Hi,
I'm facing a peculiar problem with regards to the updates that applications receive from the android market,it happens as follows:-
I receive the updates notification,
->i press the update all button or individually update, it starts downloading,
->shows download paused
-> starting download,
->download paused
->then download starts and completes
->then AGAIN it shows starting download,
->then it suddenly shows INSTALLING,
-> then gives a notification of UPDATE FAILED.
-> if i touch the update failed notification it shows could not download to USB Storage or SD Card
this happens whether i select update all or single update, however i can download apps to my device, and uninstall and reinstall the apps which are not getting updated. I would like to state that my SD card is in normal condition as movies and movies play off it smoothly. I also tried restarting, Unmounting and remounting the card, but the problem is still there.If anybody has faced this problem and found a solution for it, please let me know. Thank you in advance
I too have this problem. I have found that on some apps you can uninstall first then move back to SD. If anyone has a better solution I would love to know

i dont have such problem, but my market always FC when i tap on the 'just in' apps tap. wondering what has happen with the market apps... =/
Try updating via LG software while connected to your computer through usb cable.
Perhaps, it's the common sd card mounting error, wherein, sometimes the sd card automatically un-mounts and remounts, causing phones to restart, fc for apps, etc.
Firstly, Thanks to all of you for replying to this post. Although i am still facing this problem, i have found a temporary solution to this, even though its not very elegant, its quite useful if you have to update system centric apps like android assistant, go sms pro, titanium backup etc.
->Move the applications which aren't updating to the internal memory,
->Go to the my apps section in android market
-> Update!!!
-> move the app back to the SD memory
Yes i know not as convenient as tapping "Update All", but till a proper solution comes out, this will have to do. Also hell1134 if LG android software is working for you, then you're ONE LUUUUUUUUUCKYYY Guy. Cos in my experience all it ever does is freeze up and suck osama balls. Very badly made software, Uninstalled it the MINUTE i discovered myphoneexplorer.
I installed yesterday this rom (version 5.2) on my Live with Walkman with stock kernel. It's very cool, but I have some problems with it.
1. Sync with gmail account is incomplete. Everything except the mail in sync. I have notification: "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." And that in the notification bar still pops up: "Permission Requested for account <my login>@gmail.com." When I click the notification will automatically disappear, and after some time it appears. - This problem already solved.
2. The Walkman application and galleries do not display any files, even though I have plenty of them on the memory card. But when I make screenshot or takes a picture are those already shown. I do not know what I mean.
Thanks in advance for your help .
Try Factory Reset-ing from CWM or Settings... (Had the same problem and solved)
can u view ur files anywhere else? like in PC or with a File Manager???
That normal...just reboot several time and it will be just fine...
you may also try downloading ScanMedia from the PlayStore. It worked for me a few times.
I can view and open images and music in Solid Explorer or Computer. Only in Gallery and Walkman nothing shows .
go to Google Play Store and download Rescan Media ROOT...its free and it will help you rescan all media files on you phone....
Rescan Media Root and ScanMedia didn't help .

reboot after each time you rescan the media....if the problem still persist then reflash will be your last option...

As our friend said : Rebooting will work.... :good:
If did'nt : Reflash
Factory reset helped. Thank you very much :>
I had the same problem and as you say the only way was a factory reset. However I chose instead to use a different ROM. In most cases GB seems to be less buggy.
My phone is Xperia J
and I found that after upgrade from sandwich to jellybean , I have these sort of problems
1) The pictures and musics will disappear automatically but few minute later will appear again
2) No matter what app after moved to internal storage , it'll be show me "Unfortunately , .......... been stopped" then the app couldn't be open anymore and forced to restart the phone.
May I know how to fixed these problem ?
I use Clean Master to clean my cache and now I constantly get "No Storage" error message whenever I try and access my photos under Gallery. How can I fix this?

Hello, some more details can help us understand your issue. Can you see the thunbnails on the Gallery? Which Gallery are you using? And can you access your SD card now?
According to your descriptions, there are several solutions may be working for this issue.
1. Could you please try to clear data of Gallery? This can be done by Settings - Apps - Gallery. After that, the database of Gallery should be regenerated.
2. Reboot your phone sometime may work on some devices.
If this doesnt work, please contact [email protected], and our developers will be ready for you to fix this issue. Dont forget to put [XDA Feedback] tag on the email title.
Hope this helps.

He is using stock sony album I think. Just a feedback. When i clean my ram via the app and i press clean, it just returns to the home screen of the app. Using 1Tap Boost to clean is fine though. Xperia P JB Moonbreaker 3.5
EDIT: This happened after updating your app.

I installed 36.0.A.2.109 yesterday (OTA update) and now something weird happened to my phone.
First I got a notification, “Corrupted SanDisk SD card”. That happened immediately after the phone rebooted following the update. It offered me the option “Erase & Format” and that seems to have fixed the problem. Fortunately I had nothing of value on that SD card otherwise I would have been pissed.
But that’s only half of the problem. When I plugged the phone into my Windows laptop, I can’t see most of my data in internal storage. For instance, I can’t see the folders DCIM, Documents, Downloads, etc. But on the phone using the File Manager app I can see those folders just fine. And in the Pictures folder I can see only 5 subfolders on my computer. But on the phone using the QuickPic app or File Manager app I can see 19 subfolders with hundreds of pictures in them.
What’s going on here?
(The phone is not rooted for what it’s worth.)
OK, got it to work. This is what I did:
Settings - Apps - All Apps - Show System Apps (from menu), find Media Storage app, clear data. Reboot.
Install media.Re.Scan app, do media scan.
I have a similar encryption bug too. I am experiencing a bug with my Xperia XA ultra. One week after the previous update, I decided changing my phone's screen lock security from pattern to swipe. It worked fine, but when switching again for swipe to pattern the system crashed. I have factory reset it twice. I have performed two system repairs using the Xperia companion and I have also flashed the firmware using the flashtool and every time that I go to settings - screen lock and security - and if I select pattern, pin or password, my phone crashes and I cannot unlock it.
In the meantime, I am just using swipe and it works flawlessly. Any idea why?
(I have also tried clearing the security certificates)
I guess that the firmware was corrupted
the vibration stopped right after the OTA update , didn't work even after resting the phone and reinstalling the software from Xperia Companion.
