good night, i have a problem with mi z2 im runnin aospa 6.0.1 but the camara does not work correctly, its too dark and sometimes cant conect with the device, i tried all the aosp based roms and it the same camera its not working, just work with CM 12.1 and stocks roms i have read all the information tha i can but dont find any solution if someone could help i apreciate sorry for my bad inglish

For me, it fixed autofocus issue when RazorReborn kernel was flashed on CM 13.0.
does it work on miui 7?, i hope it became fix auto focus on mine too

No, it was for the earlier stages of CM 13 when the camera wasn't working at all.

mmm, yeah. I will try your camera with snapshot 20160417 build later. Too slow internet speed here. For now, i am staying on official nightly besides waiting for official snapshot build from CM. Btw, good job bro, i use your camera as my default camera.

Just installed V2 on my redmi 2 running NX Rom 10.2 with berserk kernel.
my short review:
the quality is similar with NX ROM stock camera, not as good as miui stock camera.
maybe its source is from MIUI 5 or previous version.
if you having fc when using panorama, try to switch to professional mode than simple mode.
me also experienced fc once when using panorama for the first time, but when i switched to pro mode its working fine
even when i switch again to simple mode its still working fine.
cons is : cannot save to external sd card.

What CM13 snapshot do you are using? I cant find any snapshot in the repo.
This camera doesnt have hdr mode, i was kinda hoping that i would get the similar hdr quality as stock miui rom, but oh well...

This camera is not that good...if u could develop miui 8 camera to work in mm ROMs would be a great work.
One of my friend has ported a custom rom for Qmobile noir Z12, a clone of vivo 5 but with a camera bug.. he is trying to fix it and i hope he'll fix it soon..

of course nothings inpossible but when said developer made a custom rom without there beina an actual source it starts to seem less likely.. i am a developer to and ive never seen someone flash a rom over stock recovery unless it was an update and was installed using the update option on the recovery and on top of that im pretty sure the bootloader needs to be unlocked before install any rom/kernel. the version of vivo 5 is a pakistanian version with the same hardware and if the blu vivo 5 dont have it then neither will that variant at least thats what i think

I didn't say that he has flashed the rom over stock recovery.. May be he has made a custom recovery or the rom is spflash tool flashable.. he has shared some screenshots.. you can check your self.. its Qmobile noir Z12

yeah, he has ported many roms not only the touchwiz, Pacman etc.. Pure AOSP would be best.. you give it a try too bro

There are patches available for omnivison camera devices. Have you tried flashing that zip?

The only solution I know is to flash something other than CM Based roms , so basically it's either stock or LOS 14.1 Based ROMs.
