Hey everyone, It's me again. big deal nobody cares!!! I'm not going to make a fancy op here as this is a relatively simple thing. In my quest and dream to hopefully get a V20 soon I figured I'd make a mockup screenshot maker for those who want to post cool screenshots or have a rom or whatever and want to show the device with their work on it. So feel free to use this however you wish. I really could care less if you credit me or not, nor do I care if you link back to here like some weirdos request. Not sure why they want mentions and a link but whatever. Do what you want just don't claim it to be your own!
Here's an example of what it does:

Quick question, how to open the file? I've tried to download the file "LG+V20_V10_psd-mockup_mark_bencze.7z" but 7Zip, Winzip or WinRar won't open it. I've tried to download multi times but still won't open. I'm not complaining or anything, just asking. Thanks

can someone please tell me what the hell these .pro files are? i'm used to seeing .png files in the apk's, and have done quite a bit of searching, but cannot find what format the .pro files are in the system apps on the lg optimus
also, what to do to convert .png's to .pro's and so forth
thanks in advance
I'm seeing the same thing all the themes for ninja/metamorph are using .png files.
But when i open the apk's for said theme they contain pro files instead of pngs.
I'll do some of my own testing.
But if anyone else has any incite please let me know.

somebody recently said that if you rename your .png files to .pro, it may work
i havent tried it yet though
I just tested it and it worked.
But when i tried it with a .9. file it cause my phone to bug out and had to load a backup.
So watch out for those .9 files.

Na i just used DOS to remane them like ren *.png *.pro
And done!
Still there are alot of bugs with those pro files some work some dont...some cause boot loops or the app not to work.
What i need is buuf style control bar and maybe some buuf themed apps that will work without renaming files.
have you found a way to view and edit files .pro?

Works great! My list was getting pretty long too, so thanks for reposting it for us.
use this everytime..
This should be implemented into EVERY single rom we have.
Some roms already have this in it.
Perfect, Thank you.

This should be included in every ROM.. why would it NOT be?
Thanks for this! I was just trying out CM7 yesterday and I noticed this right away. I assumed it was a gingerbread or CM thing. I also agree: every rom should have this!
Doesn't seem to work on HeroTab X5A android 2.1
Installed per instructions and restarted tablet. Does not show up when I choose to add widgets. did I miss something?
I should be more clear in what I tried....I copied the AppWidgetPicker-1.2.3.apk to the /system/app folder. I then restarted my tablet. But when I long press on the screen and am presented with Widget option the only widget that is shown is the Google Search widget.
Double checked the file permissions ont AppWidgetPicker.apk. Apparently it did not have the correct permissions r-w-x. I incorrectly assumed that copying the file to the /system/app folder it would inherit the correct permissions.
Anyway, working great now.
Nice

Aren't those .9.png? You need to use draw9patch on them because they're scalable, otherwise they won't stretch properly.

Saying that is easy but I've tried using that patch tool from the SDK and I get the exact same problem no matter what I do with it. If someone could tell us exactly how to use that tool that would be great

Everything you need to know is in this thread.

Tried using draw9patch bit now im getting force closes...
the 9 patch is a pain. You have to add the "guides" in draw9patch, then put image into a new apk in eclipse and export the apk. This step makes the guides transparent. Then import them into you MMS.apk
Your getting force closes because of the last two steps your missing.

Hello fellow note owners are you tired of the same ol boring font well i have great news for you and its called a flipfont! What's a flipfont you might ask well a flipfont is an .apk file that you install just as you would any app and bam you've been flipfonted!!! I will be adding serveral fonts to this thread so keep a look out.
Lets get started i really hope i don't need to explain how to install an .apk but i will if needed (let me know) so you've got your font you want installed how do we apply it? here's how screen shots below.
1.download whatever font.apk you want and throw it in a folder on your SD card.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. use any file explorer my FAV is root explorer and navigate to where you put your font.apk file
3.click to install the font.apk file boom done installed ready to rock.
4.now we need to go select the new font we just installed so here we go!
5. hit menu/settings/display/screen display/font style and select your new font select yes to confirm and that's it now we can enjoy our new font cheers
I TAKE NO CREDIT IN CREATING THESE FONT .APKS PLEASE GIVE THANKS TO THE CREATORS
