18/root-sony-xperia-z2-d6503-android-5-0-2-lolipop/)
Basically its a custom ROM with integrated hack and other goodies. You can translate the page using chrome no problem.
After following the instructions there (semi-user friendly) the end result is a converted L50u with D6503 and up to 3G baseband.
If you are okey at this time and age with a working Lolipop and 1-3G capability- you are good to go!

However now you can use Xperia flashing tool to safely upgrade or downgrade to KitKat (4.4.2) or Marshmallow (6.0.1)
Note! Sony Companion will show L50u error upon its recovery- so forget about using it. In all other cases it will show D6503 genuine.
I would recommend to downgrade to 4.4.2 as there are lots of root options.
Most popular is EasyRootTool v12.4. (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952593374)
However if this is Launch phone you can use rootkitXperia_20140719 (https://gist.github.com/neneppy/7c0b2eac6085684bc33b2d9087d57627)
- no problems there.
After you have root you need dual recovery! Ive tried couple and maybe its the L50u but most success i had was with
Z2-lockeddualrecovery2.8.2-RELEASE.installer
for this phone it just works. (link below). I think it was rewritten specifically for L50u- found on Chinese site. Don't get European version as it may result in bootloop.

Now before Carbon there are some things you need to do:
* backup DRM keys using Backup TA (https://github.com/DevShaft/Backup-TA/releases) if you want them.
* unlock your bootloader via flashtool(follow instructions from sony) the bootloader must be unlocked otherwise it wont let you flash it.
* get Carbon (https://get.carbonrom.org/device-sirius.html)
* Extract boot.img from the zip file (you will need it so your phone understands what you are trying to do)
@ * get magisk as superSu wont work on 8.1 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/beta-magisk-v13-0-0980cb6-t3618589) in case you want root privileges.
* dont get twrp 3.2.1 yet as for this phone its a bootloop guaranteed. the 2.8.2 version is already in Z2-lockeddualrecovery (below)
* reinstall Z2-loceddualrecovery (http://m.weiyoou.com/share/6168212.html) - if its gone.
* get gapps Arm-8.1 ,I recommend the full package (https://opengapps.org/)
* get recovery deadman (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329066004)
and sirius (https://mega.nz/#F!SYQxnRrb!ahC91yfNOmi8NVavJvuydw)
* !!! And finally get your modem drivers! Vietnamese version has 3G (above). Pitzmans may be too old.
You need Sony Xperia L50u BaseBand By Buyu.zip (made in China remember?)
(http://m.weiyoou.com/share/13293366.html) just scroll down and there they will be. This will enable 1 to 4G all baseband.
Put the zip files on your sd card(highly recommended), without an sd card twrp may crash and if you place them internally- something might get lost in process.
@ Note. Forget about 1 click rooters like Kingo/King/Root/Dr,fone etc. You only get headaches when you want to remove them. Most of the time its not possible the easy way and most of the time they have insufficient privilege sets.

Before we start follow this guide and create a PATH where your files are together with the extracted boot.img
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQN7db_SlzU) This will help you if you mess up your phone(brick it/bootloop etc) and need to re-reflash it to stock and start whole thing over.
Now follow this guide (http://www.teamandroid.com/2018/03/...eria-z2-carbonrom-6-1-oreo-custom-firmware/2/) up to step 8.
Step 9.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery-3.1.1-1-deadman.img
deadman will reboot your phone in recovery (like in the youtube above)
or
Code:
fastboot flash TWRP-Sirius.img
. If first dsn't work try the second.
Step 10. Once you are in twrp- click on Wipe -> Advanced Wipe and tick : System,Data, Dalvik, Cache -> Swipe!
Step 11. Flash CarbonRom zip. Add More Zips (don't reboot don't exit)
Step 12. Flash Sony Xperia L50u BaseBand By Buyu.zip (/../)
Step 13. Flash open_gapps-arm-8.1-full-20180602.zip (/../) (it takes a long long time don't worry)
Step 14. Flash Magisk-v16.4-Beta.zip
Now you can Wipe "cache/dalvik" or not and reboot system.
First boot can take up to 10-15 min- don't worry! Also you have to touch the image(ball) after this time!- or you will be staring at it all day!

Congratulations!
You have now a working Sony Z2 Xperia on a Carbon ROM running Android 8.1 Oreo thus giving this phone more years!
On AnTuTu benchamark this phone now scores around 55k performance points (about 12k more then on Marshmallow 6.0.1 with ~43k)
Wait, I'm confused. The link you provided for converting L50u to D6503 is not available anymore, so should I just skip that step? Would the steps be,
- root my L50u
- intall dual recovery
and rest of your steps?
Hello everyone, I'm learning about custom recoveries and rooting at the moment and I wanted to try the process on my phone: a Realme 7 RMX2155 (RMX2155_11_C.17) and it's from EUW. I'm looking to unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery (if possible) and then root the mobile (using Magisk).
I am VERY new and I've tried looking at Youtube videos, links here and on Telegram but as an example, the files used have different names and versions etc so I don't know which one to use.
I have been looking at the guides here on XDA and found this one: [GUIDE] REALME 7 RMX2155 GLOBAL BOOTLOADER UNLOCK
Although I have several questions about the process:
- Can i install a custom recovery like TWRP or Orange Fox in my mobile ? Or am i limited to unlocking the bootloader and then rooting the phone ? I read on the interwebs that it's more secure and could avoid bricking the device prior to unlocking the bootloader in case something goes wrong.
- Can i root my phone model which is on Android 11 ? AFAIK the In-Depth APK app only supports up to Android 10 and It does not seem that I can downgrade using those firmwares to unlock my bootloader ? Should I use RMX2151 firmware model and downgrade to it (EDL and no OZIP files) ?
- The phone is on Realme 2.0 with 2022.04.11 version. Does it also require a specific configuration to be able to root the phone ? Either via downgrade or a different way I do not know of.
- I have also read about this unbricking guide in case something goes wrong but I don't know if I need to get a different firmware or do a different configuration on the phone before using SP Flash Tool and downgrading the phone. Would It be the correct way to do it for my RMX2155?
Thanks in advance!
