Where are the deals at? Let's share all those deals.
Verizon offering $10/mo for 24 months 0% financing on Pixel and up to $400 trade in credit.
https://www.theblackfriday.com/verizon-blackfriday.shtml?page=1
https://slickdeals.net/blackfriday/stores/verizon-wireless/adscans/24723/
I came across this the other day:
http://bestblackfriday.com/ads/verizon-black-friday
$10 a month at Verizon for Google Pixel, up to $672 for Device Payment Plan (discount applied as a bill credit). Not sure if that $672 limit rules out 128GB devices as those cost $749.
For anyone interested in a 32GB device, currently Best Buy is offering a $200 gift card for a monthly device payment plan with a new line of Verizon service. There is a $20 activation fee for ordering online, which is reportedly waived for in-store purchases, but so far Best Buy's inventory has seemed limited compared to Verizon. The phone can be paid off at Verizon anytime. This has been going on for weeks, so Saturday November 12 may be the last day. It's possible Best Buy could have better deals later this month, but so far this and the Verizon 20% off code last week have been the best offers that don't involve two years of service at Verizon.

I saw that too. $10 / month for 24 months is $400 off Google Store price. I have a verizon account that has an upgrade available. But I don't use Verizon that much, only for work. So if I buy one of these can I just pull out the sim and put in my Project Fi account sim and use it like that? I think it might depend on if vzw will allow it to come off the network while on that contract? But I'd buy that in a heartbeat if the deal is real and I could use it on Fi.

The Slickdeals discussions I've read seem to suggest it may be possible to do that sort of thing.

You probably can, Verizon phones are not provider locked, you should be able to put in any SIM card.
I personally have a Verizon subscription (the only way to get a decent signal at work where I spend most of my time) and am considering this deal. I would however strongly prefer to order directly from the Google store as I want an unlockable bootloader (I know there is DePixel8, but that's not the same and that loophole could be closed at any time with a security update, just want an unlockable bootloader without any hacks).
But, I might just take the plunge through Verizon, it's a very good price for this phone. Hopefully Google themselves come with some deals as well. Even just $200 off would be enough
I called Project Fi / Google Store (I think they're basically one and the same) and the guy saw the Verizon promotion and couldn't believe it. He wasn't sure about prospect of pulling it off the vzw network or if they would allow it during the contract period but I don't think they would care. I asked if he had an inkling of a Google black Friday deal and he didn't think they'd do something so drastic as to take 400 bucks off. But he did say and I did too, "Hey you never know." I don't know if I'd pull my 5x out of service for $200 off but I certainly would for 400. Gonna keep my eyes on this one for sure.
Found the page via google cache.. lol
I don't see any offers that would apply to the Pixel in Best Buy's Black Friday advertisement, so the Best Buy offer of a $200 gift card for a new line this week and Verizon's Black Friday offer may be the primary deals on Pixel phones this month. Based on last year's Nexus 6p, and the current limited phone supply at the Google Store, I wouldn't expect deals from Google this November. Assuming someone plans on having an active line at Verizon for two years, the only way it might be possible to slightly exceed Verizon's Black Friday deal any time soon would be if Verizon offers another discount code and retains their current offer of $300 in account credits over two years for a $1 phone trade, but that trade value is rather high so I wouldn't expect it to necessarily last until their next discount code. For someone that isn't interested in two years of Verizon service, the $200 gift card has only been rivaled by a 20% off code from Verizon that lasted just a few days, and any better offers from Best Buy or Verizon seem to have happened before this phone was available.
http://blackfriday.bestbuy.com/?category=doorbusters
Just chatted with the Google store and they said they currently have no updates on whether they'll have any Black Friday deals. I guess even if they did already know they probably wouldn't tell me Man, I'd really prefer to have it straight from Google for the unlockable bootloader (without any hassle), but that deal from Verizon is starting to look really good.
I looked at the Verizon site today. After adding a 128GB Pixel to the cart there was an offer for 50% off a second phone, either a Pixel or V20. I didn't see written terms for the offer, but it looks like they are reducing the retail price of the second phone. It seems the $300 in 24 months of bill credits on a $1 phone is still available, but I've read that you might have to try a store to trade two phones for two new devices. On a preliminary look, the 50% off a second phone seems like potentially one of the better deals for anyone willing to consider buying two phones.

