Their is no doubt the samsung keyboard is hard to match as far as word prediction / correction is concerned.
The Swipe keyboard is not horrible but it is pretty bad compared to the stock Samsung keyboard.
You can also try the Google Keyboard but it's still not as good
Google + Swift.
About google keyboard i have a little big finger and always i make mistake , and about swift and swype i think they are little slow and have big ram usage , but now i try swpe and swift.
Tnx for your answers @clsA & @itsrustlife

exatly, gesture typing and word corrections are the fastest
Google Keyboard is the one which can come near your expectations. It might satisfy you in the further update for word predictions.
As said by @Faheemarif252 it learns on day by day and improves itself.
I use google keyboard since it support my regional language in INDIA and word correction for the regional language is also good.
I agree... I use English and Roman Urdu (Urdu typed using English alphabet) and it learned my preferences quite easily.
Sometimes I can type more than half of the sentence just using its recommendations.
Sincerely hope it will get better with time as I had it for just over a month now...

Did you tried to longpress on any textbox, and then choose the input method?
thanks, very good
thankssss,
this keyboard is good although it isn't quite as effective as SwiftKey X which really spooks me out as I can complete full sentences just by hitting the predictions.
The thing that really does it for me is the fact I can start typing in english and then when I switch languages in the same dialogue for my French friends it considers both languages as one vocabulary without the need to press anything to tell it that I'm now plodding along in french.
I never thought I was that predictable lol!
Thanks,working great.

Hey people, I just want to share with you the new samsung keyboard from the new 2.3.6 rom that has been released earlier this week.
It will be awesome if we can get it here, or someone ports it to us, the most amazing thing in that keyboard is that it got a separate row for numbers above the alphanetics
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Its just swipe keyboard with that numbers because of bigger screen of note
Yeah, but it will be a great idea to have it in S2, I am sure our display can accomdate it.

hi there xda i have been using my awesome desire x for few months and found almost no issue at all but i found the stock keyboard troublesome i have a galaxy mini and am used to the keyboard with all smiley support and suggestions
can you please suggest me another keyboard ??:silly:
P.S. no GO key board tried it complete waste of time
thanx in advance :fingers-crossed:
I've used a few of them, but I always go back to SwiftKey. The predictive text engine it has is incredibly good, especially if you feed it your Gmail and Facebook data so it can learn how you write. It will soon have swype gestures any day now if that's your thing. Well worth the money.

Also, Swiftkey 4 is out including Swype function.

tried it doesnt work properly but swiftkey rocks :victory::victory:
I'm using Swype.
I was long user of swype but last few updates really slow it down completely (clean desire X and lags) so I went back to SwiftKey. Best so far. Tried using the version 4but I don't like the flow (in my language the recognition is very stupid) and laso the prediction system doesn't predict smileys and punctuation. So I'm back at version 3 and can't be happier

Worse than Swype, much slower and inaccurate than Swype. If you're a super fast Swyper then no need to install.
Little slower than Flow, little inaccurate than it.
Better than any other Swipe keyboard available atm on Play or elsewhere.

Pretty much agree with this. I'm not sure why the stock Google keyboard receives so much rave reviews. I guess maybe cause it's free, but it feels exactly like a stock keyboard and is rather feature lean. I find the keyboard sorely lacking in extra convenience features that the other big name keyboards have, like Swiftkey, Swype, or Touchpal.

Not about price, fanboys. If Google releases 'Google Underwear' kids will jump and think for a second it's real
Anyway, it's the engine, Swype is far ahead than anyone in that race, and as long as they are ahead no need to waste time on other keyboards, unless you're a tapper.

First, using a new apk, or flashing rom is not usefull, I tried both, the only way is a clean flash. (full wipe+ flash).so don't waste your time for that.
I think the problem is not with dr ketan's mod. I didn't install it yet and I have simillar problem. I strongly think it's beacuase of xposed framewrok. did you install xposed installer and run it?(just run, not even installing framework).
did you test note3 keyboard? does it work perfectly? (with xposed activated of course) if it works right, I think changing its dpi with xposed app setting would work.
btw, does anybody else has the problem of extremly thick handwriting ink when using stylus in sammy keboard? its normal when using fingers, but with stylus its thick. and I can't find any option for it.

I also like the Sammy KB because I prefer to have numbers up top and continuous input. I have purchased swype but it's let down by not having a top row.
Endless googling yesterday revealed that the google keyboard found on the PLAY store (which has a fairly good stab at "swype") can also be used with a top row. You have to go into advanced settings and look in the custom input style and chage that to PC.
Whilst it's a bit lob sided because it has the brackets keys on the right it's actually very good after a couple of uses.
Might not be the solution for everyone but until the Sammy one works again with continuous input I'm keeping it
I got the same problem with this think stripes at Sammy kb.....but I tried four different roms, always the same......and after a while, the kb crashes.....does anybody Know, where the settings for the spen thickness are?
It's hard, cause sammy kb is very important, if you want to write with spen, it's the best solution for this.....
