as far as I know the EMUI camera will never work on CM13
If you want a better camera their are dozens on the play store that work with CM

Its here one official work in CM ready but have bugs with save takes photos and CAM delete this app auto

When i open the official camera app,it say "camera is not available".But when i open the otherl camera apps,the camera can work!So,present situation is every camera apps can work except the official app!What‘s the problem of my camera?

Try ro replace original camera app with working one (from other ROM). Maybe the app is just broken
I've had this issue before. Try go to Settings > Manage applications > All > Camera or SemcCamera something like that, then select "Clear data". That should work, if not you'll have to reflash your ROM. Seeing that other camera apps work out for you, it's not a hardware issue so you don't have to worry about that.
You could try out Camera ICS on google play, it works fantastic and the developer's an awesome guy.

Im currently running on Lineage 14.1 and im not that satisfied with the cyanogen camera. So i tried installing the google camera instead. But the issue is that whenever i switch between video and camera the image gets stretched and the camera goes to landscape mode. Tried all the Google camera versions there. Can anyone post a flashable zip or a working Google camera apk?

I'm using the stock gapps package from opengapps, it replaces all the AOSP/CM/LOS apps with the google ones including the camera. Works perfectly fine.

Probably ported Google camera but I've not tried it.
This is a great source for downloading the Pixel apks, I'm trying with these settings now.
Will the Google camera app ever work for our device?
If yes, how would it because i have constantly tried many versions of Google camera but none either including the latest HDR+ mods.

Used the Camera2API enabler. Even then it didn't work. Is there a way?
I have the same problem,works only on version 4.1,and that without hdr+,if someone is porting the latest version of Google Camera on our device,it will work,but without hdr+,because our smartphone does not support camera2api. ROM:LOS 14.1

As far as I know, SD62X processors don't have a codec or something (I don't remember exactly), it's hard to port it.
Managed to install Gcam 5.1 from BSG,hdr+ does not work, app crashes when choosing a model for the hdr+

I've been searching for the same type of camera and tried some but any has given me the same quality than stock
after going through multiple apps, I would say MWP and other gcam mods are best option.

Hi there, recently the Gcam was updated to 8.7 version with some new options but as you may know the last update the Pixel 3 has is the 8.3. I've been looking for a mod of the 8.7 that works with the office but no luck at all. Every APK from the modders team closes instantly after opening the app. Is there any version that you have tried that actually works?
