How do you interrupt a download???
I tried to restart the phone.
I tried to force close download manager.
The download just continued.
Any other ideas?
The problem was that it was a very slow download and a very large file…

I tried to install a new kernel and after finishing my phone keeps restarting and vibrating while I only see a black screen. I can enter download mode nad CWM, but I can only use download mode, because I don't have any backups. Any ideas about how can I fix my phone?
do a factory reset and clear cache via recovery mode, after that flash a stock rom via odin

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum. I'm from Indonesia, pardon my bad grammar.
First of all, my phone problem came from Freedom App which affects to Playstore error. I've tried to fix it with factory reset, it fixed.
And then my friend ask me to play a game which forced me to upgrade its OS from Jellybean to Lollipop, by myself. I know i'm new on this stuff but i tried to learn.
So, i used Samsung Kies to do that but it said already the newest update on that phone, then I download Lollipop 5.0x and Gapps file (i forgot the exact Gapps) and copy to SDcard try to upgrade by myself via Recovery Mode, it didn't work.
Then, i tried to reboot and download ROM Manager by Clockworkmod, after successful install Lollipop zip I install Gapps zip but it's not installed, then I just reboot without Gapps (i know i messed up) after my phone turned on and skip all register and open some apps it force closed.
So, I go to setting and system reset, apply. after reboot, it stuck on Samsung S III logo and keep restarting by itself. I've tried to go Recovery Mode but it couldn't, the only thing it can do just perform a Download Mode.
Then, I download Odin 3.10.7 and I8190DXALL3_I8190OLBALL4_HOME.TAR.md5 to fix it. After Green Pass and unplugged my phone i tried to turn it on but it keep restarting by itself every 30 seconds or whatever (happened 5 Hours ago).
And now i take the battery off, wait 20-30minutes then put it back and turn it on again; recovery mode; download mode, it stuck with "circle loading icon". Then keep restarted by itself every 5 minutes (maybe battery problem makes it slower ).
And now it stop restarting itself though i can turn it on or recovery mode or even download mode, still stuck on "circle loading icon". I'm desperate.

I today tried unistalling Magisk from my exonys s9+ and after the uninstall the phone went to reboot. But, the phone went into download mode after the reboot and now I am unable to boot it or get into recovery mode. The only option is I can get into download mode. Can anybody advice

Good morning (or evening ?) !
I owned a Samsung S9+ (star2lte) with an /e/ OS pre-installed. it was a young OS (based on Lineage) but after 1+ year and several updates, some basic feature were still not working. With the last update, additional apps did not work anymore and it began to be really boring.
So I decided to reinstall my phone with another image. Through the already-installed TWRP I tried to install an image of Lineage OS v18.1. I first copied the ZIP files into the internal storage and TWRP did the job without any issue... Well, this is what I thought !
Before the reboot, TWRP asked me if I wanted to download the last release of this software and I let it checked. Then I clicked onto a button to restart...
But then, the device rebooted in download mode. If I cancel the process, it reboots and, of course, returns in its download mode.
I tried to turn it off with SoundDown + Bixby + Power for seconds... But it restarts and does nothing more.
I tried to return into the TWRP interface with SoundUp + Bixby + Power but it still restarts in download mode.
I used Odin (v3.14.1) to restore an image (recovery.tar.md5) but I find it too quick (just a few seconds) for a 46MB+ file. But Odin says the file is ok, the phone reboots... And goes back in this annoying Download mode.
I would have liked to try to reinstall the Lineage image but I found nothing to convert a ZIP to a .tar.md5 (for instance) and a .tar file created by 7ZIP does not work (Odin even shuts down !).
Do you have any idea of what I could do now ???

Just a tiny update... I may finally have found a solution to unblock my phone : Samfirm v0.5.0 was not able to find an image (more precisely, it was able to find images but indicates rights errors) but was able to download something I never heard about : Combination. It contains a firmware in .tar.dm5 (about 2.85Gb) so I am currently installing it.
One will see, I triple-cross my fingers !!!
