Hi.
I bought my first tablet. It's a greek product MLS IQ Tab
I would like to ask if I can install another rom in it. I am not sure if I can.
The specs are:
ANDROID 4.1 Jelly Bean
2x1.2GHz Cortex A9
Dual Core GPU
8 GB ROM (up to 32GB with micro SD) // 1GB RAM DDR2
I am new to android, forgive me If I am at a wrong place. My experience with flashing roms is only with my smartphone (Oppo R819).
I wonder if this is the same procedure....
Can you recomend what rom could I install, please?
Any suggestions please?

Έχω ένα tablet mls iq8123c και θέλω να του κάνω ένα format επειδή κολλάει. Και εγώ όπως και οι υπόλοιποι δεν έχω βρει συμβατό cm. Μήπως γίνεται να μου στείλεις την rom του σε μια νεότερη έκδοση των android ή έστω την ίδια.

hi, i found a rooted IQTAB 7000. after loading the os it freezes in 10 seconds. factory reset does nothing. do you have the rom for this please? thank you
Eχω και εγώ ένα MLS IQTAB ιδέα τον γονιών μου να το πάρουν τώρα το έχουν γεμίσει virus που γίνονται ξανά install ακόμα και μετά από reset τις συσκευής.
Θέλω περάσω καινούργια ROM τελείως από την αρχή γιατί είναι πιο αργό και από χελώνα και για να καθαρίσει από όλα τα virus.
Πως μπορώ να δω πιο ακριβώς model έχω ?
Mπορεί κανεις να ανεβάσει κάπου την rom και το guide?

I think you wont succeed with a bricked tablet. the point is that the bricked device keeps disconnecting itself and the firmware cannot be applied. you need to go to your provider.

δες απο την αποδειξη ή απο το πισω μερος της συσκευης ποιο μοντελο εχεις. σου γραφει iq και μετα καποιους αριθμους. αυτο θα ειναι το μοντελο σου. μολις το βρεις pm να σου στειλω firmware Και τα απαραιτητα tools. απο θεμα οδηγιων δεν διαθετω να σου στειλω. ειδικα αν ειναι Mediatek ειναι πανευκολο.

generally mls firmware are very hard to find. it's a brand that cannot be found even abroad. even the dealers dont attempt to reflash a device and your device needs to go to mls straight up orelse it will be bricked if you dont be careful. 25€ the cost of MLS provider. if you need firmware try pm because i dont look at the posts so often.

Φίλε μου basteraki εχω το mls iqtalk 4g (iq1551) και θέλω να μου πείς αν γνωρίζεις κάποιον τρόπο να περάσω την TWRP ..Προσπάθησα με αυτή την μέθοδο https://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/how-to-root-mls-4g-t3473975 και τώρα δεν ξεκινάει κάν σε recovery....πατώντας τα on και volume+ ..Βέβαια αν τα αφήνω το τηλέφωνο ξεκινάει κανονικά...Το έχω ρουτάρει το τηλέφωνο με kingroot αλλά θέλω να το ρουτάρω κανονικά μέσω twrp...

δυστυχώς δεν γνωρίζω να σε βοηθήσω. το μόνο που έχω διαθέσιμο είναι η βάση της mls με τα περισσοτερα firmware της, της οποιας ειναι δυσευρετα. στέλνω τα firmware και αναλαμβανεται το φλασαρισμα εσεις. το κακο με την mls ειναι οτι σε καποια μοντελα εχει δυο versions και πολλοι δεν ξερουν ποιο απο τα δυο φορανε. και ειναι επικινδυνο να brickαριστει. απο οσο εψαξα το firmware σου δεν υπαρχει ουτε καν στην βαση ακομα.

Welcome. Well reentry I've noticed that Samsung Mobile Greece had commented to a user request for 4. 4 Android with the answer :we don't know where it will be released. Does this means that they have plans or something else??before that all the answers are :there are no plans for upgrade.

