Try These Uncommon Keyboards on Your Honor 8The default keyboard for the Honor 8 is fine, but I have always been using the Google keyboard. I switched to this keyboard on my device but I figured I might as well try some more uncommon keyboards that might be better. Here are some of the keyboards that I recommend you try out on your Honor 8.
Chroma KeyboardSince the Honor 8 has an AMOLED screen, you might want to check out this keyboard as it has a theme to take advantage of AMOLED displays. By only illuminating the letters, you'll get a really nice minimalist look while saving a bit on battery.

Download Chroma Keyboard here.
Minuum KeyboardThe display on the Honor 8 is smaller than what you might be used to. This keyboard can be compacted to a very small size and still be very functional. This way you'll have as much screen space as possible for messaging or browsing the web.
Download Minuum Keyboard here.
FancyKey KeyboardThis is just a fun keyboard with tons of really cool themes. I especially like that the themes will come with animations for pressing buttons. When I use my keyboard, little bubbles pop where my fingers are tapping. Pretty satisfying and unique way to use a keyboard.
Download FancyKey Keyboard here.
Fleksy KeyboardThis keyboard just has a very sleek look. The keys are very large and using it allows me to type very fast and accurately. There's also a gif menu that is very similar to the one you'd use on twitter.

Keep in mind that a port will never be possible because they are two completely different operating systems.
The one in the second post is HTC IME, which is a GREAT keyboard. I find it a bit ugly. I did mine (last modification was a few days ago). Here I post an screenshot. Is Gingerbread keyboard (concretely Keyboard from 2.3 by Steve Lin in the Market) modified.

wp7 keyboard have all I desire in keyboard:
Emoticon's key
Great prediction
Great precision
I never find all three in the keyboards of android
htc have the emoticon's key and precision,and swype have a great prediction but it isn't free multiling have a good prediction,but not at the level of swype.
Last question: i read very good opinion about the samsung's keyboard,there some apk for test it?
You should try out Thumb keyboard, is also has a WP7 skin and all of your desires (at least that's my opinion) and a LOT of options
You can find it here on XDA
There is also a beta for the next release, with text predicion after you type 1 letter, works really well, but is still a beta (and thus free to try for a limited time!)

Just installed this and it works great!
I just tried the HTC IME it was no good to me it felt weird because it didn't have multi-touch. Does anybody have one that supports multitouch
Hi Guys,
Want to suggest this keyboard, I have tried almost all the keyboards available and found this to be almost perfect, just a bit of setting and its almost equivalent to iPhone keyboard (the only best thing in iPhone )
A.I.Type Keyboard Market Link
To make it perfect, do the following:
1. Select iPhone theme.
2. Reduce the portrait mode height.
Pics Below..

Not yet, but we can probably add it easily. How popular are Android-based devices in Georgia?

Android devices in Georgia are very popular today. They aren't as popular as iPhone, but will be soon

I really like the letters

Does it support Swype function?
why is the memory consumption so high for a keyboard? wouldn't this kill battery life?

I will wait
P.S. ჩვენ დავამატებთ ქართულ კლავიატურას მომდევნო ვერსიაში . This is correct form
Swiftkey is much better. Both predictions and options (and looks for my part). Still nice keyboard though, but not the best.
its for those who prefer iPhone's keyborad
I am one of them..

Ok, good news. I had some time yesterday, so I added a Georgian layout. It will be released both for Tablets and phones in the next release.
Unfortunately, my personal Android device (HTC) doesn't come with Georgian fonts so I got squares instead of characters, but I believe it should work well on your Georgian device.
Follow our version updates. You'll get it soon (along with Thai, by the way. I added it too).
Thanks
Noam.
P.S. - the wrong Georgian sentence was produced by Google Translate, of course
anybody finding this keyborad freezing or lagging when writing at high speed ?
Have anyone tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652355 on your Atrix. This is really cool!! i actually love the HTC Sense 4 clock...and it look awesome on my Atrix. [Please keep in mind that this is NOT my work, i just wanted to share this with you, so if anything screws up...don't blame me!!!]

it actually works on other devices as well...i have installed the Flip Clock & Launcher in my Atrix...and its looking pretty awesome in my homescreen!! u should also give it a try.....[i didnt try the boot animation...so not sure about it]
The launcher doesn't seem to scale correctly and there are some other icons over the dock.

you have to enter in launcher setting, now dock settings, then tap twice any option and back to launcher
Change the dpi to 270 and everything fits perfectly. I'd suggest an app like LCD Density Modder Pro so you can apply a permanent market fix. For the overlay on the dock I'd say turn on Tint AB and put the AB Scale to 1. Doesn't completely get rid of the overlay but it definitely makes it less noticeable like in my screenshot.

I'm really happy with my Poco F1 so far, but I've been stuck with a little dilemma.
I prefer using the gestures, they're very neat. However, disabling the on-screen buttons to enable gestures causes the keyboard to get jammed all the way down to the bottom of the screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I have pretty huge hands and therefore it's extremely uncomfortable for me to type like this. I feel like my thumb is going to cramp up every time I need to hit the space bar.
Until now my solution has been to use SwiftKey in floating mode. That lets me raise the keyboard for more comfortable typing. But it causes a lot of other issues, since apps are unaware of how to handle the floating keyboard, I might end up typing behind the keyboard, also action buttons like "Post" and "Delete" will sometimes be hidden behind the keyboard.
I've tried things like raising the key height in Gboard and Swiftkey, but it doesn't help the extremely low bottom row. I'm looking for a keyboard that's capable of something similar to what the iPhone X(s) does. But I haven't yet managed to find any such keyboard for Android:
If anyone knows of a keyboard like this, I'd be very grateful.
The horrible typing experience is the only real gripe I have with the Poco F1 at the moment.
(And also the MIUI bugs, but hopefully MIUI 10 will help with those once it actually lands)
Try Smart Keyboard.

Thank you, this works quite well. I gave the trial a run for 10 minutes and bought the pro version.
It seems the app isn't that actively updated, but enabling the arrow row on the bottom and the padding makes for a far more comfortable typing experience than Gboard or SwiftKey.
Hopefully more updates land in the future, seems to have been about a year since the last one.
I'm using this

Chrooma Keyboard makes it little more comfortable. But I feel your pain fella...
I set dpi through dev option but problem is default launcher is zoom out and it back to default when restart
Same thing happen with Adb method.
Any help? Thank you!

I'm fine with Emui, but the widget are so... big, I guess by increasing DPI they would looks better.
Can you explain please?

The huge widgets are one of my biggest issues with Emui. The huge icons I can live with, but the widgets are downright horrible, and are forcing me to use a different launcher.
I hope it's a bug (and therefore can get fixed) and not intended behaviour.

I'm using the Microsoft launcher which I find really good, especially as I'm a heavy user of microsoft apps and services.
You need to install fluid NG though, as default gestures don't work well with other launchers... Provided you use gestures, of course
I like it too, I've used it years a go (Microsoft launcher)
Under Developer Menu there's a voice about
Minimum length doing =423
(Sorry for the translation, I'm with Italian language )
Maybe by reducing it we could obtain smaller widget too?
