I found that the Vimeo for Fire TV apk works on Android TV, but it's only accessible via the sideload launcher. Would anyone be able to make it work with the leanback launcher and add a banner for it?
Here's a link to a post that has the Vimeo APK linked on it, along side some other Fire TV APKs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55687043&postcount=2
As I havn't poposted here much, I can't link straight to it or the APK :/
Edit: View this comment for the final, Android TV launcher compatible, APK: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68942961&postcount=3
Here's a link to the APK directly: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B75MOKtQ6NCYNkQzR1d2TzNzekU
And here's a link to the group of downloadable APKs from the Fire TV: http://d-h.st/zwS
Ok, I've modified the APK to show up on the leanback launcher and have given it a banner now, it works perfectly with any android TV device, apart from lacking universal search capabilities:

I used this tool to make it leanback compatable and to add the banner image: http://nvidiashieldzone.com/shield-android-tv/apk2tv/

Hi i was searching for the apk since i have a google tv box and I finally found one that will install Flash Player 11 for Android (11.0.1.153) this is the version I installed and here is the link to the website to download it. Well i just found out I cant post links so search in google adobe archived flashplayer. You will see a list of versions you can download. Go to the list that says android 2.x and 3.x then go down to this version Flash Player 11 for Android (11.0.1.153) It takes trial and error because some will not install and some will. I have the google tv blueray box. I will be trying other version in the android list for 2.x and 3.x Just email the apk to yourself then use the googletv box to download it
how to install DLNA on CM10 FXP135 i need to install gapps? give me links for this.
Thanks
Well, if you're asking about stock app SemcDLNA.apk, then you can't install it on cyanogen, because it requires stock sony framework. But in Play Store are some apps that can be helpful, such as: BubbleUPnP (the best I think), iMediaShare Lite. I've been using also Huawei DLNA apk, which worked for me on CM9, you have to google Huawei Apps, because I'm not allowed to add links in my posts yet .
Google Search is a powerful tool .
Hi,
I bought this player to watch DVB-T and DVB-T2 live tv, but the program that comes with box is no good. Every 10 sec or so picture slows down, sometimes less than 10 sec when there are sudden movements, also sometimes audio is out of sink.
Tried few programs to deodex apk's from firmware but I cannot install these apk's, mainly DTVPlayer.apk. I tried to install these apks in original firmware and on some other roms with same result. The apks that were odexed do not install just apks that werent odexed.
What I want to do is to extract apks that are used for build in tuner and install them on some better rom.
Please can you help me or suggest opinion, solution.
This is original firmware: mega (dot) co (dot) nz (dot) / #!McEHjKhL!LGfxgEXN-DID4s3shELsJXyZFZpJ5GNEZHrcw7fnlng
Can you pls extract apks necessary for DVB-T2 player to work on other roms and apk for remote control.
Thank you very much.

Hello,
I have been looking for ages for an a patched version (adfree) of Youtube TV (com.google.android.youtube.tv).
The only one I found is an older version of Patched Ad Free Youtube TV
For the latest version, there is an exposed patch Youtube AdAway released by Wanam. If someone with enough knowledge can help patch the latest Youtube TV apk that would benefit the huge base of Android TV users.
Thanks
Must Install exposed to use youtube adaway to path lastest youtube ATV?

Yes for the latest Youtube TV version 2.XX, you need to have Xposed installed.
Found any solution?
YouTube vanced works:

Is vanced using the ATV surface? Since most ATV boxes won't feature a "mouse-like" remote the original youtube app will be a pain in the ...
Why not newpipe?
Hello there.
I'm developing a custom rom and I want to add a link to my website on the Homescreen / Launcher (so users will be able to check infos and updates about the rom)
1st Method: chrome
I searched on google "how to add an .html file on Android launcher /home screen" and every website I consulted just adviced me to download Chrome and use it to add bookmarks on the home screen.
The problem is that I'm making an Android 2.3 rom and I'm working on a device with limited storage, I don't want to download and install Chrome just to make a link...
2nd Method: apk with webview
I know how to develop a simple app in Android Studio that just uses a webview to display my website, but I don't want to use this method too because Android 2.3 webview is obsolete and I included a modern and lightweight browser in my rom. A whole apk to just open a webpage would be wasted
3rd Method: ?
I believe there's a way to put links to any file on the homescreen! Especially if the rom (pre)rooted like mine. Can you tell me how to do this, please?
Thanks in advance
