Every time I reboot or try to set an alarm I get the following...
Sorry! The application Alarm (process com.android.deskclock) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I can then choose force close or report.
If I was trying to set an alarm after I force close I can usually get a window that pops up and I can set an alarm. The alarm works if I set one.
What makes this really annoying is the error pops up on every reboot.
I'm running Galaxy Task 14. Not sure when it started happening since I've been installing and setting things up all day. I love fixing things with info already posted but all searching has led me to dead ends. :banghead:
Any ideas or can someone point me in any direction?

SOLVED...
Flashed the ROM again. Only wiped cache and dalvik so I only had to reset a few apps. The issue is resolved.

thanks a lot, that did work for me as well. I'm using Overcome ROM on a P7510 and was showing the same error message every time I restarted my tab.
Posted this in General Discussion, thought it would go better here.
I had been trying to change my ringtone on my rooted and unlocked Atrix 4G however I kept getting the error "activity android system is not responding". So I rebooted the phone and tried again, this time it let me change the ringtone. However when I call my phone the phone vibrates (despite the ring volume being at max) and does not respond when I try to answer or ignore the call. It continues to vibrate then gives me an error "Process com.android.phone is not responding".
Does anyone know what is going on? Maybe I have to reinstall Android? Any suggestions? Thanks
This problem occured after I uninstalled GO launcher and launch Vlc player on my tablet Dell Venue 7 3740 LTE. Vlc player gives the summary of error ocurred to launch vlc player and asks for restart.and when I try to launch any app, message pop ups apps stopped working. After rebooting, again the same error messages pop up 'unfortunately app stopped working' for all the apps, after an hour I got message 'android.process.gapps stopped working' after that I got another message 'android.process.media stopped working'. I rebooted the tablet again and when I tried two ways.......
1. After restarting if I suddenly unlocks screen it, it gives me message 'unfortunately the android.process.acore stopped working' the within a second another message pops 'launcher stopped working' after this these messages pop up continuously. so it needs to reboot again.
2. After restarting if I unlocks the screen after some minutes, it behaves normal and no error messages. My phone app is working, youtube is working, gallery is also working, firefox browser is working. after some time message pop ups 'unfortunately android .process.media stopped working' , but my phone app, gallery and you tube are working normally, But when I launch all the other apps message pop up 'unfortunately app has stopped'. some of the the apps get updated automatically. and in between I get message 'system UI stopped'.
I searched for solution over the web, it needs to disable the 'download app' option or clear the cache option from settings.
so I rebooted the tablet as mentioned in second point above.
Now, after restarting as said in second point, tablet is working and no error messages, but i need to launch setting to clear the cache. when iI try to launch setting it pop ups 'unfortunately setting stopped working'. only my phone app, gallery and youtube are working, for others apps I try to launch message comes 'unfortunately app stopped'. And after intervals of some minutes it pop ups messages 'unfortunately android.process.media stopped working' or 'android.process.gapps stopped working' or 'android.process.acore stopped working' . When I try to to launch setting 'unfortunately setting stopped'.
But my phone app, gallery. I can make calls, can set the wallpapers and youtube is working good. other apps don't work and message pop ups 'app stopped working.
whenever I reboot the tablet and all the things happens according to the two ways...as above and sometime tablet reboots automatically....:'(
Please, can someone tell me why this is happening and its solution......
Hi! I have simular problem. If you fix them please help me - [Problem] [Venue 8 3830] Unfortunately, process com.google.process.gapps has stoped
Hi everyone,
My phone was working fine but suddenly the pop up "process com.motorola.process.system has stopped" appeared. It pops up again and again even if I acknowledge it. I saw a solution that changing the time zone would help but my phone never allows me to change it since every time I open the settings it crashes. Is it possible to change the time settings in recovery mode?
Thanks!
I started receiving this today. When I click "OK" the message bounces back up almost immediately, like a spam.
If I wait for 10-15 minutes and then press "OK" button, then I have maybe 5 seconds time window until message appears again.
Same happens when I click "Try to solve".
Earlier today I had a notification something like "Youtube app might harm your phone".
I tried restarting and plugging out battery, didn't help.
I didn't really bother with that since I own Lenovo k3 note with factory settings and I had adware for a long time. So I thought that was just a missinformation.
P.S. I'm not sure what exactly version of Android is currently installed on my phone and now I can't really check either...
Lenovo phone, says it all. Unfortunately Youtube is a system file on Lenovo so when it hangs you cannot access anything else.
Remove the battery and leave alone for roughly 5 minutes, this lets any caps to discharge so the phone has to restart from boot.
try starting the phone again, if this doesn't work, try doing a factory reset.
