Hey!
Changed my lock screen pin today, but apparently entered it wrong (twice?) so it wasn't what I thought it would be...
How do I go about unlocking it? I really don't wanna reset the device or install a new rom!
My Galaxy Nexus is rooted, I have gmail pw, ADB access and pin code...
Please help fast!

if the phone still has access to the internet (wifi or data) then once you try to enter the lock pin incorrectly a few times it should ask you to login with your gmail password, which should then unlock the device allowing you to change the lock pin.
Failing that there are methods involving adb, do a search on google as I think some people have unlocked it using adb.
Basically as the title says. I restored from a backup in TWRP (tried the new MIUI build) but the lock screen pattern I had before is no longer working. What do I do?? I'm not totally locked out, I have my finger print saved so I can get into the phone, but I can't change or remove the pattern.
I had similar issue with password. Luckily fingerprint was still working. I had to do a fresh install.
REMEMBER: Before you back in TWRP, make sure you erase all passwords / pins / patterns / fingerprints that are related to the lockscreen/security of the ROM.
Get my le tomorrow but had the same issue on my Axon and there where 3 files in system/data called gatekeeper... and locksettings.db. When you delete this files in twrp the problem is gone

Ive had numerous problems with twrp backups and keep having to do fresh installs, pattern not working file system becoming read only twrp backup is useless lol ?

If you have Le Eco account you can reset your pin/pattern/password. I had the same situation just prior to posting this. My Le Eco account was created using my phone number and not mail id. I could disable the pin lock successfully by the following method.
Requirement: Working internet connection on the restored stock firmware.
If fingerprint is working then one can create a new working internet connection.
After 5 unsuccessful attempts tapped on forgot password. Another screen popped up requring me to enter password and showed the phone number against which my account with Le Eco was created earlier. Entered the existing password but was not accepted.
Logged in Le Eco account on PC. Used the same password which was not accepted by the phone.
Changed the account password - One can sign in via Le Eco website and click on "SHOP LEMALL" or LeMall website. Change region accordingly.
Had to wait for about 10 minutes as the changed password was not accepted by the phone immediately. Few times I got "login error" too as Le Eco site is notoriously slow and will time out. After few attempts the new password was accepted. The phone disabled my PIN and opened "Fingerprint & password" screen with Screen lock as "None".
I do not know if for those who have account with mail id as user name the phone asks to sign in by showing mail id instead of phone number as in my case.

Don't do backups with passwords/pins/patterns is the answer.

I need to root it without lose reactivation lock
So, i think i need to get custom recovery with password like twrp then disable adb and usb debugging .
Are these combination protect my phone like reactivation lock?
What are the other methods to flash or bybass android phone with this combination?

You won't lose reactivation lock. If you root it and reset it then when you boot up it will ask for the last used Google account to be entered otherwise it won't boot up to system

No the phone will always ask for Google account aslong as Google account is connected to the phone. Why you so worried about your phone been stolen and bypassing reactivation lock?! Sounds a bit strange to me...
Just enable SIM lock and Google reactivation lock then if you was to lose it or it become stolen you don't need to worry.
Sound's to me like you have found/stolen this phone and you want to know if you can bypass reactivation lock with root.....
No my last phone note 4 was stolen and it was root so no reactivation lock and i couldn't block it
So i need to protect this phone and rooting it in same time without reactivation lock

You can password protect twrp. Also use a screen lock password, SIM lock password so it will require a passcode if the SIM is changed. Aslong as your Google account is logged in you will be fine. Also you only need imei to block the phone.
Is there a way to completely remove and not just bypass Mi account FRP MIUI 9.2.2 like in samsung phones?
I am able to use phone with second space method but if I'll restart the phone I'll be stuck with MI frp lock again until next factory reset with no way to get back to second space.
MY BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED !

I picked up my first ever Xaomi device(MI Max 2 MIUI 9), off one of my brothers friends knowing it was locked to some kind of administrative account but i was naive to think that after years repairing, programming and owning all Nexus and Samsung devices that this "MI" account lock would be a breeze......Well here is my issue....PLEASE HELP!!! This Max 2 has USB disabled, Locked boot loader, MI Account locked and has Automatic Wifi activated so even when i use the Mi Account Unlock Tool it reads my phone but as soon as it proceeds to unlock boot loader a do not connect to the internet warning pops up and shuts it down. So that brings me here, been in search of the same damn thing, and at this point I'm ready to toss this thing out the #$#@ing window.....and go back to my Nexus 5x.

Hi,
I bought a redmi note 9 pro from a friend and he did experimented on it so I saw a unlock logo while booting. Unfortunately I thought locking the bootloader by flash all lock will help this account password thing to never show up. I guess I'm locked up. Is there any way to bypass this lock even I have the bootloader locked? Please help.
Note:
1. locked bootloader
2. Mi account password is unknown
3. Bypassing not working on locked bootloader.

You need to download FRP Bypass Xiaomi and flash it via fastboot.