Η απάντηση τους πάντα ήταν ότι δεν έχουν σχέδια για ενημέρωση. Και ξαφνικά άλλαξε σε ότι δεν έχουν ημερομηνία άρα έχουν κάποια σχέδια

This is a stock based rom , and of course is clean and better than stock , as you can read in changelog.
Also i fixed GPS , now is fast and accurate without needed of any uncle tools or EPO download , gps working like it isn't an mtk device.
But move to sd feature is not supported on this phone.
You can move ( link ) apps to sd only by partitioning your sd card and use link2sd from playstore.
But i will try to do some changes to kernel for changing default option from internal sd to external sd , i hope i will not brick my phone by doing this , but i will try it ( not now but i have it in mind , i own this phone only 20 days , i need more time cause i want to make some ports also ).
I'm sorry for late answer , just now i saw that question and answer thread.
In a couple of days i will release a miui v6 port for A328 .

Yes, you're right I 4pda.i I problema.na stock I do not even support init.d your boot.img.V what could be the problem?

Are you using my boot.img ??
If you are using my boot.img it supports init.d but you must do also changes to updater script to make init.d work.
Download one of my roms Flight A328 , A328 Emui3 or MiuiV6 and check out my updater_script , you will find two lines about init.d , add them to your updater script and everything will be fine , or you can use my updater_script from Flight A328 if you want it for making a rom based on stock.
I'm glad to speak with you , i saw that you made some good job for A328 , maybe i will use some of your work in future , giving thanks and gredits of course.
I own this phone just 45 days and i'm still searching things , you and other guys on 4pda ru forums made a lot of work and help me a lot with some fixes on my MiuiV6 port and i would like to thank all of you.
I made also some Fixes for GPS and Bluetooth , if you want to know what i did , i will be happy if i can help you with these Fixes.

Did you have busybox in your rom ??
Without busybox , scripts will not work.
I can't really understand what is your problem , for me init.d works for all of my roms.

Yes, it is. Now I put your firmware and it does not start. Eternal restart. I do this: wipe cache and data, installation of firmware.

This is weird , Flight A328 works for all people , nobody told me something like that.
Follow the installation procedure at first post ( wipe data , flash the rom , wipe dalvik and cache , reboot system ).
If it doesn't boot the problem must be somewhere else.
Please ask 4pda users if anyone else has problem with Flight A328.

today did so: all wipes are made in addition to flash cards and reload rekaveri ask. All run, everything works. Snapper good firmware. But do not run scripts init.d.Threw a test script, I put the 755 resolution and reboot. Unfortunately, the file is not found, which was supposed to appear after working script.

Yes , it's very fast rom and snappy but i'm sure that init.d scripts run.
What is the 755 resolution ????
If you mean that you add a test file in init.d folder and you gave permissions 755 , then change permissions to 777 to work.

Actually i did it right now.
I just flash Flight A328 and i did a test to see if it works.
Check screenshots below ..
I add a test file ( 00test ) by Ryuinferno to init.d folder , i change permissions to 777 , reboot phone and the "Test.log" file in data said that init.d is working , so i can't understand why do you have problems.

Hello, im using TWRP 2.80 to flash the latest flight but after done flashing all it do is just keep restarting at logo screen that says "Lenovo for those etc etc etc..." (not the default lenovo logo) I can flash Google AOSP and MIUI ROM just find though. Any idea?

I'm using the same twrp version.
Did you flash the rom without external micro sd ???
Rom is working fine for everyone , i can't understand it.
And i didn't change any logo , is like the stock rom.
Try a clean install again please , you must not have boot problems with this rom.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVING BOOTLOOP PROBLEM WITH NEW FLIGHT A328 150708
Problem solved.
Flash firstly the previous rom ( Flight A328 ).
Then reboot your phone.
When phone enters PIN screen , turn it off.
Enter TWRP again and flash the new update ( Flight A328 - 150708 ) without wipe data .
When installation finish , wipe cache and dalvik.
Reboot system and everything will work fine without bootloop.
Enjoy !!!

