I just got the Alcatel pop 4plus. I like the phone but I'd like to change which "page" thingy is the home screen. I figured out how to add a third home screen page but why can't I make one to the left? I like to have my home screen be the center page... is it possible?

I work in a cell phone store and I would love to know if there is a way to stop my tablet from rotating from page one to two. I am asking this so that I only have to have non-risque stuff on the 1st page and I can customize the other home screens as I wish.
I did that in my ATT s2. However, i forgot how to. Can someone remind me this?
Right now the screen move left and right when swipping. Would like it locks in place.

Looked to me like you could hit the menu button while at the home screen, select edit, and then drag the unused pages down to Remove...

I did remove all the empty screens. However the one page screen still moving itself a bit to left or right. How to completely lock? I think only scrolling wallpaper in TW in inter Note or ATT S2 can do it. Not our Note
I hope someone can help me. After letting someone use my phone I now see a floating G and dots bar in the middle of my screen. Apparently the bar lets me know which screen I'm currently on in terms of number of screens. How can I move or remove this?
You can get rid of the "G" in Settings (probably under Home Screen), but the more direct way is:
Press and hold a vacant area of some screen. That will shrink the screen and show a bunch of installable apps.
Again, press a vacant area of the screen, and you will see all "enabled" screens (up to eight).
Drag the offending screen (the top left most) to the trash can.
Press the home button.
I think there's a way to get rid of the dots, but I'm not sure. I like them, so I've never had to research the issue.
I've always used a blank home page but with the new update, a blank home page vanishes. Even if you move all the apps manually to a new page, the blank one vanishes. Any work around this?

Not really a solution, but download the blank widget app, create a blank widget on the page, you will end up having a blank home screen. Hope this helps.

One thing that I noticed that's really driving me crazy is while m in an app, when I swipe to go to the home screen, it doesn't take me directly to my home screen, instead it shows the empty wallpaper for half a second first, then it goes to the home screen. How can I disable this and just swipe home to go directly to my home screen?

It doesn't happen on OOS latest stable with stock launcher.
I'm on the latest version using the stock launcher and it's doing it.
I don't have this issue on ob 8, didn't have on last stable either.
