Hello,
I live in the UK and have bought a second hand LG F350L which appears to have some Korean part to it, most of the phone is in English but on the lock screen it shows UK Time & Korean Time, some pre installed apps are in Korean etc.
Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the Korean firmware and install a UK version? If so does anyone have a step by step guide please?

Ive got the P768e variant. I bought it on contract from Star Hub Singapore.
Could anybody guide me with the rooting? The KDZ thing is confusing me. Is it just a firmware and any would work or i need to get the Singapore specific one?

I have just purchased a LG F320K 32gb (Software Version F320K11K)
I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction if a step by step guide (I know there will be quite a few different ways) to rooting and flashing so I can change it to UK English version on three network instead of Korean olleh network?
after reading posts for hours I'm just getting more and more confused!

I'm having issues with my LG G3 D855! It was originally locked to Optus in Australia, but I have recently wanted to root it. To do this I found I had to downgrade to Android 4.4, which I did successfully using the LG Flash Tool. It worked well, but it messed up at the same time. I actually flashed the European version of 4.4 over instead of an Optus version. As someone with little experience in the field, the European/International version seemed the right one since there was no Australian versions on the site. LG wouldn't replace the firmware unless I coughed up $350, seeing as I voided the warranty. After doing further digging online I found a Telstra version of the LG G3 firmware but the phone repair shop said that flashing a Telstra version over would lock it to telstra and that I would require a Telstra sim to use the phone! At the moment my phone is functioning okay, I'm able to text, call and mobile data and wifi both work. The issue is the missing Australian apps and the many European ones that aren't mine. Also out of curiosity, has the European G3 received 5.0 yet? It didn't show up in the software updater for me. Looking for any advice I can get with this... If you have any further questions about the functionality I will reply as soon as I can.

Just wondering if anyone can help me out with removing the vodafone branding from my LG G4 H815. I don't want to root, just get rid of that horrible vodafone splash screen and bloatware.

Same here! Having trouble finding Vodafone apps so I can remove them. I am rooted and using 'Root Explorer'. Any help would be great!
Try to flash an unbranded version of the software via KDZ, that should work

I bought a Huawei Honor 5x from an Australian website (I'm currently living in NZ). When I got my phone, I noticed the box/instructions were in chinese. When I turn the phone on, it was the same thing. I tried to change the language but there were some sections like logs from update and some menus they were in chinese. I tried to change the firmware but it didnt work (probably because my model is KIW-TL00 and I downloaded a different firmware). Now, a stupid question: there is a way to change the model of the phone to be able to install a US firmware? and if it's not possible, there is a way to change the firmware to a english version?

Can you run the script that is located here and post your results
I have the same problem and question. I bought one of these and it turned out to be the Chinese version. Even after changing the Android language to english there are still many chinese messsages. Any advice how to load a different firmware, or at least change all the Huawei messages to english? Thanks.
