Yesterday I have installed the Spanish h850 Nougat kdz. Everytime I start to use my phone I have a few seconds lag, sometimes an error of a crashed app comes up but mostly after those seconds everything works fine. Anybody else experiencing the same issue?

Done it via lg backup, and seems to be resolved now. Thanks.

Cheered too early apparently, after everything was completely setup again the lag is back. So I think I need to go backwards step by step to see if I can find the culprit.

I have broken my connection with my moto360 1st gen and removed Android Wear, now it is running smooth again.

Reinstalled and activated again. Now it is still working smooth.

Nougat is smooth and polished but I noticed small delay opening some of the apps, especially tapatalk and sometimes facebook. Dialer sometimes has a small delay opening too
I installed 3 times the rom and I have the same behavior.
Not something that annoys me alot but I hope they get it fixed in the next update

Have had absolutely Zero issues running Nougat on my G5.
I can only think that anyone with performance/lag issues has not done a proper clean installation or has something going on specific to their handset.
Nougat is running perfectly smooth and fast.
For anyone encountering any issues... Please pay attention to the other G5 Nougat threads, here on XDA, relating to installation and possible issues arising from different methods of installation...
Its all there for everyone to read/access... If you just take the time and effort.. ?

I can only think you are making too many assumptions. I have read and followed these instructions precisely. And my phone has return from a warranty repair just a few weeks ago. Perhaps the lag in my case is caused by a certain app you are not using or the 1st gen Motorola I am using.
Right after installation of nougat it works perfect, but the more apps I install and settings I change the lag occurs. Lg clock and Google play services crash sometimes.

I am talking about minute delay when opening some apps and doesn't occur all the time.
Tapatalk is one app that opens with this small delay, maybe not very noticeable but I can see it.
Dialer sometimes open with this delay.
Anyway maybe it's only my observation

For mine it mostly happens after unlocking the screen. Sometime Google play services crash warning comes up.
Try to trace when the delay started to come up:
1) immediately after installing nougat
2) after installing a certain app
3) after changing a certain setting
I will try once more to brake connection to my 1st gen moto 360. This seemed to resolve my issues before. But off course i don't want to buy a new watch caused by nougat ?

I wiped the cache of Google play services, this seemed to improved as well.

Just wanted to report my exprience so far
Installed Nougat this Thursday though Bridge (Vodafone Italy), booted, made an hard reset (trough combination), the only "prolem" was the crash of play store during startup, never had other unusual crash and the battery seems a Little better to me (my usage is pretty heavy and strange).
Have done another factory reset and now did not let Google reinstall my apps but did them all manually and finally it seems to be working perfect now.
I had to return my lg phone for a new one after 7.0 data connection kept dropping barclays app would not work again after update. Not sure what happened 7.0 seems abit rough at the moment i think i will wait next time for a stable build i flashed and re flashed with lg bridge software no matter what i did hard reset same problem.

Any insight on how one might reset the pedometer? It stopped working a couple of days ago. I tried resetting the S Health data to no avail.

Xnote very good rom
Envoyé de mon SM-N910F en utilisant Tapatalk
You need to install xsecurestorage and then convert s health and health storage from a system app to a user app using titanium backup
Are you using s5 Lockscreen Xposed mod?
http://gs5.wonderhowto.com/how-to/f...hes-when-using-xposed-your-galaxy-s5-0157344/
This worked perfect for me,
Yesterday night it "count" for me 500 steps while i sit on my bad and browsing the Facebook. ..
This counter is not reall. Not even close to be reall
The reason i ask, when i used xnote with xposed and enabled s5 lockscreen widgets module, my pedomiter stopped working. Soon as i disabled and cleared shealth, worked again. Not used the mod since.
I thought at first it might be any mods for s5 through xposed that might do this. But im now using 2 others (disable fingerprint whilst connected to wifi & remove vibration in blocking mode) and havent had any further trouble with s health.
If your using a custom rom like x note, i belive you shouldnt install the xsecure.... xposed mod as it is already cooked in to the rom. It only breaks it.
Thats my 2 cents, and i have to agree, the pedomiter is not acurate. But its nice to get an idea of roughly what im doing daily. So i use it for now.
To all the folks with bigger brains than I,
Ever since I updated the phone via LG AirDrive, the stock text messaging app has been slow and crashing a lot. It's not my phone service, as Hangouts works just fine. But once I jump into the stock text messaging app, it eats it and crashes.
I searched this forum, could find nothing specific on this problem, so I submit this to you awesome people.
I've turned off haptic feedback, I've disabled Swiftkey and am using the default keyboard. No difference.
Thank you.
Try to backup via lg backup then factory reset phone and restore again.

