According to the mods on the Moto forums, it has not been released anywhere yet. Yet all the forum kiddies that can't wait are getting their posts locked left and right because they keep posting that they can't get it.

It cant be ported just like that, nor will the 2011 phones be able to run it. Its not android, its a brand new operating system.
Wrong thread..its development section not discussion
Lol...there is already 2 threads in general forum about the same topic.....search before posting anything....
Dev forum is not for discussions...

You guys have fun. I'm done here.
What's up with that? Keep in mind most of the frustration for this devices forum is due to three variants being stuffed in one forum....those international guys....well you know

Thread Closed - Goodbye threads are considered off topic and aren't relevant to device specific subforums.
I was wondering why we don't have a developer discussion us soon section. There was one for the vzw galaxy s3 and it was good for developers. Thought it could be helpful for this phone.

I'm guessing phone is still new and fresh and developers are waiting for certain things in order to develop.

Well, there's the Verizon G3 Android Development section:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/development
and the Verizon G3 Original Android Development section:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/orig-development
...with a combined total of 5 threads. Do we need another section?
most developers use hangouts now, a thread just for developers isn't responsive enough

Hi guys
If like me you believe the Huawei MediaPad X2 needs it's own forum so we can quickly and efficiently find and share information about our device, then PM MikeChannon with as many links as you can related to the X2 from this forum. I submitted 21 links. On the first page alone two thirds are X2 related. If as many people as possible can do this, we can get the internal moderators to set up our own dedicated X2 forum
Cheers

Yes, we really do need an X2 forum. It's a great phone and deserves it's own space here on XDA.
Yes,we Need a own Forum for the X2
Agreed
True ... much more easy to find information with its own forum
Thanks for the show of support guys... Hope you all PM'ed MikeChannon with a list of x2 links from this forum to show him the amount of support we have got for a dedicated forum.

Yes, but I highly doubt he will give us our own forum. If he never did for the MediaPad X1 what makes you think he will for our X2? We honestly should already have our own forum as the phone is pretty popular and there is some development going on with it. I have a friend or two who are also ordering the phone so it definitely should have its own forum by now.
I agreed for a own forum
Can the moderators go through this subforum again?
There are still lots of topics that could be moved to the X2 section.

With a "recent" discovery of the "quadrooter" vulnerability, there's a chance for a root method for the Verizon moto e.
Can someone look more into this and hopefully create an app to help these poor Verizon phones…?
To the moderators: If this post is in the wrong section, please it to move it to the right place.

Probably will never be rooted with this vulnerability.
