[Q] cyanogenmod 9 on SAMSUNG-SGH-I747

Hello,
I have a rooted Samsung galaxy s3 (SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 ) and want to load cyanogenmod9 but I haven't seen any articles/posts on how to do it. Does anyone know of a way to do this for my specific model? Or does that even matter? Pre-emptive thanks for any help XD

Sorry, wrong forum! :silly:
@Mod: Please move this thread!
As far as I can tell, no one is working on it yet.
I will contribute what I can to help it happen. Can an interested developer share information on how this is done in general? Or maybe start an IRC where we can work on it?

None out yet and dont attempt to flash the International rom or you WILL brick your phone. Just need to wait it out, it might be a while though.
It's being worked on:

carrier
I forgot to mention that I am on at&t. Does that matter?
Not much. The LTE variants are very similar.
ATT OMEGA 7.0 phone won't turn on anymore
So I have an ATT S3 and I misread the thread and tried to install Omega 7.0 after rooting and now my phone won't turn on at all. Be careful of what you do. I'm screwed right now. Any help would be great !
I ran into the same problem and found the solution that fixed my phone here

[Q] Bricked Samsung Tablet :( [noob]

I have a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1. It came to me as a pt 5113. When I rooted it and updated the software to 4.3 using cmworld nightly it changed to p5110.
I wanted to downgrade because I wasn't able to use a lot of things and felt limited. However, my tablet won't turn off until it runs out of battery and I'm trying to just return it to the way it was before I tried to downgrade but it's not letting me. So I think it might be bricked. I don't know if it's a soft brick or a hard brick... I'm just so lost. Can anyone help me find how to straighten everything out if it can or provide me with step by step instructions.
Is there a way where I can just start fresh and just turn my tablet back to the way it was when I first bought it?
You might have better luck getting an answer in the Galaxy Tab 2 forums:

[Q] galaxy S5- cwm lollipop need help

Hey guys I have a Sprint galaxy s5 sm-g900p (NE5) . Rooted. And I rooted it a while ago and got stuck in a bootloop after searching for a long time I ended up flashing it with something a phillztouch recovery. But I don't remember which one it was. I want to update to a cwm lollipop built but I'm not sure which one to get. Can someone help me identify what rom I'm running and point me in the direction of a guide on how to do this. It would be greatly appreciated. As I'm still on kit Kat and would like to enjoy lollipop and cwm. Also I'd like to hotspot if possible, I had that working when I had an s4 but can't seem to find out how to do it on s5.
Thanks again guys much appreciated

Complete newbie, would like to update my rooted I9305

Pardon me for asking, but I would like some help with my Galaxy S3. A friend helped me root it a few years ago when I first got it, but I don't keep in touch with him anymore and I don't know how to update its firmware now.
I know it's rooted for sure as I've got SuperSU and Titanium Backup installed on it, but I've been on Android 4.1.2 for years now because I can't update it normally anymore. Everytime I look into trying to do so, I'm confused as to which method or files I should use, so I would really appreciate some help here.
Just a couple of queries first.
1) Is it possible to just update the firmware without any fancy ROM or anything like that?
2) Will I lose my data from doing so?
Again, please bear with me as I'm really new to all this and I might get some terms or understanding wrong. Thanks in advance.
