I know stock 2.2 can install app on sd,
but how could I force them to do it everytime I install if they can?
And is there anyway to move them easily to sd instead of doing it one by one in the application setting?
by installing on sdcard, does it has any advantages except saving the internal rom space? (like faster if I install them on class 10 sd)
In the stock application setting, it is so sloooooow to get into and check each apps permission. Is there any way to check the permissions for all the apps easily?
I have almost 100 apps and want to check if there r any apps that uses more than enough permission. ( I check every time when I install, but still want to check it again =D )
bumpbump..
use android injector
i'm no longer able to download apps from the market.. my phone gives a warning like, "storage limit reached".. or something like that. how do i fix this?
Move some apps to your sdcard or dekete them.

how do i do that?
go to menu setting applications and click on some apps you downloaded and there should be serveral options one is clear data uninstall and for apps that are compatable there should be a option on move to sd or download a app called app2sd but the probably wouldn't work until you move some app there in the first place..
Is there a list of apps that can be disabled for this phone?
Don't we need root?
Not an iPhone.....
Just go through the list, its lets you do quite a few of them in app management
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
Can someone give me a list of what they froze, I think I got most of them but stuff like Music Hub, Music Player, Viewdini, VPN Client, Zappos I have no idea about
I have only removed the bloatware from one other phone (HTC incredible) and the process went like this:
1. Open root explore and go to system/app
2. Change from read/only to read/write
3. Select the apps from the system/app that I want to remove
4. Move those apps to a new folder that I named app.disabled in the system file.
Does this same process work the the Note 2?
Wyatt W.
Edit: nevermind, just used TB to freeze apps
Works well, especially as it requires only root and a good file manager [e.g. ES].. I had been dependent on tools like TB before your post. Thanks for the lesson.

Fix for Google Play/market “Unknown error code during application install:’-24”"
This error usually comes up when you are trying to reinstall an app and it fails to install.
*Requires Root*
Go into Data/data and find the folder/file referring to that app and delete it
Also go to Data/app-lib and do the same (if it is there).
Chances are it is probably only in one location but check both. Usually what this will look like is a bunch of folders in there and the one you are having problems with will look like a file instead – regardless delete the folder/file for that app and then go to google play and it will install.
Also this will work for most TB issues as well but you may have to download the app and restore data only, I have had some work back restoring the app and then restoring data but more luck with just a fresh app from the market.
Many people have reported that this also works for them, just wanted to add it to the help and troubleshooting section.
Working solution of error 24
Method 1 (Sure Fix but requires root):
Install a file manager like Root Manager
Browse to internal storage android/data/com.whatsapp
Delete the com.whatsapp… folder
Now install whatsapp from Google Play

Thanks I fixed mine, my "-24" error came up after I try to restore my GS3. In order to get the install to go through you have to delete the existing folder of the associated app first
Root Manager > Root/data/user/0 > find any app folder you are having trouble installing (the name is either by app name or maker's name > confirm & delete.
try to reinstall the app from Play Store and it should work. (In my case I think it's because i have a list of apps from my other acct and during the restore session somehow the Play Store was confused and couldn't verify the app install.)
thanks worked fine.
i face this issue whnever i clean dalvik cache thrugh Link2SD plus
Disclaimer
Although there is a small chance, me or not anyone is responisble if you proceed with this. We do not take any responsability for any bricked phones, dead sd cards or anything else.
*In case of low memory, you will still get an error on the Google Play Store. Because the Play Store doesn't know that you have made this change so it will scan the internal memory instead of the SD Card, so in order for this to work you need to clear your cache which always helps alot for temporary memory increase and or find a way to free the memory until it gets to the required free space.
How?
We will use the "pm set-install-location" line to make the device install all the applications from the Google Play Store to the SD Card.
Let's begin!
1.You will need to have root and busybox installed.
*How to root:* http://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/development/bl-locked-twrp-touch-recovery-bl-locked-t3257430
Busbox will be installed when you root
2. You need to go to the Google Play Store and search for "Terminal Emulator Android" or follow this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=ro
-Now, after you install it, you need to give it root permisions, you can go that by launching a new terminal window and typing: "su" (without the brackets), then SuperSU will ask iff you want to grant or deny acces (You want to grant that).
-Now you will need to insert the following: "pm get-install-location" (without brackets).
0=Automatic/1=Internal/2=External (SD-Card)
-We want to set the location to External or 2, we're going to do this by typing this: "pm set-install-location 2" (without brackets).
-If everything worked fine you shouldn't see any visual response (a line that says that it succeseded), and if everything was fine you need to proceed by typing "exit" and then "reboot".
If everything worked well every app from the Google Play store should be installed on your SD Card.
Method 2
In order to make this work you need the following:
-Xposed Installer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/xposed-how-to-install-xposed-rooted-m4-t3199419
-XInternalSD module: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.pyler.xinternalsd
-OBB on SD module: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartmadsoft.xposed.obbonsd&hl=en_GB
How?
We will use Xposed Installer to actually make everything install on the SD Card (a high performace card will be useful). Follow this guide if you do wanna contiune.
Let's Begin!
1.Install Xposed and all of the other components required.
*Make sure all the modules are activated.*
2.Open XInternalSD and change the path from the install location to "/system/sdcard1" (without brackets), and tick everything (if you want ALL the apps including system apps tick every box and reboot).
Now you should be done!
What do you mean by installed in the SD card, the OBBs too?

