Can t get past Copy from another device. - Nexus 6P General

Hello
I recently made an error and flashed the wrong version of a zip file on my rooted stock7.1 Nexus 6p.
since I was getting some system force closes I decided to wipe the phone and flash CM14.
The phone boots however in the phone setup screen I can not get past the "Copy from another Android device" screen.
What should I be doing to continue the setup?
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the answer.
I was about to try that and rebooted once again (like the 4 or 5th time) and for some reason this time it passed thru the initial setup without a hitch.

[Q] Todays G Harmony ROM update killed WiFi

I just flashed to the newest G Harmony and GAPPS, but now my WiFi only shows "error" I did get an error as follows when installing in CWM:
E: Can't symlink /system/bin/sh
E:Failure ar line 3:
symlink ash SYSTEM:bin/sh
Installation aborted.
But when I rebooted every thing was more than fine, it was quick and smooooooth. But my wifi won't come on, and it keeps telling me it is safe to remove my SD Card. Do I need to flash a kernel, am I missing a thread somewhere? I've flashed my D1 enough times it screams when I try to enter recovery, and never had an error like this.
Thanks in advance,
Jason
I would try any number of kernals out there starting with some from pershoot or clemsym (sp). I always wipe delvik cache before installing a kernal, hope it helps

Thanks, the 3rd /system format did it, I think. Still having problems with a lockup when turning on USB storage (only when the external SD card is installed, though), but that's another thread.
Thanks for the help, it's nice to see support.
Hi, I'm so happy to find this forum. I've been an Android fan since I bought my G1 when it first came out. I bought my G2 the day it launched. So of course when shopping for a tablet, I had to buy Android. CompUSA sold out of G Tablets in Houston so I drove to Dallas to buy mine and I got the next to last one. I'm not a developer, I write IT documentation, so I don't normally reinstall OS stuff. But this tablet was too great a deal to pass up. I knew I'd have to get out of my comfort zone a little bit and do some installs, so I'm really thankful for this forum.
I followed the directions on the sticky thread Install ClockworkMod, a ROM, Flash Player, and the Market Fix. I can't post on that thread because I'm a noob, so I'm posting my question here.
Part One Install ClockworkMod v08 went just fine.
Part Two Install a ROM (I installed what I believe to be the latest build of Vegan) went just fine.
Part Three Install Flash and fix Android Market is where I ran into trouble. When I was installing Part One and Part Two today, I had my G2 tethering Wifi to the G Tablet. When I got to Part Three, I was on my home Wifi. Or trying to be.
For some reason, the G Tablet will not stay connected to my home Wifi now. The wireless will look for available networks, see my neighbors network, see my network, connect to my network and then immediately disconnect.
How do I get the G Tablet to stay on my home Wifi?
During the time it has taken to type this email on my laptop, a new issue has developed with the G Tablet. It won't let me "unlock" it. Just like my phone has a slider unlock bar after being "asleep". Except, when I try to touch and drag the slider bar to unlock mode, it will only slide about an inch.
I will appreciate any help or advice you can provide.
Have you tried rebooting it. It can solve some problems. Along with using "Fix Permissions" in Clockwork Recovery, and in Rom Manager.
Are you talking about the Vegan Gingerbread ROM? If so, I had the same problem. I could connect to my phone's wifi but not my home wifi. Kept doing the same loop. scanning, connecting, disconnected (about 3 times) then it would disable the tablet from connecting itself to my home wifi.
I reinstalled Vegan 5.1 and 5.1.1 Camera, wifi, and my beloved SlingPlayer Mobile all work again.

Thanks for your reply, jasonwuzthere. I have rebooted it. I'm certainly willing to try "fix permissions" in Clockwork Recovery. Can you tell me the steps?

Wait, that might be it. I installed vegan 5.1 but not vegan 5.1.1
I was going to do that one after I finished the unlock for market. I forgot all about 5.1.1 till you mentioned it. Thanks, superchaos!

