I didn't test ROMs because I don't have a device, but I worked with stock ROMs a bit and they're pretty much identical. The device is actually nearly unbrickable because you can always flash stock with flashtool.

Pretty much so. At least as long as you don't do stupid things like flashing firmwares for a completely different device (P,U, etc. <-> S,AcroS etc.)

They are pretty much the same already. Still, device specific tweaks will be there.

Sadly it isn't supported.
You can however link the files to SD with Link2SD. It will require you to partition your card.

I did however get a bootloop if I restarted the phone with the card. Fix that worked for me here (however only the SuperUser method work, SuperSU didnt):

I'm using Monxdified Rom 4.4.2 Kitkat, when i connect my phone to PCC, i saw ''there is a new update for your device'' and started to download. I hope this is a ''bugfree'' new kitkat update...I will post the firmware version after i update my phone.
Version is the same 14.3.A.0.681
Edit : New version is 14.3.A.0.757.

Nah the fix maybe just a placebo i guess. We'll just wait for next week.

For me ; sound bug is gone, but the sound is still low compared to 4.3 rom.

Sorry, I don't have any tut, but you can find it easy in Google or XDA.
The main point is: I don't have the ota update file. If I get it I can make it.
If you can download , the file maybe at cache/recovery/fota something like that.
Check the file size to make it is correct.

Here you go... file is extracted from /cache/recovery/fota and matches the file size mentioned

CM13 and CM14 (and all ROMs based on these) have a feature called Adaptive Storage that does that.

actually i don't really know about this boot.img thing but i guess it's necessary to boot the device , so i just made a kernel recovery with RASHR , although i can't upload it because it's 22 MB and the max is 20 , if this is the one you're talking about just tell how i can upload it to you , otherwise please explain what is it , and thank you so much for your time

After you reboot, the external SD should now be internal.
BTW, you need an unlocked bootloader for this to work.

hey guys , help please , my lg d-618 automatically rejects sd card sometimes , it reads it at will , it's like it's controlling itself , the problem isn't in the hardware , because the recovery mode (TWRP) detects sd card with no problem at all , please help
I have received the camera APK from the P30 Pro. Unfortunately it will not install on my Mate 10 Pro with 9.0.0243. Somehow logical that the 9.1 apps check for target OS version.
Does anyone have an idea how to install it, and would it work at all?

If your bootloader is locked, then there's no other way to install it. Post the APK here, maybe we can make it work on unlocked devices!

You meant on locked devices? The apk won't install, so i don't think you can get it working as it is.
The camera is working, no issue so far. The interface is a bit different and honestly i didn't spotted any improvement over the stock one.

It could be possible if you decompiled it and changed package name then recompiled (and remove any checks, it should only check for 9.0 as 9.1 is still Pie, but signature could be causing it). But decompiling Huawei apks is another story.

Ive installed the module through Magisk on my Mate 10 Pro runing EMUI9.0 and it works but the app is now called -4.0dip ?!?!?!?!?!?!
Any ideas how that has happened?
