LTE not working in any custom ROM. Tried both SIM slots. - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

OK, from the day I bought the phone, I was not able to connect to any 4G LTE network.
I tried MIUI (obviously), CM13, Slim, AOSP, etc and was not able to connect to 4G network.
I even used this method to fix LTE issues: Link.
I am currently testing all the ROMs available. Flashed about 8 different ROMs today itself.
Any fixes/workarounds?
Thank you!:highfive:

[Q] Help Fixing Data Issues

Hello All,
I recently installed a Rom from the international htc one forums and I am encountering the problem where my data is constantly switching between G, 2G, and 4G. I tried installing the t-mobile radio but it still does not fix this issue. Any help to fix this problem would be appreciated, thanks!.

Where did you buy your phone? From HTC directly or at a T-Mo/T-Mo affiliate? When flashing a ROM, make sure it's compatible with the T-Mobile HTC One. I would try flashing one with confirmed support. If you have an M7 directly from HTC, you will NOT be able to receive HSPA+ 42mbs through the 1700 (AWS) band. However, you can still get HSPA+ 21mbs through the 1900 band if you are in a refarmed area.

My Phone is from T mobile. I live in a re-framed area but it seems the radio for the M7 from HTC was put on my phone or that's what I am guessing.

Your phone would be able to receive the signal as long as it supports the band. Perhaps you just have spotty coverage? Try flashing another RAM or stock to see if it switches on you.

I tried flashing a bunch of different roms and stock ones too. None of them worked to fix the problem. My reception isn't the problem as before I installed Android Revolution I had constant 4g everywhere I went with at least 4-5 bars. I also flashed the t mobile radio found on these forums too but that didn't work either.

I'm confused, are you saying you tried a bunch of ROMs and none of them worked well besides ARHD?

I flashed other roms to see if it was just ARHD that was affected by the data problem. Anything I flashed after ARHD would have the same problems

did you get this solved? i am having a similar issue. when i first turn on my phone, i can get 4g/hspa. but it drops after a couple of mins. i dont even get edge. works everytime i reboot the phone or go from airplane mode on to off. i noticed the problem after rooting my tmobile htc one and flashing a ROM.
Is it better just to stick with approved ROM for Tmo? There are not many to go around.
I learn if it is 4g, 3g, wifi, etc it is kernel and just find a Tmo kernel.
Cook ROM and Kernel are different.
I am still learning.

Atrix 4G On CyanogenMod 11 Wont Work On Ting Network

Ting on Atrix 4G
Hello everybody,
I've signed up for Ting, a better alternative to StraightTalk I believed. I tried everything I could think of to make Ting's SIM card work with CyanogenMod 11 on my Atrix, no such luck. I then flashed back to the stock rom, reluctantly, thinking I would be able to make the SIM work before flashing back to Cyanogen. This is also a failure, so it seems like to me that Ting will never work on my Atrix.
I cannot make calls, there is no Mobile Network it states. I don't care about data or messaging, all I need is for the voice to work. I've tried numerous APNs and nothing is working.
Anyone else out there running Ting on their Atrix? I'm not one to quit so after 2 days straight of this I'm ready to throw the phone against a brick wall to force myself to stop working on this lost cause.
Appreciate anyone with any insight to offer. Thanks
TracFone's SIMs also don't work on the Atrix. They are deliberately locked down to work in their own devices ONLY.

Stuck with 2g since march.

Hi there i bought my note 3 pro with some vendor rom 7.1.99.99 and it ony worked 2g in both sim slots. Tried already flashing all kinds of ROMs tricks using qpst etc the outcome is the same. Do you have any more ideas to recovery at least 3g?

What is your phone carrier/provider, I would check what your provider supports in terms of Network Bands/ Frequencies.
You may likely need to switch to another phone carrier to have it working on 3G or better yet 4G.
If you do have the supported Bands/ Frequencies, I can help you with setting them to work with GSM network, LTE network, or setting between the two. (You just got to provide what country you use your phone if you are unable to provide your phone provider or simply do not know).

4g not working in redmi note 4 after rooting

few days before i rooted my redmi note 4 , when i reboot the phone i found that jio 4g sim is showing NO SERVICE. i replaced with new jio sim but same problem, even i did all the settings correctly. then i tried airtel 2g/3g it worked fine. i flashed my phone many times with all global roms of different versions, also i flash modem but still nothing happened. so i need some help, please tell me what should i do now?????
Well if you have tried a different SIM from Jio itself and different roms, it should mean that there's probably no 4G connection available where you are.
I have a RN4 (Germany) and I have zero issues with connecting to 4G networks here, even from the prepaid SIMs.

[HELP] CUSTOM ROM WITH 4G LTE SUPPORT?

Hello everyone, is there a custom ROM that has 4G LTE support? I rooted my Samsung M30-M305F and switched from One UI 2.0 Android 10 to Lineage OS 18 Android 11. Now my 4G SIM calls end immediately upon dialing while data works perfectly fine. Also, my 3G SIM works perfectly fine for both calling and data. I have tried all SIM swapping combinations but still the 4G SIM doesn't place calls. Thank you.
