Double tap for notification? Animated pixel navbars? - Nexus 6P General

So in the recent Pixel update, or preview. It has a "double tap for notification" feature. Something I've been wanting for a long ass time for my 6p.
I was wondering, if someone was either making something to enable this or already has?
Also, I've been wondering if there is a way to have the home button use the animation the pixel does each time you press it.
Thanks.

What ROM are you on? I wonder if this is just a matter of adding/adjusting a line in /system/CSC/feature.xml?

No worries. I just downloaded the stock/odex file and took a look. I don't see any values for it there. I'll do some digging.
It's there

It's there on my SM-G900T latest stock firmware BNF6. You might have to scroll down on the menu setting to see it.

Have you downloaded any camera plugins from the samsung store?
Nice, got it on mine, stock + rooted NF6 T-Mobile. I don't have anything that's added that's camera related.

Nice flag you got there! :good:
I'm still on NE6, I'll upgrade to NF6 and see if it's in there. I Just thought NF6 changed nothing except added VoLTE options.
There it is! Upgraded to NF6 and the option is there. Thank you!

It had to be something I did in the course of removing apks and modifying the stock ROM. I had an issue with MMS I was trying to figure out and dirty flashed the same ROM I'm using to replace anything mistakenly removed. The option appeared after that.

Advanced reboot

Running Android Pie and interested in an Advanced reboot option? Yes this works if you press the icon of the app and not actually pressing the power button.
REQUIRES ROOT
If you have macrodroid installed you can set this to open simply by shaking your device or any other trigger, action or constraint.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=simple.reboot.com
I have a screenshot of the macro I created so when I shake my phone only when I'm not in a call, the screen is on and the device is unlocked.

If it's not broken don't update. So far I have zero issues with 9.0. I was on 5.1.5 until Android Pie was released simply because there was nothing wrong with 5.1.5 on my device
Available in 9.0.2

Indeed.. quite the saviour.. was wondering if the dev could change Notification to Toggle Notification So one click opens notification and the second click closes it.
This is indeed the best! Clean and sophisticated.

I don't know, I really hate Windows and don't use it personally. I'll see if I can fix the setup app so it doesn't need whatever that dll is.
You can always use the manual commands, which are also on the website.

Yes, but the options you have there are very limited. The advantage of this app is that you can completely disable bixby on your phone and still remap the button to many things
Cursor control with volume rocker when keyboard is present would be cool...

Guys sorry for this posts but I am worried about connecting phone to PC to allow further remapping. Does downloading that execute file mess with anything import on our S10's? Will it void warranty? Lastly, say I uninstall this app will everything I downloaded revert back to default/stock? Sorry complete newb on this stuff. Thank you..

Read this from Flar2's reddit.
With the adb command, you are giving Button Mapper permission to read logcat, which prints a line whenever the Bixby button is pressed.
Logcat spews all kinds of info about processes on your phone. Not personal information, more like status and error messages. You can type "adb shell logcat" to see what it prints. Button Mapper filters out everything except Bixby key presses, it doesn't look at anything else."
You can turn off USB Debugging after you run the adb shell script. It is only needed to grant the logcat permission."

Thank you so much! Def puts mind at ease appreciate that.

I am going to try out both bixby apps and test em out. Why the heck not! Lol
