I tried to flash a rom with flashtool latest version but it didn't recognize the .tft file. I did some research online and seems like it's a bug at the latest version of flashtool as I had a very old version of flashtool and it recognized .tft file just fine. My question is; is it possible to flash rom with other program? Or if u have the flashtool older version that would work with z5c, could u upload it for me please? Thanks

Download the FlashTool and the latest X10a firmware (2.1.A.0.435), flash it with the FlashTool, done
You can find everything in the X10's Android Development subforum.

3. Install flashtool 0.2.6

6. Follow instructions and WAIT around 5 minutes untill the flash process will end.
&. Enjoy.
The latest version for you (x10a) is 2.1.1.A.06 fromRogers. If yoy dislike it (Rogers) pt te A.0.435 Practically is quite the same, it works both.

hey,
i flashed cyanogenmod on my ray.. but after all u flashed the stock rom again from this forum (ftf via flashtool).
the thing is that SE companion software says (if i want to update /repair my firmware) that the firmware is modified and it wonmt update it. now my question: do i now always have to flash the new roms (for example when ICS will come) or is there a method to get back to the real stock rom so that SE companion will update/repair the firmware?
im on android 2.3.4. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1316070)
its rooted and the kernel is still the one from the cyanogenmod (i think- well, i didnt flash any new kernels after cyanogenmod..just flashed the rom)
bootloader is unlocked
hope you can help me..thx
yes after unlocking bootloader you always have to install stock firmwares via flash tool
use wotan server , it is a great way to install stock rom
hmm okay thanks! .. btw is there a way to lock the bootloader again so i can install the firmware with SE again?
thanks for the tip!
Hi there. I am advised to with this rom and nAa 11 (kernel). I see it's good advice since there is a lot of people enjoying this rom. However today when i checked rom installation requirements i noticed somethig.
Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415026
They say that phone need to have:
Requirements:
Latest 2.1.1.A.0.6/2.1.1.C.0.0 SE firmware / Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
But my phone is:
firmware 2.0.A.0.504 and baseband is
M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-534040056
Am i going to get in to trouble if i upload this rom anyway?
Thanks in advance
1. try updating with flash tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=986692 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826455
a good guide for flashtool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343
2. alternately download pc companion: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/sup...ject/pccompanion/xperiax10minipro?cc=ph&lc=en
and update you phone software.
3. use seus but i cant find the link to download.
because if you dont it wont work and as they always say "I wont be held responsible if you brick you phone"
You have to use the correct firmware and baseband. Otherwise will have problems.
I flash a few roms with the wrong baseband and had a lots of problems of stability.
Now I have MiniCM7-2.1.9, with nAa-11 kernel and works perfect.
Ok thanks. I'll try to find that firmware version and flash it before i continue with kernel and rom. Do you have any link to where i could find these firmware versions?

Try this one //db.tt/ukt80PBn (I can't post links yet)
Or search in the "XPERIA X10 Mini Pro Android Development " area.
read through many posts, still unable to flash to stock rom(can flash stock kernel, but unable to update through SEUS or PCC) because SEUS and PCC identifies me as the latest version(and my roms are 2.1update1, thats latest version)
but problem is that i dont have the Install or repair option at the bottom after connecting to SEUS or PCC in flashmode
thats why i cant flash with stock rom, even though i had flashed it with stock kernel
so i wanna try to flash it with older version that is android 2.1 for x10 mini pro, so that hopefully SEUS and PCC detects that i have older rom, and download the new rom for it...
being diggin xda devs and tried all sorts of solution and in vail...

Hi,
You mentioned you are rooted , so i assume you have recovery.
Search for the tread for a prerooted LP Firmware zip and flash over your current Firmware.
I did it, and its working great.
