I updated from MIUI7 global stable 7.5.2.0 to MIUI8 8.0.4.0 via OTA. After that I couldn't see the option to use the fp as my lockscreen security. Before on 7.5.2.0 I could unlock using the FP scanner. FP is made by fpc.
Here 'change screen lock' is grayed out:

After selecting 'choose screen lock' above, there is no option for fp:
I can still add new fingerprints and use the FP to take pics so it seems to be working fine. I just can't use the scanner in my lockscreen. I haven't unlocked my rn3p and not on vendor rom. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Thought I'd update on this as I found the cause of it. Turns out the culprit was a custom MIUI theme. Apparently not all themes support the Fingerprint scanner.

i Bought my device from Turkey, and i'm living here. In here Samsung Doesn't work on ICS to tab 10.1
So i saw on forum for Europe ICS Stock Rom and Flash with odin. But i just want Face Unlock feature.
4.0.4 is too fast. I LOVED it BUT there is no Face Unlock. How can i use Face Unlock?
Install? Enable somewhere?

There is simply options as you can see there is no Face Unlock (It's Turkish )
remove beetween d1207 and com parts.
I have stock ICS also and there is no face unlock on my device also, I've looked to see if it was listed any where whether that feature was removed but could not find anything. Might be added down the road but it does not look like it's there on the stock rom.

After the ****ty software the phone brings, supporting devs is a must.
Laser autofocus support would be great too.
I came from another phone with RRemix ROM to OPT Oxygen and am already missing some of the features like the ability to add a greater variety of tiles to the pulldown menu, built-in Lux auto-brightness, network u/l and d/l speed display and much more.. the only thing stopping me flashing RRemix now is the lack of support for fingerprint sensor and laser auto-focus.. they need to support the other hardware features too

GPU Overfreq Mode
Xiaomi and Redmi phone with snapdragon 855 has an hidden feature to increare smartphone performance. (e.g Xiaomi Mi9, K20 pro etc.)
This is an experimental feature in stock MIUI 11. (Follow at own risk, I didn't test it for a long period so be aware)
To enable/disable
Just type in the phone dialer: *#*#8106#*#* and press ON/OFF

Hi all. I just moved from an S21 Ultra to a Realme GT and I love it so far. However, I'm running into an issue. I rooted my device, installed Magisk, fixed SafetyNet, etc. My fingerprint sensor randomly decided to stop working.
On the lock screen, the fingerprint icon is gone, and it errors out and rapidly vibrates in settings when I try to add a new fingerprint.
I attached screenshots below. I'd really appreciate any help getting my fingerprint functionality to work again. Thanks in advance!

Propably root messed something
I had the same problem. First I had rooted (Canary) and Safetynet restored. Fingerprint was gone. After I removed the Safetynet Magisk Module, fingerprint worked again.
Dont install Safetynet on RealmeUI 2.0,
Only Works on RealmeUI 3.0

I am using xperia 1 Softbank 802SO running on android 10. Suddenly fingerprint sensor was not responding. Then I tried to add a new fingerprint, it is was showing that fingerprint sensor dirty, asking to clean. After some moment the fingerprint option vanished.
What can i do now?
We have the same situation though mine was from AU. I think this is a hardware failure of some sort.
I tried flashing into uk global rom, but it is not solved.

Hey mate, try this guide. Works fine to me. Use the UK Customized Rom Android 11.
