How to delete Verizon 6gb bloatware on Galaxy s4 ? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Hi ,
I am having an issue with my Samsung Galaxy s4 sch-i545 from verizon lte .
I only bought the phone around a year ago and noticed there was a problem with the storage , it had around 6.5 GB of space occupied with "Misc. Files" , ill try to link screenshots in the comments because it turns out i cant post links here yet , in the picture the system memory takes 6.26 GB and it cannot be deleted .
I did some searching around but I couldn't find anything on any android forum on how to fix this , even though almost all of the other people using the same phone from Verizon had the very same problem . My phone is currently not rooted so it has the official software provided by Samsung and Verizon . I have never rooted any phone before but I'm confident I can do it reading the guides in this forum . Also on another forum someone told me that if i could make a CWM backup ( don't know what that is ) of my phone and then delete the internal storage and restore through that back-up the space would be freed . So i'm asking for a way to delete that bloat ware , possibly a step-by-step guide .
Thank You .

im posting them with 3 spacings between because I cannot post links yet , sorry for that .

Hello ,
Just wanted to let you all know the issue is fixed . Well , not properly fixed but I rooted my phone using KingRoot and got ES File Explorer which found out that my Phone Samsung Galaxy s4 SCH-I545 from VZW only had 10GB of internal storage since the rest of the 6GB storage had gone to the System Memory ( the android OS so to say ) .
There are still new I545's out there so here is a Call for all of you wanting to buy one : DO NOT GET IT FROM VERIZON !

Am using this type of phone and am facing alot

1} Not sure, sorry.
2} Games; Angry birds, 9mm, cut the rope, NOVA 2, Chaos And Order Online.
2} Apps; Iris (Alpha), Voice Actions, Tiny LED Flashlight, Download All Files, Ttorrent, Archidroid, Mp3 Music Downloader PRO, Shazam.
3} Cracked Apps; Applanet, Blackmart Alpha, Pandapp, Snappz Market, Mobilism market
^ It honestly depends what you want though, Check out the top rated apps and games in the market place
3} No, it isn't necessary, but it does give you a few more features, personally I've rooted my device 3 times and I have to say, it's more trouble than it's worth. It does void your warrenty, yes, but you can un-void it (lol) by using a USB JIG (works on the old bootloader only - Android 2.3.3 (Doesn't work on 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 unless it has the old bootloader))
Agree with a post above, but I think, that rooted device is better.
Much more features than stock, especially this device and many awesome ROMs...
Personally I would keep the stock file system for the USB storage. Hit videohelp.com and get a tool to split your file if size restrictions are inhibiting. Just my opinion.
If you are around here you'll want to check out the superuser apps like root explorer, titanium backup or mybackup, BLN, and browse around for themes, apps and roms here. Get paid versions of everything if you want the proper experience.
Of course rooting will void your warranty and of course you should root your phone.
thanks everyone for replies
all of these apps/games can be downloaded through android market isnt it ??
after rooting can i get my warranty back ??
Can anyone pls tell me a good site from where i can get cracked apps/games for my device ??
& one more thing, i bought this device few hours ago & have put it on to charge but it gets heated up too much i dont know why.
can anyone tell me, it gets heated above the samsung logo near the earpiece & behind near the camera
NTFS is not supported. Work a round here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131924
Requires root.
No one here will give you links to warez sites.
Rooting will void your warranty, but removing it is easy, so you will get your warranty back.
The overheating issue, check your firmware and update to the later ones, should solve it.

Having problem with my S4 and need help .

Hi , recently i switched from samsung galaxy s3 I9300 to samsung galaxy s4 I9500and i've been experiencing some really annoying problems.First of all i can't download any file from my browsers except the stock one . Every time i try to download a file the download simply fails telling me i don't have enough space available ( at least this is what Dolphin browser tells me ) , when in fact i have 6.73 GB free on my device storage and 3.66 GB free on my SD card . The second problem is that whenever i open the tumblr app or the instagram one , the images don't load up , while posts do. My device is rooted and is running on Kitkat 4.4.2. Does anybody know what's going on ?