This is a thread for my "MAYBE J3 Hybrid" heavily debloated ROM intended for people that want TW with basic features, great performance and battery life.

ISSUES ON CAMERA APP DUE TO J3 CAMERA INCLUDING SPREADTRUM RELATED FEATURES GIVING FC
BUILD.PROP WEIRDNESS (Grand2 Only Bug)

Oh and also you need a computer and follow the instructions down below carefully

Instructions:
Now you downloaded both(test build and g2 patch), nice!
1. Make a folder and extract the test build inside
2. Delete "META-INF" and "s3ve3g" folders inside the test build folder
3. Now, extract the patch folders inside the test build folder
4. Repack to .zip
5 Connect your phone
6. Add the repacked .zip you've made in your phone
Nice you've done the hard parts now let's go to the easy part
7. Reboot to TWRP
8. Backup your original ROM
9. Wipe data, cache, dalvik/art, system
10. Flash your zip you've made
Done? now reboot system
This ROM might get stuck on splash screen with the blue blinking light. If so tell me ill make new build.prop for your device

Maybe i can try rebase to qualcomm J3 and have Spreadtrum J3 apps in it. This might help but ill see.
EDIT: Finally ill keep J3 Base still.

Theme store appears but my ROM for now does not have wifi working. I fixed wifi in post builds for S3 Neo but vibration issues occur(which is hard to fix). Anyways i tried after fixing wifi the theme store and works as expected but it requires samsung account when i hit download that i dont wanna make ?.
That theme which is on the screenshots is downloaded from XDA and works flawlessy like other themes.

Have you followed the instructions carefully?? Remember the grand 2 patch is not a flashable zip!! You have to do some stuff before having it ready to flash
Also, what happens (stuck atsplash screen, buttons light on bootanimation but nothing happens??)

Please, many G2 users reported bootloops. If possible send logcats i cant do anything without knowing the issue

Its not kind of bootloop actually
Let me tell you in detail
The rom goes to boot animation and at the last age the screen gets dim and the captive button lights up and it goes on and on and about the logcat i wish i could help you but i dont have pc now :/

On S3 Neo it boots like a charm(as i have an s3 neo and ive tested my rom billions of times) ill try my best to bring to G2

@Bungeejumper i checked your logcat but i cant find anything wrong happen. Your logcat stops while it starts messages app i would agree if it stopped at google play services. Ok thanks for your logcat ill check some stuff on S3 Neo now, maybe ill create a new patch but uploading on GDRIVE is painfully slow.

Sorry for the delays?. I focus very less time on this ROM now but i did a few progress?
- Done J320P build "s3ve3g only" (I will test soon...)
- Decompiled camera app, not alot of things edited. When im done ill release an experimental camera app
-Worked on a new G2 Patch. Now build.prop is fully improved and cleaned. (Only Grand 2 LTE done for now)

So i built S5 Mini kernel for S3 Neo buuuut for some reason splash logo(S3 Neo logo) turns purple and reboots. Now i contacted some devs if they know the cause but nah, no answer yet
Of course its needed to be combined :b
I killed IRIS Radio driver as kernel wont build even with J5 2015 ones and VoLTE wont work too!
Any news for TW-NN for J5 2015???

Yes GraceUX looks very weird on S3 Neo due to its old body but not as terrible as these weird themed ROMS for S3 :b.
Yes, it needs alot of work to make TW-N stable.
Touchwiz Nougat ROM still has FM-Radio.
I was planning to port TW-Nougat to J5'15 but i dont own the device.
As ive seen you hate VoLTE spammers alot(im with you).
S3 Neo doesnt have VoLTE yeeii XD.

Radio module is built inside the KERNEL, system reads it and loads it up on each boot. It actually works
