Okay, So i have a real issue here. So i flashed the CM14.1 and i have 2 sims- Vodafone and Jio, but alot of the times, both the Sims loose their networks. I have selected GDM for Voda and LTE for Jio so that jio internet works. But i am constantly losing network. even between calls or whenever i cut a call, the networks from BOTH the sims disappear. Any particular solution to it?
P.S THIS PROBLEM ISNT JUST FOR CM 14.1... BUT WHENEVER FLASH A NOUGAT BASED ROM I.E 7.0 OR 7.1, EVERYHING WORKS BUT NETWORK DROPS OCCUR SO FREQUENTY.

None has found it yet bro. It's the same with all nougat based Roms for our Phone. It's specific for our Phone only since other nougat based phones work well with hike. Maybe a bug in our device source. Will be cleared in OnePlus releases official Nougat.

In case of operator "Jio 4G".

i am very well aware of Jio join app.. but people on xda should not give easy faulty answers ... hw is supported so look for a patch that make us to use default dialer... which is much more comfortable than anything... thanks

Before commenting do some research to avoid easy faulty answers.
Other than OnePlus no one can release software update for VoLTE. After update it can be implemented on other roms.
You can not just dial code and use the features if they are not implemented by the company.
im using cm13 unofficial kenzo rom
theres no option to enable volte so tried installing jiojoin app. Data works fine with jio sim but when i launch jiojoin app it gives me error "you are not allowed to use the app on this device "
plus only sim 1 works on my phone. Sim 2 slot detects sim but fails to show network:crying:

Jiojoin will not work with the phones which the app thinks is/or are Volte supported phone. So to answer ur question u can use data only but no calls on any ROM. Use stock if u want to use both data and calls.

ha ha... You are right. This is India specific question and hence confusing as details are missing,
Reliance Jio is upcoming 4G LTE Network which will provide HD calls over VoLTE. Redmi Note 3 is VoLTE enabled with same working only with MIUI and hence so many questions especially from those using Custom ROMs.

My problem is different and exactly opposite
I can only use jio join app to make call or receive call while using miui dialer i get call ended as soon as i make a call, i can only make or receive calls while using jio join app and that too with data on as soon as i turn off the data or close the app the people calling my jio number is shown switched off, i have inserted the jio sim in sim 2 slot of my rn3 sd and i am using latest stable global rom of miui, any solutions guys??
Moreover, i have enabled volte, does it only works in sim 1 or is their something else causing the problem? i couldn't figure it out so please help,

It's a new carrier which is yet to launch its services commercially. Until then its offering unlimited data, HD voice and live TV for free. But the thing is it is only LTE. No fallback to 3g or 2g during calls. That's why people ask about VoLTE all the time. They have an app called Jio Join to make enable non VoLTE phones to make phone calls, but for some its not working

Then file the complaints to Jio to fix update & fix their app to support Marshmallow API (CM-13.0 is Marshmallow, while MIUI is Lollipop, Kenzo), it's quadrillion times better than spamming the forum with Jio (#1411 mentions of Jio)...

Yes free data, HD voice, HD video calls, Jio apps, everything works.
To get hold of a sim, you can follow the YouTube videos. Make Sure to download the older version of myjio

Yes it won't work and reasons are already shared. If you want VoLTE move to stock MIUI8 and it will work.

Yes, have got it...you need to get this activated using Samsung / LYF phones.
I have volte issues from many days.when I use Jio sim in roaming voice breaks every time calls quality is not good.i tried different roms but couldn't find a solution for volte. Please help me to fix this issue.

Volte isn't much stable in android 8.1, but liquid remix says it works. Other than that nougat roms work fine.

I have pretty good network coverage on both networks(i.e. Jio & Bsnl).
I'm on Bootleggers rom 8.1 latest build for Kenzo device.
I use Jio as my primary data sim with LTE network, and bsnl as my primary sim for calls.
Maybe this configuration is issue or the rom itself idk.
Any help would be appreciated.

okay here's what i had done, firstly i have flashed latest 8.7.3's firmware & modem files(thought it might resolve my bad network reception nd sometimes network loss issue), but to my bad it make it more worse.
I lost my volte ?
Then, after some searching I flashed full global rom of miui 10, but it was also not able to get my volte back, nd even get my imei erased ?
So, after all this I flashed my full backup of stock rom. which gave me back my mobile's imei & volte back.
Then, I flased cardinal rom this time, i didn't faced network drop this time, but BSNL's reception were low as before only.
And after some searching, I went through this post

& gave it a shot. IDK of others but it improved my both network's reception ?.

No, I was not having issues with miui global rom, and now I figured out why
Firstly, all the issues were caused because of the sim configuration settings only, coz previously when I was on miui rom I was using Jio as my primary sim for all the things (i.e. calls, net, and msg)
But, now I was using BSNL for call, & rest Jio
So, the solution came out that when volte is enabled in a mobile, then the same sim card should be used for calling on which volte is enabled.
I mean, as I was using BSNL and Jio sim cards, I was also enabling volte in my network settings for Jio, which enables volte for both sim cards.
And VoLTE = Voice over LTE, but BSNL doesn't have a LTE network available.
So, that was causing the issues in connecting calls.
So, the solution was simple :laugh:
Disabled volte(or Enhanced LTE).
Now, all things are working good calls, data, msg :highfive:

when i make a call it just give me a BEEP sound and my callers are getting unable to reach right now message
is it my phone or international phones are not working in india?

done it. updated it 2 times and no VOLTE. have you purchased it from amazon.com?

Go to settings then connection . Then mobile network. Then advance. Then enable volte .. see if you gget the option

i have already done that and restarted my mobile. i can receive sms but cant send them, i cant receive calls and i cant make any outgoing calls. But i can access 4G mobile data. so weird
my guess is US versions are blocked VOLTE by default. did you by from flipkart? can you post your build version?

by pressing *#*#4636#*#* i got the setting but its already enabled. my guess is US mobiles are blocked by asus rog
ok, the only solution for this is to move from jio to airtel for international asus rog mobiles. indian version work fine with jio
