Hello dear devs, i believe you have more experience than me about this stuff. Since i heard kernel source code i mean updated one requires for Pie based ROM's, do you think Xiaomi will ever release updated kernel sources soon? Please let us know since a lot of people wants to taste Pie ROMs..
We don't need oreo source for pie roms actually, but it would be a newer source, maybe better drivers n'stuff? it could be different for other devs, but for me it's just an update

MiBOX kernel source code released

Hello all,
Is there any developer that still uses the MiBox? Is there any possibility that, with the current release of the kernel source code, we can expect a working Android TV version of a custom ROM? Like LineageOS, for example?
Source code here: https://github.com/MiCode/MiBox_Kernel_OpenSource/tree/once-o-oss

Regarding provide lineage os official support for our kenzo..

Lineage is the one of the most popular custom rom ..
Our kenzo last support lineage 14.1 ..
After get last support discount to official support..
So can't get after last update..
Unofficial support 17.1 are now available for kenzo
..
I contact
Lineage team .
They Tell me we are not received any request for official support.
So can't get..
So.
Any maintenar work for lineage
Give request and build lineage..
You can't simply request official support. Not from maintainer, not from Lineage team. Either use unofficial builds, or don't.

How to clone a kernel from CodeAurora?

CodeAurora lists lots of releases from Qualcomn in https://wiki.codeaurora.org/xwiki/bin/QAEP/release. `LA.UM.9.15.1.r1-05900-KAMORTA.0` or `bengal` is the codename used for the kernel in my Xiaomi Poco M3. However, how do I pick the kernel source for this release? Where is it? I cannot find it, I don't know how to clone it.
I tried compiling the official xiaomi kernel https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource/tree/lime-q-oss but it's broken. I applied some patches but there are lots of broken things, this kernel does not compile, and it's old.

yes but I don't want to clone a random kernel from some random place on github, I wanted one from codeaurora or xiaomi official repos
good luck fixing yourself - xiaomi always releases broken sources
