Hello everyone, i bought a lot of 30 Qilive Q.4688 phones from a Spanish foreign seller in the weekly market in order to make some profits of them because this is the only way i make my living but i didn't have the time to check each one of them so i randomly picked 6 of them and check them and they were fine but after i went home and checked each i found that 11 unites have a bootloop issues and they needs a firmware and this is a big strike to my small seed money i have so i looked everywhere in the net for a firmware but i never find one after that i decided to contact Qilive them selves in their FB page and they replied to me but their answer was (sorry we don't provide Firmwares for our phones you need to take them to the nearest customer service) well i believe they don't know yet that Spain and Morocco are totally different countries  so i tried to get a custom recovery, this way i could take a backup from a working Qilive and install it into the non working ones and again there is no CWM or TWRP for this model but somewhere i heard about CWM builder and what i did was that i rooted my phone and used a partition backup App to save Stock recovery and then i uploaded it to the CW builder but unfortunately the CWM builder gives me just ( Cannot build ), again i tried to backup the Rom using the Simple ADB backup but again this phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 based phone and has only fastboot 1 and fastboot 2 modes. so now i will shorten my problem like this
NO firmware available
NO custom Recovery available
NO adb Mode backup available
So if anyone can give me a working firmware with flashing tool or just can make me a working TWRP or CWM recovery i will donate him 20$ in his paypal and i will be grateful

Flash a new recovery of your choice using Odin http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/guide-odin-flash-guide-t1671969 follow the instructions given at the end of first post in the thread linked or if you're rooted then you can use TWRP Manager from the play store to install TWRP recovery

ahh thanks i am looking at just putting a standard rom back on the mobile and then use a new rom as the one that was on the phone would turn the phone off and keep flashing the galaxy s3 logo on the screen as if it was stuck in a loop of some sort, also it says get pit for mapping, however i have a pit file there but still says get pit for mapping and cant find it anywhere its really annoying me as its a business phone lol so kind of need it fixed
Stop. You are going to destroy your phone by flashing things you don't understand. Flashing a pit is a last resort after a soft brick. Get your friend to fix it for you.

Follow the guide in general forum on flashing back to stock firmware, download the latest one for your country at sammobile. If it doesn't work then take it to a repair centre.

Hello,
As the title suggests, I'm looking for a way to completely backup my stock device without root.
This would include firmware and stock recoveries, basically system files - as I'm not really too terribly worried with saving personal data.
I've searched through various threads but I think I'm in one of those "in-over-my-head" situations, so let me explain why I haven't just flashed a custom recovery and made a nandroid backup.
My device is the C-Spire Note 5, SM-N920R7, running 5.1.1 - recognized by Smart Switch with no updates available.
I received this device in the mail today - because I somehow managed to brick my old device with the "custom binary blocked" FRP.
There is no stock firmware available for download to flash in Odin, and it was impossible to boot the device in regular or recovery mode, leaving me with Download mode.
In order to root my old device, I had to unlock the OEM in Developer Settings and flash the "Beastmode" kernel via Odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...rnel-beastmode-modified-stock-1-0-sm-t3196174
Then, I flashed a TWRP recovery and used it to install SuperSU - and voila! I had rooted my device.
Fast forward a few months... My battery died one day and it somehow triggered the FRP lock - with only Download mode available and no C-Spire stock firmware to flash.
Naturally, I want to root my device again, but first I want to create a complete backup of my device that would be flashable in Odin even with the FRP lock on.
So ladies and gentlemen, any help or advice would be appreciated.
I would of course, upload my firmware publicly so that anyone else using this device doesn't brick their phone like I did.
Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm in the same boat and want to do the same thing.

The only way I've seen involves capturing temporary files during an update through Kies or Smart Switch.
Being on C-Spire, that probably will not ever happen.
Maybe C-Spire will get it together and push out 6.0.1 OTA like the rest of the world - as well as actually providing an alternate (non-OTA) download method.
Apparently some guy on the C-Spire Dev forums paid for a ROM on a Chinese site that works with our phones - which would serve as a nice backup if he would ever upload it.
I asked him to - and apparently he contacted the admins asking for a way to upload the file to the forums.
After they responded to him, he must have never uploaded the file.
Hey guys,
I have a big problem:
a friend of mine was on vacation, lost his phone and bought a new one on the Bahamas ^^. However, when he came back home he realized that the phone was sim locked by the provider. As the title suggests the phone he bought was a Huawei Y635-L03. So we wanted to flash an unbranded official firmware, what failed because we werent able to find one in the internet. I only find two for the Y635-L02 but the phone didnt want to flash that via the Huawei update option.
I then tried to flash CM12.1 via TWRP (from this thread). But I did a major mistake and accidently wiped the /cust partition and now the phone wont boot to anything else than the TWRP recovery.
Now my question to the community: are here any other users of a Huawei Y635-L03 and if so could you:
a) create a backup of your /cust partition with TWRP and send it to me?
b) give me a link to an official firmware for the Y635-L03 plus a short tut how to install / flash that firmware without being able to boot the phone?
I really hope someone can help me with that problem, "google support" for the phone lacks real helpfulness

