Dear all,
I used to have the usb computer connection menu (where I can choose between MTP/PTP/usb mass storage) from the pulldown drawer whenever I connect it to my computer. However, when I have selected "mass storage device" for a couple of times, this menu disappeared from the pulldown drawer and can only be accessed through settings - storage - menu button. This is inconvenient... Can someone help me to put it back to the pulldown drawer?
I am using cm 10.1, lastest nightly version (May 4th 2013) on I777.
Thank you!

Go to Settings > System > Quick Settings Panel > Dynamic Tiles and make sure USB Tether is checked. :good:
Must be the ADB issue on 7.1.1 but it's driving me crazy. I've tried adb debugging then using "adb install appname.apk" it doesn't work . Someone had a working method on 2.0 when it was a beta build but i can't find the thread. Help me out peeps!
You need universal ADB drivers working and enable ADB Debugging in Developer Settings of the watch. Check the device manager for devices without any drivers and verify that ADB Debuggin is active. Of course you need to activate these first. Go to the settings menu, and scroll down to "About" Tap it. Scroll down to the bottom again, where you see "Build" something Tap it seven times. After the third tap, you'll see a playful dialog that says you're four taps away from being a developer. (If only it were that simple, eh?) Keep on tapping, and *poof*, you've got the developer settings back.
DONT END UP REMOVING CORE SYSTEM APPS IT WILL RESULT IN A BOOTLOOP!
You need a PC to do this.
This helps you to select the app you want to debloat and gives you options to restore/backup as well.
It also includes a ton of other features.
You can either download the standalone JAR file or the ZIP file which contains both fastboot and ADB.
All credits go to Saki.
Enable developer options in Android.
MIUI: Go to Settings > About device and tap ‘MIUI version’ seven times to enable developer options.
Enable USB debugging in Android.
MIUI: Go to Settings > Additional settings > Developer options and enable USB debugging.
In order to use the Screen density and Screen resolution modules, enable USB debugging (Security settings) as well.
Connect your device to the computer and launch the application. The device is going to ask for authorisation, which you'll have to allow.
Wait for the application to detect your device. The device info should appear in the top left section.

Can anyone help? Can't seem to edit the notification parcel/quick settings. No screen recorder either
It's a bug. Use System UI Tuner and reset the notification shade to make it editable. No root needed, but you will need adb for permission.

This is a bug and i had to use adb to reset the settings to default. This happened because i was coming from a custom rom and my Google account synced and created this bug.
Probable Solution
Nope, you're not the only ones but update 11.0.8 should fix it, at least it worked for me
you can solve this problem with adb
open developer options
enable (usb debugging) and (usb debugging security)
in your platform tools directory open cmd or terminal
enter the following commands
adb devices
adb shell
settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles "$(settings get secure sysui_qs_tiles),edit"
adb reboot
I also notice that notification panel and quick settings tiles remains unchanged after applying themes. Any workaround...... Or its the way it is for now?
Hi.
I wanted to install Morelocale2, but when I installed via adb, the smartphone wants me to enter another adb command. However, when I do that, an error appears. See Picture.
I have the solution for you:
With the Find N you have to activate "Disable Permission Monitoring" in addition to "USB Debugging".
Hey MobilejackYT where abouts are both of these settings on the Find N?
Located in developer options.
Settings -> about device -> version -> tap build number 8 times until a confirmation windows appears.
Then it's located in system settings.
