If you want to do what the debloat-delete zip file does, just flash the M4debloat 1.1 (backup) and navigate to "/system/" and delete the folder "__backup"
And youre good to go :good:

i face the same problem
i can backup but i can not delet error 6
I've tried "jevinruv_debloat" using TWRP but the apps are still there.
Maybe i have to delete them from "backup" folder; which file manager do you recommand to access to /system folder ?
Using "root Explorer" i don't see any "_backup" folder.
I'd really like to see these apps to be deleted...
Thanks.
Can you include Claro's Brazilian app? How can I get the names for you? Are they in some specific folder?

Yup probably it's on specific folder or/and it could have different package name.
You can try looking for it on these directories by using an explorer which supports root.
/oem/app/
/oem/deletable-app/
/system/app/
/system/priv-app/
/system/etc/product/
/system/vendor/app/
Or the easiest way you can use app that has ability to remove system app
Download link not working ? Thanks .

Hello all you Triple-Booters out there! I would like to introduce to you:
Convert2Dualboot-SD Tool
What is this you ask?
This is a little tool that I've put together that will convert any standard flashable roms for our Nook Color to be DualbootSD compatible. No more waiting on my lazy arse to update you guys!!! I used APK manager as a base for my script. I've written 3 different versions that will run on Linux, OSX and Android. All neccesary binaries are included with each version.
Click to collapse
Can I use any kind of flashable zips?
Yes and no. You could use any standard flashable "rom" or "gapps" zips only.
Click to collapse
How do I use it?
You drop a standard rom .zip into a "rom-to-modify" folder. Then execute a shell script that will give you an option to convert it for flashing to Primary or Alternate boot on the DualbootSD.
Click to collapse
Can I use any CWM Recovery for flashing?
Absolutely not! Only use the CWM Recovery that was included with the DualbootSD.
Click to collapse
Will you be updating this to add new features and stuff?
Not sure what features I can add, but you can always check the CHANGE LOG in post 3.
Click to collapse
Can you give us step by step directions on how to use this?
Of course! See second post for more details.

And that's all she wrote... well he, being me.
If I've helped in anyway. Don't hesitate to hit the thanks button.
Change log:
v1.4 (6/8/2012)
-Fixed gapps being zipped with rom when converting rom & gapps together
-Added SDCacheMount to converted roms (see the SDCacheMount thread for more info)
-Fixed mkimage binary executing error for Linux version
-No DOS update yet.... DizzyDen?????
-Thanks goes to xda user "shumash" for the SDCacheMount addition into the script
v1.3a
-Mkimage error on Android Script fixed.
-Mkimage is dependent on 'libmusl.so' which I did not include and linked in the tools folder. I overlooked this tidbit because I had "BOTBREW" installed on my system so it never complained about linking to it.
v1.3
-I effed up on the script!
-RASTAVIPER kept asking me about issues with his gapps. Apparently the mod for Gapps Alt Boot had the wrong mount points inserted into the updater script. NOW I SEE IT!
-Also in the DOS version. Prep of ROM Alt Boot had the wrong mount points as well. Sorry guys.
-It's been fixed and uploaded. Please don't use v1.2 anymore. Thanks.
v1.2
-Changed up UI layout of script: Please re-read README from post 2 above for edited instructions.
-Edited script to speed up mod process (Thanks DizzyDen!)
-Added option to mod both "ROM & GAPPS" on the fly
-Android version now has a tool.img file. This makes modding quicker and safer.
-Added DOS version ported by DizzyDen! (Thank you sir!)
-Modding for EMMC dualboot version in the works???? (That's if you guys want it)
v1.1
-Added gapps option
-Cleaned up some scripting behaviors
v1.0
-Initial release
Well.. after some thought, it really didn't make sense to release this without an option to mod gapps for the DualbootSD. I mean what good is a rom without gapps?!
Convert2Dualboot-SD v1.1 is up if anyone wants to try.
Check post 3 for all changlogs.
Thanks,
Racks
Taking advantage of the opportunity to try something new, I made a dual-boot card for my sister-in-law.
This is cool. I actually haven't tested the card yet as I have my device flashed to internal and have modded the recovery some. I haven't backed up any of the changes I made (I know, I know) and don't want to have to do it again.
I may try updating the card now that you've included gapps, though. I hadn't made a bootable card since I first rooted this thing, and to be honest it was by accident even that time. So I was wondering how to get gapps, was thinking about setting an alt-recovery just for that.
But anyway, I hadn't looked at how to do the gapps yet, maybe it was easier than that. But this seems even easier.
Cool, man! I bet the dual/triple booters will love being able to make their own updates. The experience I had last night couldn't have been easier. My wife got me and her sister the Nooks at the same time, I am excited for her to see what I have been talking about the last six months.
I will be sure to try this once my NC gets here. Thanks!
Racks,
Works great but there's an odd 0 byte file in the DB zip called ^[email protected] Is that an artifact and can I just delete it?

