Hey!
If its not locked, then I dont get why its not working. Its not matter what SIM(working one) you use, it must work.
Dose you sure, that it not locked?(I seen you answer, but strange why its not working then).
Maybe you need to do some contract with WIND?

hello,
did you try to flash a stock rom, because i had the same problem and after flashing a stock rom, the problem was fixed.
Hi guys:
Can I unlock this device to use by another carrier?(out side U.S)
Can I use 3G sim(Microsim) or 3G network on it?
I'm waiting your answers guys.
I also have the same problem, help please
---------- Post added at 11:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:19 PM ----------
So after doing some research, i came accross a few websites that allow you to enter the EMEI number and spits out the unlock code
But my problem is, it talks ablout a unlock code, I do not know if the Tab10.1 LTE must have a phone app or somehting because I have restored stock rom and updated (Kies does not detect my SCH-i905, please help if you know how to fix), and I havent come accross a enter unlock code
Only when I restored stock ROM and recovery, it booted up and with my South African SIM card insterted, it showed 2 error messages
1.The tablet needs a sim card to carry on, please restart tablet
2. Ontop of previous msg, Sim card is froman unknown source
So I click okay on the Unknown source msg and I followed a youtube tut to bypass the "activation screen", the first msg.
Bypass method: press top letf corner, then top right, then bottom left (above icons), bottom right(above panel), and press volume up and voila!
So I updated after that because the tablet only showed me a MEID number, so after update I got a IMEI number,, but still
no keypad seen...
Apparently you need to go to applications>utitllities>calculator and enter: (+332286798378+
I dont know what is supposed to happen after that, coz well, it didnt work,
if someone has sim unlocked , please post the method!!!
Hay to all!
Like many other people, i have problem with galaxy s2. So the problem is, that one morning i didnt have signal any more.
I must say, that WIFI works well, and i DIDN'T lost my imei. But i simply cant register on network.
I already tried, reflashing with another rom, and disabling pin code on sim card, but didnt help,
PS. i dont have EFS backup, becuse my harddrive on which i had backup, died half year ago.
Help please!
Do you have your real IMEI (don't post it here) or the generic IMEI in settings/about phone/status ?

All these 'Half cooked' info will lead u nowhere ma8, do be more specific and provide details of ur 'Current ROM/Kernel/Modem' info along with a brief note of how this issue got into.
like u have Changed/installed anything on to ur phone after which this issue (no Signal) poped out for u
Do remember that people over here will be of help to u only when u can provide necessary (Basic) info to them as said above

Flash the original stock firmware.
Dont Think About What To Do Just Hit The THANK Button
Ok, here are more details:
I changed a lot of roms/kernels...At the end i have Neat rom. One day (after 2 months of no flashing), i was not able to register on network.
I already try, changing a lot of roms (resuraction, original 4.03, original 2.3.6). Currently i am on original 4.0.3.
Meanwhile i try, changing roms, backup EFS and then clear EFS from phone, wipe everything, wipe chache, disable sim lock...
Facts:
-can not register on network
-IMEI is correct
-Wi-fi works well
-currently on stock 4.0.3
-don't have EFS backup
-no warrenty
Forget the EFS thing. If your IMEI is good, that isn't the problem. Either the phone is IMEI blocked or there's something else at your carrier's end stopping you from accessing their network, or flashing a bunch of modems will fix it. Also, try a sim from another carrier & see if it works.
UPDATE:
sometimes, after reboting phone, i can make calls. After 3-4 minutes, the same error appears.
facts:
- my signal is always strong
-after 4-5 min i can not call anymore
-rom: cyanogen 3.0.64

On settings-> status, correct imei
I do excetly what you say. Under hidden menu (*#*#197328640*#*#), reading IMEI:not supported.
GalaxySIM Unlock shows me, correct IMEI, and says that my phone is unlocked.
When i run GS22-repair, after rebot "stolen IMEI" shows (004999...).

Hi all,
I have a s6 edge g925I model which I bought recently. One day my phone stopped receiving signals randomly and gave me not registered on network error. After several failed tries I eventually had to get it rooted in order to fix the network error. But rooting had other issues with it such as phone hanging, default apps not working etc. so I unrooted my phone using smart switch software recovery. But now after unrooting my phone again gives me 'not registered on network' error. The imei is working and I have tried many different ways to fix the error including flashing new firmware through Odin, removing sim and plugging again, viping cache etc. but nothing works. Please help!!
P.S everything else in working perfectly fine.
maybe....imei issue...
I have the same issue, but the imei is not the problem, the imei works fine.
I have the same issue,The imei code is the same printed on the cover,so i don't think it is not the problem
Did any one find a solution elmisaklk?

*Question
By any chance do you have a back up of a pervious firmware that you coukd get the EFS and modem data out of? If not check your sim card out and remove the possibility that it died or malfunctioned in some way. Also check your APN settings in network and try turning on roaming after youve checked its not your som causimg problems
Anyone have solution for Not Registered on Network.
My phone is G925i
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers mobile app
Hi There,
I have the same problem but I did not root my Galaxy. It happened right after the official Samsung MM OTA (G925F).
Do you have any suggestions to fix this problem?
At last I will go in a Samsung center to make it work but if I can manage to fix it without loosing the warranty would be better.
Thanks I'm advance!
Same Issue
Hi,
I have the S6 Edge G925I with the same issue. Phone was brought from Bextec for use in Australia, phone seemed to be linked to Indonesia, they asked for phone to be returned, when sent back to me, they have rooted the phone. Worked for a while but have now got the same error again. Rather than send it back to them is there any help for this issue??
Think a few people are having this issue, i get it if I switch over to anything thats not a 2g network, if i set it to 2g only it works fine and no dreaded "emergency calls only" status, might help someone maybe if you are set to auto on your networks try manual mode and 2g only networks, I am still looking for a solution to mine with the 3/4g working briefly and then it just dropping to "emergency calls only" after a short while.
I was given a samsung S4 verizon phone..I was told i had to unlock the phone to enable usage of my network(Nigeria). The Engineer i gave it to said he had to root the phone first..it was running 5.0.1 lollilop. After rooting, i think he used chimera, and restarting the phone, it would get stuck at the verizon logo..I'm new to android so I really want to know what to do next..
You should not have to root the phone to use it on your network. I am currently using my Verizon S4 in a Central American country on a GSM network. You should be able to just put in the sim card from your carrier and use the phone.
The first thing you need to do though is get you phone in a functional state. Your best bet here is probably to flash the stock firmware with Odin. You can find instructions on this in other threads. One I found is here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2393104&page=1
Once you have the phone restored to the stock firmware you should be able to pop in your sim card and go.
There are two settings you may need to check in order to ensure everything is functional:
1. Ensure that network mode is set to global. This option can be found in settings>more networks>mobile networks>network mode
2. If calling and texting work but mobile data does not you probably need to add your carrier's APN. First do a google search to find your carrier's APN, then enter the APN in settings>more networks>mobile networks>access point names. Tap the + in the top-flight corner and enter the information you found on the Google search. Save the APN and be sure it is selected on the APN page.
