S6 Edge+ won't go to deep sleep after sim unlock - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I have a S6 Edge+ that worked perfectly until I had the sim unlocked by a GSM store. (T-mobile refused to do it because I have a year left of the contract)
Ever since then the battery drains super fast, no matter what I do.
I don't think the phone is rooted, though not sure what they did to it exactly. The guy didn't look like he knew exactly what he was doing, got my phone on FRP lock first, and I was the one who actually helped him solve that issue too.
Anyway, I saw a thread around no deep sleep here, but it's over a year old, and seems to be for custom ROMs or rooted phones.
Any suggestions? :crying:
Thanks in advance!

Someone help please!
I already tried a factory reset but that didn't help either.
I'm desperate.
Thank you,

[Q]Trying to unlock my Galaxy S III

I have a Galaxy S III SGH-i747 running Android 4.1.2 with AT&T, I have already rooted it using Chainfire's method but it is still network locked with AT&T. I've tried getting a code out of AT&T but I don't fulfill the requirement of using the device with them for at least 6 months. Since I've rooted it, is there an easier way to get the phone unlocked?
If I posted this in the wrong place, I am sincerely sorry. I've been dealing with the issue of breaking the shackle off my phone that is AT&T for several weeks, needless to say I am irritated and would deeply appreciate any help I could get.
Found this..

Hope this helps
Ah yes, I've tried that. I read that it doesn't work on v4.1.2. I get to the SHA256 OFF part but NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ never shows up when I go back.

[Q] Sim Network Unlock

Hello as this is my first problem with a phone/phone company, I'm confused. I am a long time T-Mobile customer. But my son gave me an upgrade phone cause I am apparently severely outdated. However it is an AT&T phone. A Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-i777. He moved and now goes with Verizon. So I put the phone in my name by buying a $10 prepaid deal. However its now been over a year & 8 requests and AT&T continues to deny me the unlock code. The phone was never under a contract , it was purchased outright and was a gift a few years back from his father. Now my ancient phone ha taken a crap and I cant afford to buy another one. I have looked into several sites and became a member here thinking I was more edumacted :cyclops: then I am. I just really want to unlock the damn thing. Please help......This is what Ive done thus far.
1.) Updated to 4.1.2
2.) Downloaded and Installed Framaroot getting the SuperSU
3.) Downloaded CSC Select & SGS unlock tool.
Still no unlock code. Maybe I messed up already ..... idk? 2 months ago I was laid off, my savings is damn near completely dry and I need help.( In more ways then 1....bahaha)!! I would like to remove anything & everything regarding AT&T from this device and run Google or WHATEVER. Is that possible?? I Thank You ahead for any time, advice and help anyone can give. Happy holidays and Namast'e :good:
Unlocking is the easy part:
a) Get the relevant information from your son, and use this AT&T website.
OR
b) I used Galaxsim unlock, and have used my i777 on other carriers (not t-mobile), and overseas.
Using the i777 on TMobile? I'm not sure that will work very well.
-The i777 GSM frequencies [850, 900, 1800, 1900] will not communicate beyond 2g on t-mobile network.
EDIT: Apparently T-mobile has refarmed a lot of its 3g+ services to the 1900 frequency, which will allow the i777 to communicate at full speed on t-mobile service. *assuming the relevant refarming happened in your area.
You want to use a de-branded, slimmed down version of the firmware? No problem.
If you like the touchwiz interface, look at cooked or shostock.
If you would like to run an AOSP flavored firmware, then there are several excellent choices in the development forum.
Happy flashing,
-Cyril