[Q] Problem with RAM

Hello , first i want to apologize if this isn't the proper place , i try to find other topic with same problem as mine and didn't find any... 10 months ago i bought android phone Jiayu G4T ( 1G ram ; 4G rom ) till few weeks ago there wasn't any problem but i try to replace ROM with custom one , after couple times of fails and boot loop i manage to install new rom successfully but i've notice that some apps stop working after they start , i thought that the problem is in rom but after i check system i've notice that RAM is only 512mb , since than i've changed 5 different roms ( ROMs from Jiayu.es , ROM from pandawill , ROM from jiayumobile.be) pretty much all official roms ( with flashtools and CMW ) . all of them shows 512ram , and with that OS there is not enought memory to run different apps w/o problem.
So my question is does that problem can be occured by hardware problem or it might be software issue ?
Any thoughts ?
thanks ind advance
Edit: now after i check Internal storage is 2.5G only too ( it usually show less than max capacity but 1.5g ? )
Ok
I dont have this problem.
Try to install via flashtool, oficial rom.
Then u know if is a software or hardware problem.
Dont know to help u more. sorry
Good luck
hi , i keep read about ppls with same issue and i found article that ppls said that the problem might be that my android do not recognize RAM ... i dl-ed from app store rooted explorer and i found file "/d/memblock/memory" after i open the file with text editor i see inside
0: 0x80000000. .0x9bffffff
1: 0x9d800000. .0x9f2ffffff
does that mean that there are 2 ram slots and only one is recognize if it is that so can i do something about it

Phone factory-resetted itself. Some data missing.. Still shows 12/16 GB used.

Phone: GT i9300 (aka international Galaxy S3)
Storage: 16GB
Firmware: I9300XXUGNA8 (4.3)
Rooted: Yes
Recovery: ClockWorkMod
Bought: Abought September 2012
My Problem:
When i left the house this morning everything was working properly with my phone but when i took it out of my pocket at work
i had to see that the phone had done a factory reset all by itself and the google playstore , playservices and all other gapps
are missing. Also apps that would come with the firmware are no existant.
I did a bit of reaserch and found that this could be related to an insane chip problem where some chip, related to the memory is in
a bad state since production. It was stated that some phones died to sudden death in just a few weeks but also this
problem was fixed by samsung with android 4.1.2 onwards.
I also used a app called eMMC Check to see if my memory is defect, but it did a memory test and said it was ok, but also stated that i have
this insane chip.
Further i had a problem with apps suddenly deleting themselfs/simply disappering once or twice in the last one or two month.
This could de fixed by deleting the contents of the app folder (where its installed) and renaming it. Afterwards you could reinstall the app
through the playstore. Beforehand the app would still be shown as installed in playstore, when accessing through a browser. and also
is ore are all the apps i had on my phone before it resetted it today. But i cant find them in any directory i can access on my phone
or through adb.
I don't know if or how this could be related but I'm assuming it is.
Something to mention would be that the phone shows under storage-information that about 12GB out of 16GB are
which would aproimately be the data i had on my phone before. But as mentioned i cant't find it anywhere though dile explorer or
adb.
Also it shows about 8.2 GB of other data beeing on my phone but when i click on it it shows only a few megabyte of data.
As if some Data is hidden/occupying storage but not accesible for the OS.
I want to know if there is any possibility to rescue any data or if its lost or
if anyone had a similar problem before.
I hope you can understand what my problem is and that i have provided enough detail for you.
If anything comes to my mind or you have a question i will update the post/you can simply ask.
Please keep in mind that english isn't my main/first language.
Thanks in advance.

Sadly this doesn't really fit my problem. The only folder i had in data/media was clockworkmod.
I moved it into /0 and restarted my phone but nothing has changed.
I'm thinking that the data that is occupying my sd card is out of range of the operating system .. could that potentially be ?

Yes it probably is..
Are you looking in the right place did you see
0
legacy
obb
folders as well. If not I think you may belooking in the wrong place these folders must be there try using a root explorer and look carefully through your system root files not your ext sd card.

I'm 100% sure i'm in the right direction (/data/media/) and there only seeing the thre folder (0, legacy, obb).
I found under data/clipboard some old clips (pictures).
And i possibly found the issue..
I have a lost+found folder which is 8.14 GB big .. I don't know to much about lost and found.
just that files end there when the os doesn't know what to do with them.
So any chance for recovering data ?
I think everyfolder has # and a number so i think i have to look in all of them to find out whats left of my data.