DB zip? Sorry, but what are you referring to with that?
And could you also let me know which one you used? OSX, Linux, Android?
Edit: That might just be the stupid __MACOSX hidden folder that osx likes to include Forgot to exclude that and the .gitignore file when zipping. Although they aren't detrimental to running the C2DSD Tool, you can choose to delete them if you wish.
Thanks,
Racks

Sorry for being vague. I meant the modded dualboot sd zip build. But I tried it again and it was fine, so let's say no more about it, eh?
On a related note, since you're so motivated now, how about creating those separate cache1 and cache2 partitions so that we don't have to wait so long to boot between the two?
Anyone who tried the new modding option and that would like to share with us which CM9 rom (nightly) did he convert and is working fine after conversion?

to keep as close as Racks' I will have a DOS batch file available sometime tonight...
True Windows GUI version will be available early in the week.
Keeping with Racks' desires... both will be open source and stored on his github... I use AutoIT for windows programming these things.

UPDATE: I converted the latest Mirage build, and when I tried to flash it, Recovery complained that it wasn't a valid zip file. Checked it and the same weird file was in the converted flashable zip. When I ran the conversion a second time, all was good and it flashed as expected. I had deleted all the extraneous _MACOSX and .gitignore file stuff prior to running it the first time. BTW, the problem in the quoted post was when I converted an ICS build the first time, too. Racks, do you think that there is something that occurs the first time the script is run that is different on subsequent runs that might account for this?
Just installed nightly 28.4 without Opengl and then gapps which appeared in the folder Primary Mod after conversion.
After that I cant get inside shop.I click to open it and it gets me back to main menu.
Any ideas?Reflashing of gapps didnt work.

Primary mod is for Primary boot. Default primary boot was CM7, so I'm assuming you formatted /system1 & /data1 before flashing?
Could you also unzip the contents of the converted gapps zip. And check the updater script. All /system variables should be /system1.
-Racks
I didn't format anything before flashing. I thought this as an upgrade, so after conversion I just proceed to flashing.
Finally, I flashed your own gapps that you have at your dualboot topic and now everything is back to normal.
Unfortunately, even after this upgrade, I still continue to deal with FC issues of mail, Facebook and of other random apps.I think there is some problem with my card and CM9, since CM7 runs perfect from emmc or from same mem card.

