You have to flash it via TWRP. For that you have to unlock bootloader and flash twrp.

7. Open the ICShboot_Toolkit folder and run the Install Boot.img.bat
here boot.img.bat with code
call fastboot flash recovery boot.img
Click to collapse
MEANS THAT THERE US NOTHING LIKE BOOT FILE...WE'RE JUST INSTALLING A KERNEL IN RECOVERY PARTITION??right?
And what's boot file ? Never heard such thing as boot file.
As explain by neXus PRIME - boot.img is the image of boot partition, containing kernel (zImage) AND ramdisk
Part 3 - Installing boot.img and booting your DX
Installing boot.img - as per item no.7 (JB boot.img on ICS hboot - we flash the boot.img to recovery partition)
booting your DX - as per item no. 8 (Press Power once to go to hboot and select Recovery to boot your device)
So... what's the problem actually ??

Yes, you have boot image on boot and recovery partition.
Now when you boot normally, it uses boot from boot partition to start Rom, and when you reboot to recovery, it uses boot from recovery partition to start rom.

Hi,
I was flashing the CWM recovery from a link given in this forum on my lenovo a6000 with the command
fastboot boot recovery.img
it gave me an error
downloading 'recovery.img'...
OKAY [ 0.301s]
booting...
FAILED (remote: dtb not found)
finished. total time: 0.316s
Then i searched on internet and found another command to do the same and that was
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
It did write the flash image to the phone. But since then the phone is not booting. It's stuck on the screen "Lenovo Powered by android" cannot attach image because this is my first post. I left the phone for an hour but it's stuck on the boot logo screen.
Then i downloaded twrp recovery and issues this command
fastboot boot recovery.img
It rebooted and went into the twrp recovery menu. I had already downloaded stock rom earlier as a flashable zip file. So i copied the flashable zip to the external sd card using adb push, i then navigated to this zip file form twrp recovery and started the flash process. Evrything completed successfully. I then cleared the cache/dalvik cache and rebooted the phone but it's still stuck on the boot logo screen.
Please help if anyone has encountered similar issue.
I tried various unbrick solutions on google none of them are definitive.
Me too please help us

Flash the rom file by flashtool
Dexteramit I would like to tell you about some fastboot commands
Fastboot boot recovery.img
By using this command the recovery.img is copied into temp memory and the phone gets booted up to the respective recovery. This won't permanently flash the recovery.
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
By using this command the recovery.img is flashed onto the recovery sector of the phone. This will permanently flash the recovery.

For the unlock link. I pulled that app off the realmebbs from China. I've used it to unlock the CN version and someone else reported that it worked on the non-CN version.
Not sure about the TWRP, I'll probably give it a test now that my BL is unlocked.