If only we had T-mobile here...
I was going to return my pixel 128gb and then buy another one for Black Friday. I decided to take advantage of the trade in $200 credit, just in case if the terms for the black Fri sale didn't fit me as a Verizon customer. I purchased an iPhone 4 used for $25 that was being used for Sprint. Verizon took it with no problems and will credit me $8.33 per month.

For those of us wanting the Pixel from Google with the unlockable bootloader, couldn't we trade in a phone on Friday for $400 and get the Verizon Pixel then sell it? The $400 credit and whatever proceeds from the Verizon Pixel should be more than enough to cover the cost of purchasing from the Google Store.

The $400 credit is applied over a period of 2 years to your monthly phone bill, so while you can do what you're proposing, you won't see any immediate benefit.

From what I've read on SlickDeals, the BF credit will be applied immediately. However, I don't think we'll know for sure until the day comes.

Nope, pretty sure it'll be applied over a period of 2 years. So you'll need to stay on contract with them for at least as long to get the full benefit. And either way, I think this deal only applies to the 32GB Pixel, don't think the 128GB will get this deal.

So only 1 variant of the Google phone would apply here, a 32GB Pixel? Hmm.. the $400 credit is that for any phone or is it a credit up to $400?

If I remember correctly, the black friday deal will be for the Galaxy S7, Google Pixel and one other phone. It would apply to a max of $672. But since Verizon forced sites to remove all these adds everywhere, I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up coming with something else. I would strongly prefer a Google store version, so I have one on backorder right now, but if a really good deal comes up from Verizon, I might consider getting the Verizon version.

I'm planning on getting the EVO 3D off contract but so far I only see Radio Shack quoting it at $499. Has anyone heard of other retailer pricing? Does Amazon sell phones off contract? If $499 is the lowest and Amazon sells off contract then no tax or shipping cost would be better than RS or BB.
I realize the release date is still ad few weeks away but maybe we can use this thread to update competitor pricing for those looking for off contact purchases.
Radio Shack: HTC EVO 3D - $499
Amazon.com: HTC EVO 3D - $469 (no tax, free shipping)
bam! 4th thread asking the same question...... congratulations!!!!!!!!
short answer...... its all speculation. Leaked ad showed it selling at $499 off contract but nothing official was released.
oh that $499 price was Radio Shack. Sprint and Best Buy may have a different price assuming that $499 was accurate.
ok let this thread die until stores officially release pricing
My intention is to keep this thread dedicated to places selling off contract so people don't have to wade through the contract discussion. I would also update the OP to include the list people suggest. I agree there are too many identical threads but this would attempt to direct off contract customers here.
Brick and mortar, online, wholesalers, etc. Preferably avoiding shady places.
until there are official off contract pricing this thread is useless and would just be cluttered up with guesses providing no real info. Let the other threads collect that junk that have been collecting other people's junk.
When there is official pricing then a thread like this would be useful
I am buying off contract as well. I will keep an eye out on this thread but my guess is that Sprint will have the lowest price,BB will have the highest, & not sure about the others.
I just for an email about the Evo 3D from Sprint this morning.
It said $199 on contract with $200 instant savings, and that's it. It'd be hard to believe that it would only be $400, but that's kinda how it looked to me. I'll upload a screen shot in a minute.
Isn't this thing supposed to be an e-reader, weird.

thats how it looks at first glance but read it carefully. $200 instant savings. That may not mean $200 2 year contract instant savings. Or it could.
I just have a hard time believing that the new flagship phone will be cheaper retail than 5 other phones they carry all which have a $300-$350 difference between contract and non contract price
The fine print was posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1112504&page=3
I'm also buying off contract.
If it's $199.00 after $200.00 in instant savings then I'm guessing that's also after the full $150.00 contract renewal discount.
I'm predicting it will be $549.00 from Sprint and either the same or $599 from BestBuy.
I already posted what the price is in another thread
199.00 upgrade price
200.00 instant savings
150.00 the upgrade savings
total retail at sprint 549.99

Extremely easy. Just call from a phone other than the two you want to swap. They ask you to turn them off and they ask for some number behind the battery.