This is my first thread.......today i am going to tell you how to install xposed framework on ZenFone 5 lollipop without pc.........all thankx shakalaka and revo89
This method is for the people who have root and does not have pc or custom recovery and unable to install xposed framework
This method would work for x86 lollipop devices but tested only on ZenFone 5, zenfone 6 (tested by @leonardo_Irion
Prerequisite:
Rooted ZenFone 5 lollipop
1.Download file
Xposed v67
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lCHCvFdDJjMGFHSDF6TUNJM3M/view?usp=docslist_api
Xposed v78
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lCHCvFdDJjaEhvTUJLVnlKUk0/view?usp=sharing
For Lollipop 5.1
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lCHCvFdDJjRnJMSmhNOEU0azg/view?usp=sharing
2. Extract it
3. Install xposed installer from extracted folder
4. Copy all the files and folders except xposed installer to /data/local/tmp
5. Now open terminal emulator(its an app and can be downloaded from play store) on your phone and type the following commands
To install framework
su -c chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/installer
su -c /data/local/tmp/installer
Now reboot ur phone and open xposed installer and u can see that framework is installed
To uninstall framework
su -c chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/uninstaller
su -c /data/local/tmp/uninstaller
And restart ur phone and xposed framework is uninstalled
To update framework there is no need to uninstall previous one. Simply download newer version and follow from step 2
EDIT:If after installing xposed framework it shows that your framework is not acrive and inside framework section it shows is active then update xposed installer to v3alpha4(apk is uploaded below)
UPDATE: All links updated to latest one
Press thankx if I helped

This works on ZF 5 Lollipop with Intel® Atom™ Processor Z2560?
New version is out, so i've to download 'xposed-v65-sdk21-x86.zip' and 'XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha3.apk', and recreate the structure of your folder? Two questions:
-What're installre/unistaller files? Why i need them? Where i can find them? I can reuse them?
-In your folder, 'system' folder is the same of the one in 'xposed-sdk21-x86'?
And when new versions're out we've to do this again?

Installer and uninstaller files are needed to copy system folder in xposed sdk21 folder at its proper place
As this method is for the people who neither have access to pc nor custom recovery(flashing also needs pc) so installer and uninstaller files are needed

Yes, found it, installed, now i'm booting; after a bit of fear because it loads more time than normal, now it's optimizing apps, more time than normal :fingers-crossed:
EDIT: Done! but i've a doubt, if i open Xposed, under 'Framework' it says that it's not active, but if i tap on it, after the advice, it says Xposed Framework version 65 is active. It's normal?
I've rebooted again, it's making optimization again, normal?

EDIT:install xposed installer alpha 4 and this error will be gone

What are c-apps ?
https://cyngn.com/c-apps
Click the link to learn more
Requirements :-
C-apps package
Es file explorer OR aroma file manager
1) Install es file explorer (or boot to twrp, mount system in options, disable only mount system read-only and flash aroma file manager)
2) (Es file explorer users only) enable root explorer and mount system read-write
3) now rename /system/priv-app/dialer -> /system/priv-app/dialerx
4) similarly, rename /system/app/incallui -> /system/app/incalluix
5) (es file explorer users only) you may experience app crashes. Don't worry about them and reboot to twrp
6) flash c-apps package
7) (aroma file manager users only) mount system read-write in twrp options and disable the mount system read-only checkbox, then flash aroma file manager again and rename /system/app/incalluix -> /system/app/incallui (remove the x) and do the same to /system/priv-app/dialerx -> /system/priv-app/dialer (remove the x, do not change the case of the letters ! )
8) (aroma file manager users only) exit it and reboot to system
9) (es file explorer users only) follow step 7 after booting into android
10) (es file explorer users only) reboot your phone
11) now, disable these apps after booting into android (they do not work)
(I couldn't find the time to upload screenshots, coming soon !)
Edit :- screenshots added, check attachments
Truedialer works (partially, incallui doesn't work, dualsim works) but I prefer stock that is why I disabled it
Only use 1 dialer app or they may conflict !
Working :-
Cm account
Gallery
Email
Calendar
True caller service
Cm anti-theft
Screencast screen recorder
Etc etc
Audiofx is not working but maxxaudio tuner and audiofx are the same thing
Thanks, it works.
1. I couldn't find "disable only mount system read-only" in TWRP. Anyway, I flashed Aroma File Manager,
2. renamed said files, exited Aroma,
3. flashed C-Apps package,
4. again flashed Aroma, went inside /system to rename files, they were replaced by DailerNext and InCallUiNext, exited Aroma,
5. rebooted to system.
6. Found that stock apps have been replaced(Nevermind, I'm not fan of them anyway).
I followed TWRP procedure.

