App TwinIn the nougat update for the Honor 8, a new app called App Twin shows up in the settings. Right now the only apps listed as compatible are WhatsApp and Facebook. I setup the facebook with two different accounts and it works well.
When you activate twin app, a second shortcut for that app will show up on your homescreen. Hopefully when the official version of nougat comes out, more apps will be compatible. For now, here are some screenshots for you.

I did see that yesterday and wondered what it was.
I'm very impressed with this new ROM (beta test) it has so much extra and has really changed the phone.
My flat mate has the new pixel and after this new update our honor 8 is running better and looking better than the pixel.
We made a real good choice with this phone.

Yes mate it's a wonderful phone.
I'm using the themes and fonts that are available.
I'm not feeling the need to root and use custom ROMs.
The fact that we will keep getting updated for 2 years is a real winner.
I love this phone !!

I enabled the twin app and set whatapp for continue to work after Lodi screening. but after lock screen the second whatapp notification work only if i open it.
Anyone with some Iside?
Can anyone who tried whatsapp in twin mode tell me, whether both instances of whatsapp use all the phones contacts?

I've quite the same problem.
If i use the twin app of WhatsApp notifications don't arrive in time, neither of original account nor of cloned one. All accumulated notifications arrive just when i open the app.
Does anyone have same issue?
Is there any fix of this?

Hello guys as i stay in hostel and have to share the room with my room mate who is a douche .
I need an application which will pop up a message that android process or the app has force closed when he try to open any game on my phone .
From last few days he is constantly using my phone and playing games . Which is really creating problem for me . Hiding the app or applying a security code wont help . As he will constantly start to bug me for the pass code . That is why I need an app which will show a fake message of the app has stopped or something like that .so that he wont be bugging me then .

You can just hide the apps instead? There's an app for that too (root is required for hiding)
Do you have Titanium Backup? It offers to freeze apps. If you do this they won't be shown in the launcher any more, until you unlock them again.

I know Hide it Pro (Audio Manager) does hide apps. It's free of charge
Even though hide it pro warns about hiding files, i used it and it turned out okay. this was only in my phone

I found suspicious in the Newer version of Lenovo SuperCamera I post previously due to the permission request.

I'm on alpha I've never had the new UI and was wondering if it was a location based feature as I can't understand why some people have it and some not

I'm the UK and have the old version on a Nexus 5 I wonder if it is server server and is country restricted
It is server side, and it would not surprise me if it was only for US users.
Even if I send you the .APK I'm using with the new layout, I believe it will still load the old layout on your phone.

Yea I have reverted back to beta and it made no difference at all I may play with market enabler and spoof my location to see if that helps

Same thing happened with Facebook's new website UI, rolled out last February (?). Very few people got the updated look, and when you go to facebook.com/about/newsfeed to get the new UI (as most websites prescribe), you get nothing.

Well,
Some people in The Netherlands, just like me, are also using a new UI. I can confirm that my friends do have the Samsung Galaxy S4/ and mini. They both have the new UI. Also a friend with the Sony Xperia Play running Gingerbread has the NEW UI too.
I'm using the Samsung Galaxy Ace with Android 4.4.2 and having the old UI

Conventional applock softwares use polling to detect current running process, which drains your battery and slowers your device. This is why I have created MinMinLock. With the help of Xposed framework, MinMinLock uses an event-driven method to detect app launch and lock it, which results in better performance.
For now this is just a prototype. I will make further improvement and new features in the future.

Locked apps can not be launched until there are unlocked. Because I don't want others know the apps are being locked. I will add the option for locked apps to be launched by entering the password in the future.
I don't know why it make rare restart for you. I didn't encounter this problem Orz.

I'm assuming he means, when whatsapp will incorporate Android Wear into their app, yes you will get the notifications from whatsapp, but when you swipe to the left, you wont be able to do anything with it other than open on phone,
I think he is looking for when Whatsapp will add the ability to reply to a message, like IE Hangouts you can reply on the watch to a hangouts message.

It will take Whatsapp developers to enable functionality into their app to allow for Wear, this is the same as ie Facebook Messenger, it will need to be updated to reply on Wear
i do also see my whatsupp messages on watch, but thats it. its pretty nice though, if you receive just an info or smth. like "ill be late.." or smth..

This is easy. Download the file 4 posts up an install it on the phone. Then you can answer via lg watch by swipe up the notification to see it on the whole watch screen. Then swipe left and press reply...

Don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but all I get is open on phone. Sorry I didn't notice someone had posted it already, Saw the thread yesterday and there was nothing.
If you installed the linked apk and there is no reply function, I would recommend to restart the watch and the phone. If it's then still not possible to reply. I would go to Android Wear App on the phone and resync phone apps (that's an option under settings of your paired watch)
