Sup guys,
I had CyanogenMod on it and wanted to install the original Firmware again.
I flashed it over LG UP und now its working with the stock firmware.
But now, when i want to install TWRP i get following error:
"
target didn't report max-download-size
sending "recovery" (17524 KB)...

"
I installed the ADB Drivers, SDK Drivers und also tried to change the Drivers in the Device Manager.
But nothing works for me.

I updated to Project Spectrum 1.1 then tried to flash SuperSU from the stock recovery. No idea why I thought this was a good idea.
Now the phone gets stuck on the "Oppo - powered by android screen" and the recovery gets stuck on the charging screen, but indicates that it is not charging even when it is.
I can get it into fastboot, but can't actually do much with it...

I have tried fastboot from both Gentoo Linux (android-tools 5.1.1_p13) and Windows 10, using the ADB and Fastboot installer v1.4.3
It seems that phone is bricked.
I had the same situation with my R5 and the only way to get in life again is to use an unbrick tool provided by oppoforums .
You can ask Ricky at oppoforums.
Ricky is not replying after six days. Do you still have the tool?

Problem
Hello. I have the same problem and Ricky doesn't reply. Can i have this tool for unbrick my phone?
OnePlus X (Onyx) - Soft bricked
Boots into Fastboot mode, gets detected by PC.
No OS, No Recovery.
Problem: Recovery gets flashed successfully using adb and fastboot. But when trying to boot into recovery using commands, it says FAILED (remote:dtb not found); and when trying to boot into recovery using physical buttons, then it just stays on the OnePlus boot logo till eternity.
I tried using a flash tool as well(got from XDA), but the result is same.
Here is a look from cmd:
C:\platform-tools>fastboot reboot-bootloader
rebooting into bootloader...
OKAY [ 0.002s]

C:\platform-tools>fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-onyx.img

OKAY [ 0.466s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.260s]

C:\platform-tools>fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-0-onyx.img

I tried flashing twrp 2.8.7.0(onyx) but still I got the same error. (remote:dtb not found). No matter what, but it just won't boot into recovery.
How it happened:
Long back, I unlocked my bootloader, installed twrp recovery and also achieved root access. Then I flashed CM13. It was working quite fine. But then OOS 3(Official) came out for OnePlus X, so I decided to download it and flash it too. It was working all fine. But then I realised that I lost my root access and my recovery was changed back to stock OnePlus recovery. After that I tried for 2 days to flash twrp back, but I continued to get that (remote:dtb not found) error. It was quite desperate; then I thought to lock the bootloader back and unlocking it back again. But the moment I used the command "fastboot oem unlock", my phone didn't ask me for a yes or no, so I tried restarting it. But it was too late, my phone got soft-bricked till then. I am trying to fix this since days, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!
Try to create a Thread in the One Plus X Section .
A couple of days ago, I got an error on my phone (Motorola XT1033) saying that it cannot load the home screen. So, I restarted it in order to resolve the issue. However, it didn't reboot and since then it has been stuck in the Motorola logo.
I tried to do recovery or factory reset, but all the options lead to the same Motorola logo with no luck.
The only option that is working is AP Fastboot. I managed to unlock the bootloader by getting an unlock code from Motorola's website and using the mfastboot command. So I assume that the fastboot command is working since it detects the devices; however, I couldn't make ADB command to work since it give the error: 'device not found'.
Anyway, the second step is to flash the phone. According to this question, I should be able to do that. However, when I am running the command fastboot flash partition gpt.bin, I am getting the following result:
(bootloader) Variable not supported!
target max-download-size: 30MB
sending 'partition' (32 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.022s]
writing 'partition'...
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 0.154s
I have been searching for days to solve this problem, but nothing yet! I don't know which part I am doing wrong.
Hello, i tried to update the OS manually on my Desire 610, unfortuneatly i guess i soft-bricked it. I can not get out of Fastboot/Hboot menu. Is there any way to get a working OS on it? Or it is trash now?
Some info:
1. TAMPERED UNLOCKED
2. Fastboot devices : good ; adb devices: not found (tried with original cable, every usb slot, millions of drivers)
Code:
C:\Users\Erik\Desktop\fastboot>fastboot devices
HC46NWS01827 fastboot
C:\Users\Erik\Desktop\fastboot>adb devices
List of devices attached
3. I have no TWRP or CWM. Yes i tried to get twrp via fastboot, but it is doing the same.
Code:
C:\Users\Erik\Desktop\fastbo
target reported max download
sending 'recovery' (11588 KB
OKAY [ 1.342s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.628s]
finished. total time: 1.977s
4. Tried 2 different RUU, but at 1% it throws back an error.
Can some1 help me?
flash stock recovery with fastboot and use recovery to format. I was having the same issue with my 610.
Hi ,
I'm a noob in this and i need help ... i searched some guides on this forum , but i dont understand much from them i get stuck at one point ... That's why im asking for help.
How do i install a custom recovery on my tablet to then get root access ??
Currently what i did is got the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact Wifi IMG from TWRP , then went to the adb folder and opened command prompt using Shift + right click > Open a Command Prompt Here.
I then went to flashboot mode in my tablet ( i was holding volume up , then connected my tablet to the laptop) , a blue LED light showed up.
I typed "fastboot devices" in the command prompt , and it gave me a code so i knew the device was recognized . I then placed the TWRP img into the adb folder and renamed it "twrp" (because it was named twrp-3.0.2.0-scropion_windy.img) and typed in the command prompt "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
i got this in return :
target didn't report max-download-size
sending 'recovery' (12316 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.390s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
finished. total time: 0.398s
no recovery tho , cant enter it i heard that you need to press a key when a purple led shows up , but there's no led and even if i try a button combination , it wont work.
Pleaseeee help me guys!!! i really want root access
btw im using the adb from the android studio file
EDIT:
I re-locked my bootloader and then UNLOCKED it again.... and now it says this :
target didn't report max-download-size
sending 'recovery' (12372 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.392s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.832s]
finished. total time: 1.230s
But i still dont have the bootloader.... no led light , no button combination works :/
