Hi
No phone for two days now while I try to fix my own mistakes! Need some guidance please. I want to install either the custom ROM from lineageOS or the PixelExperience one. I've tried many times and always the same error.
Here is what I did
0 downloaded and unlocked the boot loader with the official app
1 downloaded all drivers and adb
2 ran fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
3 ran fastboot boot twrp.img
4 boot into twrp and install the LineageOS zip - version 15.1 I have tried v16 as well
5 selected wipe data
6 pressed back, clicked wipe and allowed it to complete the factory reset wipe
No matter what I do I can not get past the twrp screen. It constantly comes back. I can't do anything other than twrp or fastboot.
Please any guidance will help me?

If you are coming from a Miui stock rom you need to Format data, is not enough with wipes. In the case that the rom be a 9.0 pie you need to after Format data install the latest firmware to can boot.
Hi !
My Mi note 10 Lite is running on DotOS 5.1.1 (Official) and I want to update to 5.1.3. The updated has been released on the official servers but the internal updater don't work. It says that my phone is incompatible with this version, but on the website, the rom is avaliable.
My question is : Is it possible to flash the rom without losing any data ? If yes, is it "safe" ? Which version should I flash for the update ? The vanilla or Gapple one ?
Thanks !
I think you can dirty flash like it is explained on the rom's thread :
DIRTY FLASH
1. Download the latest dotOS for toco
2. Reboot to Android 11 Vendor TWRP or OrangeFox recovery
3. Flash Rom
4. Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
5. Reboot
Backup your data in any case to be safe

It is not recommendable to restore a backup from A10 to A12, you can encounter a bunch of incompatibilities. In regard to TWRP installation just do it through fastboot, you should try booting first to it and then permanently flashing it, remember some devices need the vbmeta to be flashed too.
Hi, I updated my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S model. After doing this, there is no trash can menu in the gallery app. To solve this problem, I even removed the update and deleted the gallery app cache, and then the gallery. I installed the Chinese Gallery App ROM but the problem still exists, my phone's ROM is global, is there a way to fix this problem.