I notice a definite lag with the stock messaging app also. But no crashes. It opens very quick, but when I tap a conversation it shows the tap instantly, but it takes about 3 seconds to open it.

Maybe try going into Settings/General/Apps/Messaging then force stop, then click on Storage, Clear cache. Reboot phone and don't touch the phone and maybe wait 15 minutes then reboot phone again and see if it's still lags or freezes.

Same thing is happening to my V10. Started 3 days ago. It starts when I reply to a message. The app crashes and when I relaunch it instantly failed the message and I have to click retry to which then it works. Super annoying though. I did the marshmallow upgrade via air Drive when it was launched also.
Textra FTW
Hey guys, OP here.
Instead of messing with the stock messaging app in Marshmallow, I downloaded and installed Textra. Has all the same functionality as the default messaging app, and unlike the default messaging app, it works flawlessly in Marshmallow on my V10. You get a week of the full program for free when you download and install it from Google Play, and I believe it's $1.99 for an ad-free experience. A great investment, IMHO.
So, TLDR; Textra works where messaging doesn't.
Good luck everyone.
Google messenger seems to work flawless as well for me (now that T-Mobile finally fixed my mms issue)
But yeah Textra is a fine alternative if needed

Hi,
My Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 are running the latest "Stock" Android Lollipop with latest SuperSu & Latest Xposed, I have 20~ odd modules and the same apps that were on my devices when they were both on Marshmellow on which neither of the devices were having issues.
- My Nexus 4 randomly turns off and randomly reboots.
- My Nexus 10 randomly freezes, but only the touchscreen. The actual applications still work fine in the background because if a program is running on screen like a youtube video for example, it will still continue to play.
As far as I can see there is no pattern to the issues, how can I correctly see the necessary logs to try and find out what is causing the issues?
Thanks
I experience this problem always. As far as I can see the only issue is xposed try to uninstall xposed and clear davrik and see the results

This was posted in another thread, you can download and update manually

I tested it and it does add the pull down function. It doesn't actually say that it supports the Note 8 but I haven't found any problems yet.

Just installed it and it seems to work.
I have the US998 on 20H, unlocked with TWRP, rooted with Magisk 19.1. Whenever the TWRP flashable version of 20H was released, I upgraded from 20G. For some reason my games are now lagging, where the screen will pause for half a second then resume animations. I've tried game mode which will lower the frame rate and resolution but it's not a solution. This happens in other apps too, but is especially noticeable (and annoying) in games.
As best I can tell, this started a few weeks ago, but I can't link it to anything specific. In the recent past I've gone to 20H, I believe Magisk was incremented, and the games have updated as well. Is there a graphics setting that may cause the half second bloop? I'm ready to wipe and restore, if I thought there was a chance it might fix it.
Nobody experienced this? Is this a general android question rather than specific to this phone?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-nfs-injectorv1-t3857231
You could try this magisk module. I would look into recently installed apps running in the background. For instance, I have the Neutron app installed and sometimes I can see it scanning for new media in notifications. What'sapp location icon occasionallly appears in the status bar for a split second even though I haven't used its location service in days. I won't turn either of them off since I use them both but I'm sure Neutron slows my phone down.

I didn't get around to wiping. At this point, whatever updates one of my games had last week seemed to eliminate it from that game (PaD). I also uninstalled some old games that I didn't realize weren't working anymore. I don't think I'm in dire need of a wipe at this point.
