Phone won't turn on and green light. - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all
I was charging my phone last night and this morning none of my alarms went off. Picked up my phone unplugged it to see that my phone wouldn't turn on and in the top right the green light stays on? Anyone know how to fix it.
Cheers

tmobile pocket pc phone wont power up

HELP!!! I'm away from home and having major issues. I left my tmobile ppcpe on the charger last night and headed off to bed. When I woke up this morning, the charging LED was solid green. I took the phone off the cradle and tried to power up to no avail. There was no illumination of the LEDs at all. The phone wouldnt respond to the power button so I began to worry. After exercising every option I could think of, I decided to try hard resetting. No such luck. The battery led blinked red for a second, and the red phone hangup button lit weakly, but that was all. I still cant get the phone to power up and I'm in a very sticky situation here. Any help would be mucho appreciated.
WOW sounds like your having the same problems as the person in the below thread, check it out and see what you think:

[Q] Phone won't turn on, blinking red light while charging.

Last night I was using my phone to take pictures. I put my phone in my pocket and it still had >80% battery life. I took it out about 20 minutes later and it was just completely dead, no response to buttons, no buttons worked, etc.
When I came home I plugged it in figuring the battery must have somehow died, but now I'm getting a red light blinking. I let it charge for some time now (over 5 hours) but it still won't turn on. I also tried the "hold both volume and power buttons" trick but the red light just stops blinking and starts again.
Any ideas?
Update: Now plugging it in does nothing. No light of any kind.

[XP] Phone won't start (dead?)

hi, i'm unable to start my phone. all of a sudden it turned off while being on charger.
The LED now lights dim red (if on charger) and does nothing. Pressing any side buttons do nothing, just the led still lights dim red. Plugging off charger cable doesn't make any difference just the LED turns off.
Can this be due to battery not charging? It has power off shortly ago due full discharge. I plugged in charger, phone turned on for a while indicating charging by LED bright red. Phone was awake about several minutes, then this sudden die.
Any help is highly apreciated.
have you already long pressed the power button until the phone vibrates?
It was solved! The phone kicked in 30 minutes after, now behaves normal.
Anyway curious why the phone didn't start so long. Tho discharged it had power supply.
I replaced battery recently, so maybe a bad contact or the cord dropped out?

[Q] Need help, HTC One M7 won't turn on, green LED flashing

I have a M7 that's been running CM 11 for a couple weeks now. Went to bed last night with the phone charging, playing podcasts. When I woke up, the phone is non responsive, won't turn on, only sign of life is a green LED flashing constantly about once a second. The red charging LED won't come on when the phone is plugged into the wall. When plugged into a PC, the PC doesn't recognize that there's anything plugged in.
I've tried power+vol down, and same button combo with a bright light next to the proximity sensor, to no effect. Any help is appreciated.

you ever figure this out ?
you can hold power plus volume up for 20 seconds thats a hard reboot
then try power plus volume down to enter the bootloader
It must have gotten into some kind of hard lock. I let it sit until the battery ran out, charged it up for a few hours, and turned it back on like nothing had happened.

M4 Stopped working at all for no reason?

So I left my phone to charge overnight, woke up and it had a RED LED, S oi tought to myself "thats not normal" tried to turn it on, it wouldnt respond. When I took it out of the charger the red light went away. Tried to tun it on with power + volume down, did not work. PLugged it in, red led does not turn on, i hold power plus volume down again, red led turns on, but wont do more than that. SO now I'm stuck, What do i do?

You can try pressing the "Off" button in the microSD slot. Just try I'm not really sure but it did work on some users (information from sonymobile)