I installed the 5.1.1 update and the wifi works!
I finished the step 3 market update and I have what appears to be full market but I cannot find WordPress and Evernote.

[SOLVED!] Any way to bypass HTC setup screen? Stuck on HTC logo all white.

Hello everyone!
I'm having some trouble right now, My phone was updated with the AT&T update because my phone prompted me about the update. I updated my phone and successfully updated the phone. I installed all of my backup apps from Titanium back, but when I restarted my phone after the apps were installed my phone booted up but said that NFC stopped working dailer stopped working, basically everything was not working - i couldnt even do anything with the phone. What I did was I tried doing a factory reset via TWRP but it didn't work. I also cleared the Dalvik and Cache but didnt work either.
I locked my bootloader and thought I would flash the RUU for my device. everything went fine untill the RUU displayed an "unknown bootloader version". I tried downloading the RUU again but it didnt seem to work.
I installed Elegancia through ADB install went through perfectly untill I reboot into the phone the HTC screen with the white background does not go anywhere. I occasionally get a pop up that says "stopped responding would you like to stop the program". I downloaded the Mongoose custom rom for my phone, again install went fine no problems. but once again when I boot into the phone I still get stuck on the HTC white background. This time the phone has a black screen with the status bar with the icons of the battery time and an x on the signal icon then the phone restarts.
What is going on with my phone? How can I reinstall an OS and get my phone working again?
any help would be greatly appreciated!
Since you have done the update, you will have to flash the ROM of this thread, everything you need to know is in this post.

XT910 slow and unresposive when on wifi or 3g

Hi
for last 6 or 7 month whenever i connect my razr to wifi or 3g it either goes unresponsive or it will reboot few times, and then it will work but it is slow.
I have cleared cache from boot menu, and did factory reset too, but still it is doing same
i have disabled auto-synch, auto updates and forecast app too.

I would highly suggest starting over and installing CyanogenMod 11. It's a confusing process but eventually you'll get it.
Start with this video. I'm assuming you're on 4.1.2., as that's what caused my RAZR to slow down too. So don't use the tools he has in the video. Use these tools instead, but make sure that you follow the YouTube instructions and get the USB connection added properly. This method successfully preps the phone for later steps.
Then use these instructions to get the phone rooted and prepped for installation.
Razr's Edge is used to root the phone. Make sure to check if the phone is recognized by Windows by using adb devices and seeing if the phone is connected.
Razr's Edge may say it didn't install properly, like it did for me, but in my case it had successfully placed the files on the phone's internal storage.
Finally, follow the instructions to install safestrap recovery and CyanogenMod.
Let me know if I can help. I have been trying for the past couple years to get the XT910 rooted and install CM11 and I finally got it.

Hi thank you
mine is actually 4.0.4 rooted version, with eunonefigretail, there was no upgrade possible for me after that version, i tried to put im version 4.1.2 but on that one i was never able to get any wifi or 3g and there was more problems so i got back to 4.0.4
I will definitely try this

Cynogenmod on Nexus 4 on a permanent loop!

Yesterday I updated a nightly build (cm-13.0-20151222-NIGHTLY-mako.zip) and unfortunately the phone began to show a series of problems (ouldn't make calls, couldn't access the contacts,...).
Reading on the internet i found many people suggesting to downgrade to a working build, so i downloaded the last one that was working on my phone (3 days earlier 12/19): the nightmare began!
After the boot, the phone (nexus 4) shows repeatedly "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" and when i click on "ok" it just pops up again and again, until it automatically reboots, and the whole thing goes on for ever.
If i don't touch the phone it reboots automatically until the batteries are completely dead.
I have tried to adb push from bootloader but the terminal (from ubuntu) hangs there without signs of life. If i open nautilus and I try to copy the new build, my ubuntu freezes, only the mouse works without any use.
Is there a way to miraculously solve this problem?

use fastboot to manually flash the stock partitions, then it will be clean stock, and you can start over.
