Hi!
Is there a way to adjust the screen colours in some convenient way (maybe Huawei-style?). I don't mind installing ROMs, applications with root access.
EU version.
Thanks
probably just go for cf lumen
Settings, availability, vision, adjust screen colour.

Tried it, but that does not change the color temperature (at least I did not got it done).
Has anyone tried CF.lumen with the G5? (or is that a no brainer?)
THX
You should aware that stock kernel does not allow changing color settings with normal ways(CF.lumem, KCAL).
If you want that, try using a modified kernel that supports these functions(asgard or mk2000 kernel).

My settings app have been in Phone UI since the 4.4.2 update (still on 4.4.4).

Is there any way you can change it back to the tablet UI version (that was before 4.4.X updates).

It doesn't work well with Xperia firmware at the moment: it tries to use dark theme (I have to change the theme, since the default one is single-pane only. If I would use default one, the giant padding on left and right will be around each pane etc.), resulting in white text on white background.
Thanks for the replies,
But i do not have my tablet unlocked or rooted at this time.
Thanks anyway for the help.
I am on Sultanxda's CM13 rom + kernel and am having a great experience performance and battery wise, but this is something strange, the caller screen that comes when you call somebody or receive a call . Its ugly and its green. I tried installing google dialer from playstore but still no effect. Refer screenshot.:crying::crying:

If you want to change that "ugly" green color, do this.
Navigate to 'settings>sim cards' . There, select which color you want by tapping on green colored SIM symbol under the heading "SIM cards".

okay, I've searched google on and on for this but hadn't come across something CLOSE.
I've got a Micromax A116 with @aaryan45's Note 5 port

My problem is, with the stock brightness adjuster, the range is just too small. compared to an LG G3, the lowest brightness setting available is just too bright.
Please teach me how to change the range of brightness settings. I'll do anything except: Flashing a new rom/kernel, Installing 3rd party brightness apps(they just grey out the screen, and screen shots become messed up.)
Cheers

but they f up screenshots so hard
also, found a very very slight(no performance affected) (only typo) in the rom. Specifically in the air command option, "Detach S Pen to trun on"
While looking around, I have noticed a number of applications which allow for basic RGB, contrast, and saturation controls, but I have not found anything that could allow the global loading of something more like an ICC profile.
Many colorimeters and spectrometers compatible with applications such as displayCAL, allow you to test and generate calibration profiles for mobile devices, which can better account for any non-linearity in how the display reproduces color.
With this in mind, has anyone been able to load a custom calibration curve on an android device?
e.g., loading an ICC profile to make the following adjustments

So far compared to basic RGB adjustments, an application such as colortrue which can do a more in-depth calibration can bring out better results with more accurate colors.
I'm searching for a solution for years now. I had the same idea. Using displayCal with my spyder4 to fix the colors of my phone. How we can apply custom icc profile? Anyone that can help?
AFAIK Android Oreo and later provides new support for color management. Before Android Oreo, applications used the sRGB color space. There's a reason for this: low-end hardware.
Hi
Since I've installed oreo I see issues with black themes such as MINU's Black V2.
It appears at least in two locations.
1. Battery usage
2. Contact details
In first location everything is black/dark as should be but battery usage chart has white background.
In second location everything is black too but frames are white.
Anyone knows how to correct it?
I don't want use substratum/andromeda cause it needs PC connection after phone restart