Yep, even I just noticed it. Omg. I'm really getting dumb these days. Thanks a lot.
hey guys hope u are doing fine , so lately there being this way to hide the system folder of a rom zip so u can't access the system/app or syste/priv-app so i really need to edit a rom like RN or lineageOS before flashing it , is there a way u can show me please ?
The /system folder is inside system.imgin the zip
Use 7zip to extract just that, mount the IMG with some kind of special program (windows doesn't recognise ext4 partitions) edit it, then put the IMG back in the same zip.
BTW, I came across a good tutorial on what you are trying to do some time ago. I don't remember if it was here, on XDA. Have you tried googling it?

Well, the way I see it, it's more work to modify the IMG than to use the recovery's file manager.
Also, an idea I had while typing the above, you can write a small script to automate the process. You can the run that script from the recovery's built-in shell.
I can help you with this.
Enable ARcore and other funky AR apps on stock rom
This little zip enables ARcore for the Asus Max Pro M1 stock rom
Tried and tested successfully on the ZB601KL variant (4/64)
Not tested on custom rom - will probably not work.
What works:
1. Latest ARCore
2. Measure App
3. IKEA app
4. Line draw app
5. AR Stickers modded (see below)
This is based on these two:

Steps (reproducing from @Stampyron thread with some modifications) :
Step 1. Download and install ARCore apk from here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/arcore/arcore-1-3-18060406-release/
Step 2. Install an app that use ARCore. If you're lazy, you can use this apk https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/googl...-anywhere-with-ar-2-0-0-android-apk-download/
Step 3. Open the app you installed in step 2 and let it crash. This will make the folders and files that we're going to use later on.
Step 4. Download the file named arcore_x00t.zip
Step 5. Reboot to twrp and and flash the zip file
Step 6. Reboot to system. Now you can use any apps that require ARCore!
NOTE: If you updated ARCore repeat step 3 onwards

(thanks to @Arnova8G2)
Explanation
@Arnova8G2 twrp zip is based on placing a file in the /data partition and renaming it as per the ro.build.product value.
However for stock ROM, the true value that works for this device is what is returned by ro.product.device instead in the system (different from the one in twrp), hence the modification is needed
The value in the fully booted stock rom is "ASUS_X00T_2"
And the second modification needed is to make the file name include "8.1" for latest oreo for this device.
Hence the file name now that works for this device in stock ROM is: "device_profile_ASUS_X00T_2_colon_8.1.textproto"
Enjoy!

Yes
Install apks linked here. Then, Just download the zip to your phone. It will come to your internal memory of the phone - in downloads folder. Check using a file explorer such as "es file explorer" or "solid explorer"
Boot into twrp, and flash this file.
Then reboot the system. Done.
Ps- the two apk for arcore are for different platforms. Our phone is arm64, so download that.

Dude
your data partition is encrypted, you can't flash the zip.
You gotta do it manually after booting into the Rom:
1. Look in the zip for this file
/arcore_x00t.zip/data/data/com.google.ar.core/files/device_profile_database/device_profile_1_colon_8.textproto
2. Copy it to this location with this name. Use a file explorer with root permission:
/data/data/com.google.ar.core/files/device_profile_database/device_profile_ASUS_X00T_2_colon_8.1.textproto
3. Go to a terminal and do these commands
su
restorecon /data/data/com.google.ar.core/files/device_profile_database/device_profile_ASUS_X00T_2_colon_8.1.textproto
4. Reboot.

Can i do this without pc?
I was on step 2 of your above mentioned procedure but there was no file as :device_profile_ASUS_X00T_2_colon_8.1.textproto
Instead there was : device_profile_ASUS_A002_1_colon_7.textproto
