Just like the title states, is this possible? If so, please direct me on how to accomplish this. I've been out of the loop for months. Sorry in advance if this has been asked multiple times, I wasn't able to find a definitive thread that provided a solution/answer to this question.
Thanks!

Does anyone know whats going on with MinMinGuard? I know its stopped but wondering if anyone took his source and continued on? Possibly on another forum?
bump up.....
Bump for curiosity
I know 1.7.1 and 1.7.2 had been released recently...
Yeah its getting weird...
Hi everyone, I just had a general, noobie question... Where do the stock, factory roms come from? I know, the factory, but how do *we* get them? Is it a "I know a guy at the factory and he sent it to me" thing, or is it something where we could call the support line for our provider, and get it from them? Also, is it possible to extract it from the phone itself?
I am just wondering because I bought a few cheap phones that I would love to root, but I have heard of others having problems. I just would like to have a way to restore them, if something bad happens, so I don't wind up with a paperweight...
Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Sorry if I sound like a noob to all of this. But, I'm trying to root my LG X Charge, and I've tried multiple things (none of which have worked) and wanted to know if anyone knows how? Thanks for reading and/or replying

It's not root-able and probably never will be. Shame too I like mine.