This is meant to change the location where the applications from the Google Play Store install. And as long as the obbs are downloaded at the same time as the application itself and not like Real Racing 3 or Asphalt 8 which download the obbs and extra files after the app is installed then yes, all the app should be installed on to the Sd Card. If you want all of your Obbs to work on the Sd Card you have to have Xposed Installer and the module OBB on SD from the Google play store

You didn't grant the root permision, either type su and grant the permission or go to the SuperSU app and change from deny to grant
That's how it should appear if everything went well (instead of 2 you would get 1 or 0)
I did, permissions are given
Is this a "hook" for the "insufficient storage"? If i don't have enough free space on internal but i do on the external.
still says insuficcient storage when trying to install apps from the google play store
EDIT: okay i need to get the internal memory free first... and theeeeeeeen there is whatsapp downloading all received and sent pics, videos and voicemails on the internal storage ^^
My E2303 won't install the Apps directly to the SD Card, but now i got by every App the option to move the App to SD Card. So very better then before but an automatic install to SD would be very nice. :good:
A new method was added, go ahead and have a try!

pm get-install-location will tell you the location of where the apps will be installed
It will reply back with a number 0, 1 or 2 "0=Automatic/1=Internal/2=External"
you need to type
pm set-install-location 2 to set the install location to the sd card.

Woah. Did I just miss that? sorry and thank you.
No problem. I too make simple mistakes like that when trying something new with my phone.
Hope you've got it sorted.
I've just setup adoptable storage on the missus M4 aqua but this looks like it COULD be a better option, if the adoptable storage fails or doesn't work correctly. I would set it up now but I'm thinking it would be better once she has her phone with all her apps working and installed, that way IF the 8gb on board storage is filling up I can just move around apps and free up what I need to for her phone to be working properly.
Right adoptable storage has now broken one of my micro sd cards even though it was working 100% fine the other day... Could be the ROM I don't know, but I have now tried this method and it just doesn't work I'm using MM and I've cleared the google play store cache and I'm using e2303 but its not doing anything... Still installs like normal on the internal storage

Just to follow up have tried both methods with no errors - it just doesn't work
Problem with "app on sd card" error
Tried the first method, rebooted, went back To terminal emulator to see if changes were saved, it send me the "install location 2" when I asked. So I launched play store, but still got the "insufficient" memory, so I cleared the cache, even downgraded play store to factory, rebooted, and still got "insufficient memory". So I decided to try the 2nd method, installed xposed, and when xposed made me reboot, I had an "application on the sd card" error and I'm not able to get them back on the internal (even xposed have this error). So Tried to reistall it and terminal emulator, but every app I try to install send me "application not installed" error.... Any idea of what went Wrong ?
