Fair enough. I added a link to that post for older versions. I am only going to post from today forward. No reason to duplicate effort for older versions.

Download address http://kuai.xunlei.com/d/EINCLTJTYAFN
Downloading now. Took bit to finally get download started.
Test it later this evening..
May not test it after all since download stopped..
Im downloading now (surprisingly quick considering downloads from china tend to take a while) so ill test when done. Is this a newer version then the one that is in the development section?
Works fine and looks good, as does the jackhuazai transplantation version in the same thread.
I just worry about the security whenever I download something from China which is not by a trusted dev we know here on XDA so I did not put any account information in.

Yes, and it is still labelled stevendeb when installing, but we don't know the source is stevendeb.

This version is everything working?

It wouldn't be bad if I could figure out how to get rid of all chinese chars....
It's labeled as ME860 ... Instead of ATT version of MB860...

I didn't try everything. I flashed it, verified it booted, went through some menus, and then wiped again. It definitely looks nice, but I don't know the functionality. I am assuming it should be better than the previous version, but then again, never assume!
beautiful
Could someone that has it upload it to another server...mediafire 2shared or something it says 21 hours everytime I try..

How to build a custom rom from CM

I bought a smart phone in March, it called Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos 2 (GT-S7572).
Samsung only gives updates with Android 4.1.
I'd try to use 4.2 fireware, so I want to build a custom rom from CM.
I looked the forums, the ways only for HTC. Can any body tell me how to do it? Thanks.
Can anyone can answer me? Oh no.

Ah.. Sorry if it's a dead link. Respect for trying to build one yourself, I'm not quite there yet. Still just a consumer
And since it seems like the XDA standard, I'll parrot what everyone seems to say everywhere: there's a thanks button, use that to say thanks
Good luck on your project btw! I just started looking into it when I have time here and there, I'd love to make my own ROM too.. One day.

Look at http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Development under the section "Building Basics". Also, if your device is not listed, you'll need to look at the section on porting - http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_porting_intro. However, you might want to see if someone else has built for your device first and look at the unofficial ports - http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Unofficial_Ports.

If it'd help, Samy2015 on another thread suggested you need the right rawprogram xml. I hope you have it. If you have the right rawprogram0.xml would you mind sharing it, so more people can try the qfil method with various kdz files? Thanks.

I have a question and I hope you can confirm this.
I just had another TMO LG V10 delivered to my doorstep on yesterday. Got home a few moments ago and cracked open the device. There must be tons of these VS990 boards swimming around because I have one right now.
Now, my question to you is this: If I accept this software update (Nougat) that is now available on my device, will this cause my phone to go into a bootloop due to the mismatch of files? If that's the case, should I install the Nougat kdz file (if available) thru LGUP?
I will patiently await your response.
Thank you for your time.

I'm taking a chance and updating the firmware thru LG Bridge. Wish me luck in this endeavor.:fingers-crossed:
Just did the update and factory reset the phone. All is well, anxiety averted.

Which kernel does it have?
What are the bugs?

Performance is buttery smooth. No issues or whatsoever. I used the dll from lg v30. I installed it then deleted the common dll in the lgup folder then replaced it with the common dll found in the patch folder of lgup 1.14 patched