I'm hoping for some type of release of a off contract price. Seems kind of odd they haven't released it yet. Kind of pisses me off frankly.
so further thinking, instead of paying $549 for the off contract price, i could buy a new phone, switch the numbers, and pay at most $200 fee. So far $400. Then ebay my old evo for circa $200,and that leaves me with a net off contract price of around 200 bucks for a evo 3d, not bad....
somehow i think sprint has thought of this already and has ways to prevent it.
good luck though

well i know i can add another line, sprint will love that
then i know i can cancel my old line, all they can do is charge me the ETF fee, which is only $100 now since im 1 year in. so i'll pay $300 for phone and fees. then sell for 200 ebay leaves me with paying only $100 for a evo 3d and off contract at that.
the only hurdle to leap is sprint easily allowing me to switch my old number to the new evo 3d

Hi. So was this on an upgrade or a new line or new customer? If an upgraded did BB give you any hassle? I'm getting mine on Saturday but was thinking that BB would just say that no price match since one is ATT and one is Sprint. I guess the same could be said about the "port your number" price. I can handle confused sales people as long as I have a "logical" argument as to why the price match so applies.

Thanks. I figured asking for 249 would be pushing it I think I'll just ask them to price match ATT then see what I can get for my Note 2 for trade in. Also, the one up looks attractive but I would hate giving up my grandfathered unlimited data family plan.

Push it to the limit! I too got it for $249.99, if not possible then settle for $299.99 and if both are no dice go to a different Best Buy and be friendly to the person helping you!!
A little bit of conversation, smile, and charisma go a long way [I was trying to flirt with her -- she was good looking LOL].
Would have been super nice if I also got the$50 gift card, but I didn't :silly:
I got my sprint note 3, added a line, no number port. The guy who sold me the phone found it for $249 on wirefly and price matched. I liked to have died, thanks bestbuy.
On side note, no one up program @ bestbuy. Only sprint stores or sprint.com.

Best Buys price match policy on their website clearly states they do NOT price match online retailers. With that being said, yes some do get lucky. What I did was look up other brick and mortar retailers to see what they showed as the "advertised price". Fry's has it for $249.99, so does Sam's Club, heck, even sprint has it "advertised" for $249.99, it's not until you look at the "fine print" that it shows $100 discount is for clients bringing their number from another carrier.
So if you want you can save another $50, use that towards a screen protector / case :silly:
I guess the Note 3 is not eligible for the promotion. I went to a Best Buy Mobile kiosk in the mall and they told me it was but when I went to the purchase the phone they told me it wasn't part of it and refused to honor the promotion.
Did anybody try to price match after already have bought the phone?
Upon finding this thread, I immediately headed to best buy with proof of Sprint.com prices and such, and was denied by the manager on the grounds that they only price match if you do it on the day of the purchase. That the 15 day price match guarantee only applies to their own prices, and even then, mobile contract phones do not apply.
Thoughts?
Edit: I bought the phone on october 4th as an eligible upgrade. I actually got two, one for my wife and for me. We had two eligible upgrades.

If you want the discounts try another person / manager in the store. If not then try another store. If all fails you can go the route of returning them within 14 days or threatening to unless they match the price.
Good luck.
Hate bestbuy lol
I just went to bestbuy spoke to a manager and everything, Amazon has the gn3 on contract for 250 even for existing customers, they wont price match it, he even showed me in their price match guide where it says "no price match for on contract phones"... Then he says well how about a case (got one) how about a screen protector (got one), I said how about a gift card? Nope! lol... oh well I may take it back, and get it off amazon, its just lame how they say "beat any price" and then there is a bunch of fine print!
Yall that got them to price match, Thats freaking great!!

