Has anyone successfully imported this feature on to the G5?

Hi,
I'm looking for an app/solution that allows me to stream a real time video between to phones, without internet dependency.
The two phones will be close ( max 6 meters ), and one will send a video to the second one, like a streaming of the first's camera view.
I searched for some solution using bluetooth, but couldn't find nothing.
Does anyone knows how can I do this?
Thanks!
Does anyone knows a app to use on an Android phone to use it like a webcam with quality?
I had a Nokia N8 (Symbian), and I had two apps that made the N8 a [email protected] webcam
But now I have a S4 4G (I9505) and after some days searching and testing apps, I still didn't found any app that could go higher than 720x480 and all of them get horrible FPS (like less than 15)
It can be by wireless or USB, both work for me, I just want it to be at least [email protected]
Am I allowed to bump? it was alreadly on 5th page with no reply :/
hey guys,
the qickremote app on my d620r (sw official 5.0.2 V20a-EUR-XX) is rather limited. the only things it allows you to control are tv, blue-ray, and dvd.
however, i have seen screenshots from other lg phones (for example g2) which show much more functionality (like controlling a set-top box, audio, etc., and even an option "universal remote", whatever it is).
i have tried installing other remote control apps from the play store, but none of them seem to work for the g2 mini.
i also tried to install the apks from the g2 and g3, also without any results.
so here come my questions:
has anyone more functionality in their quickremote app than i do?
has anyone managed somehow to port this app from another lg phone with success?
has anyone encountered a 3rd party ir remote app which actually works?
thanks in advance!
The IR blaster only supports the things you see.
Plus, it is locked to only support the stock app (Quick Remote).
Hello there,
I looking for alternative to application Perch because since February 17th it is no longer available. Perch was simple home monitoring system that can record video from smartphone camera and all was available to view remotely from another phone or website.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.getperch
I need similiar functionality so one of my smartphones will recording video on stative and another smartphone will get notifications about motion detect with access to show recorded video or live stream.
Can it be possible with some app or kit apps?
The reason it was removed is that it is found to be insecure and all apps that do the same offer the same vulnerability.
Hi. I haven't used my Daydream View in a year or so, but I recently dusted it off to play Virtual Virtual Reality. The experience still holds up pretty well BUT I noticed that I can't stream it to a Chromecast anymore, which is a shame. One of the main selling points for me was the ability to share the experience with friends via Chromecast
I can still cast my entire screen to a Chromecast, but that's laggy and the image is obviously stereoscopic. I've tried on 3 different Chromecasts and they just show a blank screen when I cast from within the Daydream app. Can anyone explain why? Is it because the Chromecasts have been updated and lost that functionality? Is there a fix? I'm using a Pixel (1) XL if that matters
