Fastboot oem idme ?
- or -
Fastboot -i 0x1949 oem idme ?
You won't get a response if the bootloader is locked. Be sure to validate fastboot communication with 'fastboot devices' before issuing idme.

Best answer. Many thanks :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
So in my ongoing struggle to fix my ZenFone 3 Ultra, I think I've compiled a list of all the oem commands. I don't know what they all do or if they'll be helpful for anyone but I thought I'd post them anyway. And if you know of any that I missed, let me know! Thanks.
oem asus-go
oem device-info
oem enable-charger-screen
oem disable-charger-screen
oem off-mode-charge
oem EnterShippingMode
oem select-display-panel
oem check-fuse

oem get_SSN
oem check-unlock
oem reset-dev_info
oem adb_enable 1
oem uart-on
oem uart-off
oem dload_mode-on
oem dload_mode-off
The asus-go command is the unlock command, I think. But my device just says (bootloader) Fail to unlock device due to invalide signature! so I'm still stuck. (Long story short, the official apk unlock didn't work for me so I messed with the phone, screwed it up, and am now trying to dig my way back out.)

After you use the official tool to unlock the bootloader, use the fastboot oem asus-lock command to re-lock the bootloader,
then you can use the fastboot oem asus-official command to unlock the phone again, without downloading the official unlocking tool to apply for unlocking.

I've the same problem, restarting to bootloader and the phone is not showing up with fastboot devices command
Are you plugging your cable into the left side USB port of the phone? That's how I got it to work, you just need to pry off the rubber protector on it.

Anybody ever find out if this works? I can't get the tool to do it for me. No errors or anything just reboots and nothing changed over and over X at least 15 times now so far. But I do think I could have fastboot/adb setup working....

Is it possible to unlock rog 3 using fastboot method!
If yes then can you please explain how?
I got chance to lock it back from unlocked state using fastboot oem asus-lock but unlock never worked for me. Some ppl say you need to use tool provided first. 9.3 is the one which works for me. It wasn't until I flashed raw firmware first.
If anyone know oem command that can use on X01AD,
tell me plz, I need that.
(For example, "fastboot oem lock", "fastboot oem unlock")
Hi, I tried unlock oem to root my devies but when run command fastboot.exe oem unlock-go i get "FAILED (remote: 'oem unlock is not allowed')". The WeChat post tell that only way to unlock in newest ZUI is downgrade. Anyone success downgrade from 13.5.870 and unlock the bootloader ?

Hi there,
The response itself says that you have not allowed your oem to be unlocked. Turn on the Developer option, then enable oem unlocking and try again.