[Q] “Unauthorized actions have been detected. error

Hey guys, I've bought the s6 edge 2 days ago, Im getting this error notification: “Unauthorized actions have been detected. Restart your phone to undo any unauthorized changes.”
how do i get rid of that pop up message? I've tried both soft and hard factory reset, even went to the extent to reflash the phone at the samsung store, even they dont know whats going on.
i also factory reset the phone leaving it with factory apps, ( i did not install any app) just to see if it would show the same error message, which it did again every 5 mins
how do i fix this problem? I've searched online, its like a common problem and it happened before with other guys s4 and s5,
thanks!
s6 edge unauthorised actions have been detected
hi i have this problem as well on a brand new edge, i havnt done anything to alter phone, tryed factory resets and installing no apps etc and this message keeps coming up in the notification bar, i have spoke to everyone supplier (tesco mobile) manufacturer (Samsung) and security software developers knox and no one will give me any help other than handsets ganna have to go back, which is ganna break my heart installing all apps and spending hours setting phone up, i believe that probably all s6 edge phones have this problem and we need an update to security policy or software anyhow, if someone can help or find out anything let me no please, im not interested in rooting phone and potentially voiding waranty.
Unauthorised action
Hi, I am having exactly the same issue with my brand new s6 edge from within the first hour I had it. It's driving me nuts, can't find anything on the Internet on solutions just that the issue has been around before in the s5. Weirdly my wife got an s6 edge same day as me and doesn't have the problem at all, she didn't activate the knox app. I got a white one and my wife a gold one, not sure if there's anything in that but worth an ask. Come on Samsung sort it out.
mines a uk white too, im trying to hold out a couple of weeks before sending it back as im going away, i just hope an update comes through, cause i dont want the hassle of sending it back.
ok , Mine is happening on the white one is it same as for all of you? ,
My white one 64gb have the same problem!
Is this only a issue by white one?
well its looking that way but i cant believe that the different colours were flashed with software any different, update us samsung please.
Seems related with preinstalled knox.... but maybe not.
I have the same issue. I couldn't find a solution unless to send the phone back or root it.
Is there any diagnostic tool to identify the application triggering this issue?
well got excited this morning got a Samsung software update, but guess what unauthorised actions have been detected still came up i think a security policy update is what we need, im ganna try and message Samsung again.
I have the same problem. It seems there are many phones affected. The Samsung Hotline say: We know it, but we have no solution. Please exchange you phone at your dealer.
I have both the T-Mobile S6 Edge 128GB white and G925I 128gb white I just received this morning. I have this issue within an hour having the G925I but never had any issue with the T-Mobile version since I got that one last week. It's super annoying.
Seems like its an issue to some of us, but not to everyone or else this thread would be flooded
I have the same issue with my s6 edge in white. It's SO annoying ?
does anybody have this same problem in black s6 edge or gold?

Same problem here S6 Edge Black... Would love to have an update / fix for this other than rooting the phone and taking it back...
I had the same problem. Spent hours trying to fix it and spoke to Samsung on the phone for quite some time. Apparently there is no fix and I was told to return the phone. I have a new one coming in the mail today and am crossing my fingers that it does not have the same problem.
be really interested leanne to know if your new phone is ok?
So far it seems that this one is fine. I updated to the most recent software, cleared cache and am using smart switch to reinstall all my stuff. It's been going for about 45 minutes and no security issues as of yet.

New battery reset sim lock and now it wont unlock please help!

Hey guys I cant not find an answer to my dilemma anywhere on the blessed internet, maybe I'm asking wrong I don't know... Yesterday I bought a battery for my S3 and even though I asked for an original samsung battery I THINK I got duped. I put in the new battery in my phone, had half a charge and went home so I could drain it and give it a full charge... A few hours later I noticed I had no signal whatsoever but I just turned it off and let it charge. I wake up this morning turn the phone on and I am greeted by insert network unlock pin or whatever... I immediately downloaded sim unlock apps, none of them did the trick. Then I remembered I got the code when I originally got the phone from the company it was locked to, they just give it to you on their website if you provide the IEME. Code didnt work... Then I got GalaxSim Unlock, the xda version, and it tells me I AM unlocked... What is going on??? How can a new battery do this to me???? What are my options? I almost went and bout a $50 S3 that the tactile display doesnt work and planned on swapping it with my current screen idk...

Samsung galaxy mega 2, Kingroot, and my imei changing

I just recently rooted my phone sm-g750a so i could remove a lot of the programs i never use mainly. After doing this it worked fine at first but I remember doing a system update one night a week later and when i woke up my phone was banned from my network. The imei no longer matches the one printed under the battery. What is going on did i buy a stolen/lost blacklisted phone or was it the rooting that caused my imei to change?
Thanks for any help here,
One more thing
I think it's possible to change an IMEI from what all ive read on here so all I really need to do is change mine back to the one on the sticker under the battery. If anyone could help me get to engineer mode or even just walk me through how to change it i would be eternally grateful.
Thank you so much to all the helpful people out there, Usually i'm one of you too but right now I must ask for your help.
Thx