While I dont always jump and get the newest devices, I dont like the idea of being under a contract for 2 years. I may be ok and just may be over thinking it. Maybe I can just pay my way out of the contract if they do come out with a new version.

I bank on samsung releasing another, and at the outright price this thing is coming out with ($3-400, I paid $300 for the original gear and feel comfortable around this price for these watches) I'll just buy the next one outright and swap the Sim, they can't force you to keep the same watch.
wow your right. I forgot all about that.

Sprint customers can purchase the Gear S for $0 down, and 24 monthly payments of $16 ($384 total), but will also have to pay an additional $10 per month on its Family Share Pack plan. However, Sprint is waiving the monthly fee through December 2015 if you sign up for a 20GB or higher Family Share Pack plan. However, the Gear S will use Sprint's 3G network, and not its LTE network.

I believe once the S6 comes out March or so the gear S2 or whatever they call it will be released as well Samsung is working on another version already. Hopefully the new version will include a camera that can use front face camera for skype/tango ect (wishful thinking I know but a dreamer can dream)
Guys and Gals talking about AT&T... I think what you have to be interested in is adding the $10/month for 24-months...or forever, haha. Once you take that jump of paying $10 a month for a smartwatch, you'll probably never go back right?
Its just like adding a data play to a tablet. The phone will need data to be able to get calls so Im ok with that.
Hi all, the Gear S is a 3G/2G device, it does not support LTE, therefore it won't work on LTE bands.

Does anyone know if the mini opera browser will work just using bluetooth connection not with a sim card?
Verizon Customer support told me...
The unit would be available 11/7/2104.
$399 off contract
$349 with a 2 year contact
$5 dollars a month.
I don't recall what $5 a months gets you in terms of data sorry.
I think i'll grab one. I have a Note 3 and if I like the watch I'll go for a Note 4. If I don't like the watch i'll go with a Nexus 6 or less likely a Droid Turbo.
Take care,
Flip

I called a brick and mortar store. They said it was true that Verizon would have them on Friday (11/7/2014) but they did not know if their actual store would get any. They told me to call back on 11/7/2014 because they never know what inventory their are going to get until the same day.
Happy hunting!
If Verizon is 400 off contract price, I think ATT will be the same. All in all I think I may just get on contract.
I hope your source is accurate. I called several Verizon stores and tweeted the VZW news and they have not received a release date. Same song and dance at Best Buy. I considered buying a t-mobile watch but learned that the watches are carrier specific. Sux! I'll ring them again on Friday morning to see if they have them in stock. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I suppose I need to take trip to my VZW store Friday and see. Unfortunately no money for the watch this month.
Just purchased my gear s from an Att store in Houston. Price is $299 w/o contract and $199 w/ 2 yrs contract. I chose the 2yrs contract as with my discount the line would $5/month on family share .

Get it will it's HOT! YMMV
Give thanks if it was useful
Has or is anyone gonna try for this? I read also price will be dropped to $272 in stores on black friday.
Vzw come sim unlocked and work on att and tmo gsm. Ymmv.
In stores you can have them apply all credits towards the phones cost instead of opting for the vzw visa credits..

I'm in! I purchased mine yesterday, online. They dropped the retail price by $100 which brought the Edge price down accordingly. I did not have a phone to trade in, as that would have given me another "up to" $300 bill credit.
(I did take advantage of that particular promo for my wife, however. I upgraded her HTC M8 to a Droid Turbo 2 64GB that she got to customize. VZW gave me $200 for her M8, so I took it. The Droid Turbo 2 was also $100 off).
They are set to be delivered to me Monday. Looking forward to playing with my V10 in the coming days and I will hit the LG holiday rebate page as soon as I get my IMEI.