hi. i have a samsung galaxy a5 2016 (sm-a510f) and it seems that ive been put in a bootloop, it all started with me installing the wrong boot.img file. now i get a message that says "kernel is not seandriod enforcing" i dont know what it means, but im trying to install the stock firmware leaving the recovery. i need help to download the right firmware and i need it asap. i cant use sammobile etc as i need a free file asap. if someone could give it to me using mediafire or mega and i owe you one. i need it follow these rules with these codes. country "xb" or "cp" choosing xb in first hand, network carrier should be "ck" and and year is the same as "p" oe 2016, r would work to depending on what this does, if its when device was published, then its p. update, r.
language code should be xb or cp, choosing xb. provider code should be something featuring swedish, sweden and last is bsn.
if none of that made sense to you, i want a swedish firmware with mobile carrier to be tele2 sweden. i need help as quick as possible, i have access to a pc with odin, a phone that has access to custom recovery (twrp) and download mode. im 15 and know a decent amount of tech

are you sure?
Are you sure? It's at a stage where the only electronic store is the internet, because I installed a custom recovery, And installed a boot.img that wasn't official and my device has been rooted, I have no warranty, and fixing a problem like this isn't cheap if you should consider the 8 hour downloads... that's why I asked for a MediaFire link, because an electronic store pays money to get the highpeed download. Its will cost me money to do something I could do for free at home because there's always a way of recovery, if you don't delete your firmware, and can't access download mode. Also im unsure because your on iPhone, and no offense but sound Indian, and Indian people and technology = scam or damage. Are you sure all I need a official rom with the right numbers (sm-a510f). I can use the Finland one I started downloading before realizing the damage it could do. Its the first time recovery can't fix it because I forgot to hit backup before installing, I know I could have watched videos on YouTube, almost forgot XDA's existence. Then I got reminded that I turned here when my tablet got into a weird bootloop. I had to downgrade with stock recovery. No access to PC. I was lucky to have a rooted phone and a OTG cable usb-c to usb-a. Without those, I couldn't be writing *This* particular post. But please, I really want to make sure nothing goes wrong. Or a risk of a hardbrick

No need, I was able to fix it, I just forgot to say, thanks again for standing up, you could say that this is Case/Closed
Hey everyone,
So! I bought a Sony Xperia 1 (J8110-2019) phone from someone on Facebook Marketplace at a very solid price of £250 (RRP is still £850 in the UK) due to the seller describing it as 'in retail demo mode' so they lowered the price. I jumped the gun thinking I was getting a solid deal and just stupidly assumed it to be a feature I could just disable with *#*#73556673*#*#- me believing I was some insane developer with mad coding skills where in realityI had once flashed and rooted my Xperia XZ back in 2016. [Insert 'Hackerman' meme]
Yes... I am fully aware I'm a complete idiot for not doing a full assessment on the phone and am now having to learn a very important lesson from this situation!!
It seems to have a Store Front firmware installed and unsure what firmware to download and flash? I've tried some of the official stock ROMs from XperiFirm and it just continues to boot into constant 10-second cycles of demo videos making general functionality like phone calls pretty much impossible. without interruption. I've tried Customized and UK Service Provider Firmware such as EE and O2 but it always goes back into Store mode.
I was hoping if anyone would have or could elaborate on how to make an executable system flash zip for a 2019 Xperia 1? When I extract files from XperiaFirm ROMS (FTF,ZIP,SIN etc), I don't seem to get any META-INF files and thus cant make the proper .zip that TWRP needs to successfully flash a new repacked stock ROM? It always ends in a boot loop."
Here are some key points to hopefully give you some background:
I've installed TWRP successfully and have attempted to use 3 official firmware to flash whilst in recovery but have been unsuccessful each time with 'Invalid .ZIP format'. I've only a few times got booted whilst bundling together FTF files via Flashtool and doing it that way round but only ever seems to solve half the problem
I can't use the SinExtract feature in Flashtools as the SIN file errors as not being supported yet to use different file versions.
I can't use PRFCreator as it errors as the FTF file being unsupported (Due to it being new I assume)
I attempted to create my own META-INF>Updater-script but am unable to identify what partition my phone would use for mounting on "/dev/block". I only ever seem to get MANIFEST.MF from the files and nothing else. On my XZ I think I used something like:
(package_extract_file("boot.img", "/dev/block/mmcblk0");
package_extract_file("system.sin","/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/system");

I have been able to install Magisk for rooting and verified.
I have used Minimal ADB and Fastboot to install programs like TWRP, SuperSu, Magisk but have never attempted, nor would I even know how to wipe my phone completely and install a clean stock ROM - is this possible?
All drivers, software, and systems are correct and up to date (as far as I am aware)
Would installing the' Service Exchange Firmware' be recommended (if I ever make it that far!) due to it being StoreFront?
I checked the IMEI number to see if it was blacklisted/blocked and it's all good. Not lost or stolen.
Thank you for your time to read and wallow in my woes with me my lovelies! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated you magnificent beasts! x
Bump x
