I have done the Magisk root and xposed and whenever I turn root off and try and load the app it just gets stuck and never loads. After I restart with xposed disabled it finnaly works but it says it should work with xposed enable and xposed really does a lot for me so I would like to keep it on while playing Pokemon go is it possible or not?

Hello, I just started getting random reboots from my generic kitkat tablet and I know it's from the ads that's build in the tablet and nothing else because when I turn off Wi-Fi the tablet is fine no reboots what so ever. Now I did download and install an ad blocker it stops the Ad from loading up completely but a loading screen still comes up and that's when it reboots the tablet. As the title states this is a constant thing and it's really annoying, I wish I could install a custom rom or even CWM recovery but since the tablet came out not long ago there aren't any available at the moment.... So if anybody experienced the same issue my question is are there any other way to get the ads to completely in order to stop the reboots? Thanks in advance
i've narrow it down to it being an issue with the Wi-Fi (i've tried factory reset and that didn't work either) and I see that some are having issue with this as well :crying:
If you are familar with ADB I can try to help you if you can get a logcat so we can see what is happening right before the reboot.

THANKS!! but it's been a couple of years since I really dealt with ADB that i think I would need a refresher on how to set it up (which im trying to look up now) and since my tablet came out early during the summer and there's no custom recovery for it im actually curious to create my own for it
Logcat
here's the logcat of my tablet for anyone that may be interested in helping me, thanks in advance

You neglected to tell us that you are running Xposed Framework on your tablet :silly:
First, disable all your Xposed Modules and reboot then see if you can duplicate the random reboot problem.
- If yes, uninstall the Xposed Framework and reboot then try again.
- If no, Reenable your Modules one at a time while trying to duplicate until you find the moduile that is causing the reboot.
Can you list the modules that you are running?
If you want to get rid of the advertisements just add the ips to the hosts file in system/etc

Xposed didn't cause it because it was rebooting on wifi once I did a factory reset I attached another logcat this time factory reset settings
I did notice something though... if I disable the wifi then reset the tablet, let it sit for a minute then turn the wifi back on it don't seem to reboot itself like 5-10 seconds it takes a few mins to reboot (unlike if i was to leave the wifi running while resetting)

I installed greenify yesterday, and it has caused my phone crash two times. First time was when I clicked experimental features, second time was when I tried to hibernate a weather app. Both time my phone got stuck, and I can't even turn off the screen. What's the problem?

What is your device and what ROM do you have?
Have you installed the correct version of Xposed installer and APK and is it working?
Is any other Xposed module working on your phone?
If so, please post logs of the crash.

Samsung s6 edge SM-G9250, stock rom. My phone doesn't support Xposed. BTW, where can I find crash logs?

So are you running it on "Unrooted" mode? Have you enabled it in Accessibility and Device Administrator?
Some functions of Experimental Features will not work without Xposed.
For crash logs, you can use ADB if you know how, or Logcat from Play Store.

Oh I'm sorry, I rooted my phone and I'm running Greenify on "root" mode. Since my phone freezed and rebooted right after, can apps like Logcat record the crash log? I haven't crashed since I installed "aLogcat" though.
I'm afraid no tool apps on device could log the reboot. You need a connected computer running "adb logcat -v time" to capture logcat around the reboot.

There is possibility that status bar will not change colors in apps as it does in normal Lollipop ROM, instead it will remain white or black. It still will be transparent on Desktop, tho. I guess it's fault of ported boot.img since with stock boot.img it's working fine. But there is workaround.
You will need Xposed Installer, Xposed Framework (xposed-v79-sdk22-arm.zip) from this thread
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
and Flat Style Colored Bars from Google Playstore.
Code:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bocharov.xposed.fscb
Install Xposed app -> reboot to Recovery and flash xposed-v79-sdk22-arm.zip -> reboot phone. (It will take a while since android has to update a lot of files from Xposed. It will restart couple of times, don't be scared.)
Now open Xposed and go to Modules -> Check Flat Style Colored Bars module and restart phone.
After that, status bar will change colors again. Sadly they wont be tinted since it's free version of module so at light colors there will be black icons instead of white.

Kind regards
Trafalgar Square
For V78 and 79 approximately 5-10 min and made a normal demmarage then after there was a black screen him was unusable I just had the possibility " Switch off, or put in silencer " by pressing on the button off
First of all you want to root your phone using KingRoot then change it to SuperSu using SuperSuMe v9.1.9, then Install its binnaries and update it to newest version using Play Store. Reboot. Then you want to check those two posts mentioned here. After that reboot phone and download this app. Check if it shows "SeLinux Permissive" if so, then you can flash Xposed Framework v81 and after 5mins it should work.
Blackscreen will show mostlikely when phone is rooted using kingroot, if you change to supersu you will get bootloop. Unless you change SeLinux to permissive.
Hello i tried to force permissive but i have an error with the mkdir
"mkdir failed for /system/su.d ,File exists"
I had it too actually. SuperSu makes this folder when you are installing it. Next steps should work without problem and after reboot it should set it to permissive. I'm not sure if this terminal method is enough since I first created that file for init.d and minutes later I did the terminal thing but it worked.
Hi , im kind of new to all this so please bear with me.
So i cant sign in with google anymore it just crashes then restarts Pokemon Go ,
the phone is an Alcatel Pixi 4 model 4034D it comes with (marshmallow) Android v6.0.
Before i rooted it i could login fine ,
but since it was not really playable i looked for a way to increase fps.
Sadly i can't even login now , after three days of trial and error to learn how to root it
I unlocked the bootloader , then installed the latest TWRP on it and Phh's SuperUser.
Got all my files from a tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/alcatel-one-touch-pixi-4-t3376597/page10
Used Root Checker to confirm its rooted, installed Gltools.
The program works fine, started messing around with the settings seen from videos or forums.
Turned it off , too see what that would do.
Reinstalled Pokemon Go like three times.
I tried basically every root hider app from Google Play , thinking that might be the problem with no effect.
I have this feeling that im missing something.
All help appreciated , much thanks in advance
Edit: Fixed it by disabling the developer options , thank god!
If you cant disable it , you need to go to Settings>Apps , then find Settings>Storage and finally clear data.
Now your Settings are reset and developer options is again hidden where it was.

How you root 4034d phone pls help me i cant root this android...
Pokemon GO can't be played on rooted devices / or with custom ROMs. Same applies to Snapchat, Mario Run, Android Pay, etc. I don't know what is the developers problem with root and that stuff, but thats the reality.
EDIT: Oops, looks like there was a delay while sending the post so I didn't see your edit. BTW, how the hell did you play Pokemon GO on a rooted device?
Hi!
I'm rooted on stock .570, with xposed installed aswell. The root and xposed are working fine for some time after startup, suddenly Facebook stops working (getting this error message. wich comes over and over again, with random time between each, sometimes 0.5seconds). When this happens, root checker says I'm not rooted, and xposed installer says the xposed framework is not installed.
Once I restart my phone, the root and xposed are working fine again. Any suggestions on what's wrong and how to fix this? (preferably without factory reset)
Thanks!