Nice grats at least someone has taken advantage of the deal. I would have taken the deal too if I didn't already get what I wanted outta the TMO deal.
Edit. They didnt give or offer you the full -$200 black friday deal? Perhaps you can call in. I hear verizon cs is supposed to be good.. After handing in two rather decent phone both for total $300 credit doesnt sound fair. According to the thread, but those people might be just talking trash.
I got $100 off the retail price plus $100 from LG but my Note Edge I turned in on upgrade. My wife got $200 for her M8 plus $100 off retail like me. Was there more that I missed? If so Verizon is pretty good about things like that.

Not sure thought there was more for actual black friday, but looks like you got great deal(s)?
I picked up mine this weekend. Paid $114.40 for the down payment, $53.76 for the tax, got $300 trade in for a $30 phone, and still owe $157.60. Already submitted the documents for the $100 credit as well so I'm happy with the purchase so far. It all adds up, incase anyone wanted to avoid doing the math.
So in case anyone is wondering, they will take any working phone and still give you the $300
http://i.imgur.com/JnFc6FS.jpg
I got this phone for $30 on black Friday.
The main issue was having to get a new line of service. I'm OK with a new number, but for anyone wanting to keep theirs all you need to do is pay $20 to port it into Google voice. Once you have it in your Google account, you should be able to port it back to Verizon to replace the "new number" without any problem . The whole porting process might take a few days, but if you want the discounts and keep your number this seems like a decent option.

See above quote? That's what people were getting, so it was strange you had to turn in two really pricey phones to get $300, when others got the full $300 for under $100 phones. Also on Black Friday they gave you -$200 instead of -$100.

I haven't head anything, mine is still just showing documents received.
I somehow ended up walking out of the verizon store with one last Friday the 4th. :silly:
I just went to dreamily check out a Turbo2 and a V10.
Verizon gave me $300 for a extra working rezzie that I got off eBay (a must read http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-rezound/general/worst-phone-ive-t2827048) a month ago for $20. They also knocked $100 off the v10's $672 price. Bringing the price down to $272. They only required 90 days of carrier service instead of the advertised 2year contract deal requirement. I paid the $272 and went home.
The next day I googled "v10 promos" and BAM I got this link!! http://www.lg.com/us/promotions/mobile-deals#carriers-verizon
There are 2 currently valid promos on that page. Be sure page loads fully before scrolling and scroll all the way down.
That brought the V10 down to $172 for me with only a 90day "contract" requirement with Verizon and Plus a free shiny new 64gb sd card, spare 3000mah battery with a standalone charger OTW to me.
Rofl but yet I still am wondering if I should have went with the Turbo2 instead
...if I never had gotten that "broken" old rezzie off of eBay last month...I know that I would of never had gotten so interested in learning about the latest and greatest that's out there now and the deals.
Lmao that old rezzie managed to land me something I thought I could not have anytime soon <3 yet it co$ted me some while it saved me bunches
BTW here is another currently valid promo I keep overlooking, for those who are interested http://www.lg.com/us/mobile-phones/google-play-music

Yeah I'd look more into that. I work for Verizon and that info is not correct. If you leave after 90 days you will be charged the balance on the phone. After your line access discount you technically pay that but there is an agrreemt for 600$+ on the phone. The 90 days is just so the rep doesn't get charged back on the sale.

I received the $300 gift card for my trade-in in my email faster than I got home on the day I purchased. The following day I applied it to my new phone which paid it off.
So I hope I will indeed be freed from all requirements when the 90days are over.

When I bought mine, I was told I had to stay for a year in order for the deal, and trade in credits to apply, otherwise I would have been charged the balance of the phone. I don't plan on leaving, but technically I could... cancel this line>open a new one to get the $300 credit +$100 off instant and more gift cards? Could potentially land a Turbo 2 for next to nothing if that's the case.

