No space left on internal SD card partition - Xperia Z5 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
after the latest upgrade (32.2.A.0.305) a couple of days ago, I noticed that the free space on the internal SD partition is almost out. I hae not rooted the phone.
I don't have that many apps installed, but still the Settings/Storage page look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Also, the app Solid Explorer states the following:
What has happened and how do I get my space back?

[Q] Unable to mount phone to pc

This probably explains why I can't save photos from stock cam to ext anymore, nor does the movie app see all my videos. So I said, hell, best time for a repair or maybe I can finally work on unlocking my bootloader and trying a custom rom? Nope. Because the phone no longer mounts to computers at all. Balls.
Help, anybody? Phone and ext card are perfectly fine with other apps. I just can't figure out why it no longer mounts as usb, nor can I figure out why the camera and movies apps can't see it.
Tapped on a not-so-stock ST27i ICS.
Didn't know framework had anything to do with this one. I got the Z one modified for the XGo, and the options are back. It mounts as well. This is peculiar. Before this the last thing I flashed was St. Octane.

[Q] Link2SD Misunderstood or What ?!

It's not a problem really, but I just don't know what it is.
Isn't link2SD supposed to move the apps to my second partition on the SD card ?
Well it does move them successfully, because in Settings ==> Apps I have NOW a lot of space free.
Take a look at this screenshot below. All the apps are in data/app and not on sd card, can someone plz explain to me what is happening "behind the scenes" because right now I'm confused.

link2sd fools the system into thinking the second partition is its internal memory so they will show up in data/app but if you scroll further down to data/sdext2 you will see all yor apps are there which is you second partition.

Why does my storage list UsbDriveX?

This has been bugging me since my d3 days. Why do my file explorers list USBDRIVES?
I've had this microSD card since myTF101 days.
Anyone know how to get rid of it?

These are the system mountpoints for USB drives. If you connect a flashdrive to the USB connector, it will appear at /storage/UsbDriveA. I use FX File Explorer, it doesn't list them on the main screen unless something is mounted ( of course they still appear if you look under the /storeage directory ).
Good to know. I thought they were physical locations on my external sdcard or something.
Thanks.

What device are you using?
Some devices use sdcard1 as the mount point for the extsd.
Check for a mount called sdcard or internal.
If that is your external, then it's gonna be empty until you move app data to SD
Do some research. The directory where most apps are installed is not available to the user without root access.

Run out of Storage after updated to android 10

As I recently updated my Samsung A10 phone from Android 9 to Android 10 first thing I experienced that my 32GB strorage is almost full. I Mainly use SD Card for media and documents. So, I went to investigate to see what's happening.
& looks like, a lot of things I don't understand are using the space.
these two screenshots are from 'My Files' native app of Samsung. All the files and folders in Internal Storage accumulated as 2.21GB but other says Used 30.49GB out of 32GB.
Now for settings,
System Memory 8GB
Photos & Videos 5.6GB
Games 2.3GB
Mobile & TV Apps 0MB
Others 7.2GB
Total 23.1GB
but available space is 1.5GB
though I can ensure that there is no photos or videos in Internal Storage other then these 4 screenshots.
What's gives???