Hi Folks,
Protect your Nexus 5X or 6P from drops, cracks, and spills with device protection, now available for devices purchased from Project Fi.
With device protection, you can quickly get your phone replaced in the event of:
Accidental damage (including drops, cracks, and spills)
Mechanical breakdown (beyond the 1-year manufacturer's warranty period)
Enroll your phone for $5/month. A deductible will apply for device protection replacements ($69 for Nexus 5X, $99 for 6P).
If you’ve already purchased a Nexus 5X or 6P from Project Fi, log on to fi.google.com to enroll your device for a limited time. If you’re purchasing a new Nexus 5X or 6P from Project Fi, you can enroll during checkout or up to 30 days after shipment. Be sure to activate Project Fi service within this time window.

Hi what do you think guys if you cancel or pause your project fi service they will cancel your plan or you can still pay $5 a month and be covered I can't find anything about this in the agreement.
I was thinking originally to use my phone bare and pay for the Device protection, but I think is just to pricey. In case you need to replace it in the first year, you have to pay $150. $210 in the second year. Meanwhile, you can get a decent case for less than $10. I have never had damaged a phone so far, and my Nexus 5 did need replacement (twice) but all happened within the year. So I guess for me, it's worth to take the risk.

Well just try and keep it mind it doesn't just cover damage, it also covers hardware failure beyond the 1 year manufacturers warranty. In my experience, most flagship phones end up having issues especially early in production. It's actually happened with pretty much every phone I've owned in the last five years. Charging ports that failed in the droid charge, speakers that died in the droid maxx, screen flickering in the Galaxy S4. Sometimes its better to be safe than sorry as the problems often don't appear within the 1st year, especially if it involves a manufacturing defect.
this is an even worse rip off than nexus protect. check out upsie. basically the same coverage for a fraction of the cost
I pay $8/month for insurance on T-Mobile and I paid $9/month on Verizon. You guys really think $5/month is a ripoff?
FYI you still pay the deductible on both other carriers. Have you guys not ever paid for phone insurance before?
It's not that serious, buy it or don't.

$5 a month is too much. I use Upsie.com. I switched my stuff from Best Buy to them. Figured out I was over paying.
Kind of sh*tty that they won't offer this to people who bought their N6p's through the Google Store. The people who bought from the Google store had to pay for the entire 2 year protection plan up front ($89). Project Fi is owned by Google so why the hell wouldn't they extend the same service to Google Store consumers?
Strike one for Project Fi. Hopefully they don't get to three.

I'm not sure I understand your complaint. Google store coverage 2 years for 89, projectfi 120 for the same two years of coverage. I would have gladly paid upfront for Nexus protect as opposed to a monthly fee.

There are also coverage plans you can purchase from other insurance providers within a certain time frame. Squaretrade just requires a receipt and $99 for 2 years.

I agree. Better deal to buy it outright. Actually, I originally ordered my 6P from Amazon. But then found out I could not get the Nexus Protect for it. It's a little cheaper than the Squaretrade plan, the deductible is a bit higher ($14) and the coverage seems similar. I just felt in this case, the plan from Google was the way to go. So I returned the Amazon one unopened and ordered it from Google with the plan.
I've had device insurance either through the carrier or squaretrade for many years, and only used it once. Probably would have been money ahead just putting that money into a bank account.
Anyone here try upsie? It's very cheap. Enough to make me suspicious

Pretty obvious what my "complaint" (if you can call it that) is. Some of us might not need the full 2 year coverage. Some of us like to pay as we go because some of us are always on the hunt for greener grass. Some of us could probably find better device coverage within 2-3 months...... Therefore, some of us like having the option to just use it as temporary coverage until we find that greener grass....
....some of us.

Well there's nothing wrong with not wanting a full two years of coverage if you are one of the many XDA users who switch out devices constantly, but one thing you might not have noticed is Nexus protect is also transferable. Just add the cost onto the phone when you go to resell it, as most people would love to buy a used phone with an actual warranty. It's really a win win for everyone.

Yep. It's transferable and that's peachy, but I don't want to dump $90 all at once without knowing all of my options (present & future).....and....like I said in my last post....having that $5 a month coverage is a good temporary option until I find something more permanent.
