I always liked your themes for the G series.. Yours and my man @Kickoff.. I really would love to see this theme but with the newer mint green color lg is now using..

dude I love your blue theme! bought it. one suggestion please: can you change the touch sounds and lock sounds to the ones that everyone else is using? they're the ones that the other LG themes use.. not the stock one, but the dark ones. that like "plunk" sound instead of the tick for touch? if you could add that, this would be perfect 5 Star rating from me.

Went and purchased your blue/black theme...not sure if it is an issue with mine, but the weather widget is black instead of being transparent like shown.

That doesn't look too dissimilar from the 4.4 LG G3, the only noticeable thing I can make out that has changed are the notifications & the statusbar icons.

They aren't going to make a dramatic change, even the 5.0 version of Touch wiz isn't much different. I just hope the G2 will receive a newer UI...

I think the development is already in very much preliminary stage, things might Change upon final release, that's just my personal assumption though...
Lg G3 series, HTC Sense etc. Ui is already evolved to flat design over time, so migrating to android L's material Design won't be tough for them IMO..

Agree! LG took so long to make a different and modern design. The new UI is so flat that material stuff will be just some refined adjustments on update. I only would like that G2 received the same treatment as G3.
The must-change: Recents design. Looks horrible on G3 ui right now. Stock L has awesome recents look.
Also wondering if they will add wireless storage to G3, weird how G2 has that feature and G3 dont..

The navbar still uses the old icons. Might not be the screenshots from Android L update. It can just be a mod to change the notification dropdown.

Not true. HTC uses custom nav bar buttons and might keep them depending on what they do for their update.
Check the G3 general board and have a read in the lollipop thread. Spoiler alert: more screens and a leaked lollipop kdz firmware for the korean G3. Interesting stuff! And yeah, LG changed the UI design of recents to make it similar to stock lollipop
Lets hope we get some new UI love too

Not possible. We will need to use a ROM base. You cant port a 5.0 ROM using a 4.4.2 ROM as base. Will have to wait till we get it. Then the porting can begin. But lets hope a port wont be needed. G3 UI on official G2 firmware = win.

EDIT: but i think that with xposed+ g3 lollipop teme we can solve the problem
EDITEDIT: yes it is possible to use the current kk kernel BUT its not just build and expect it to work...code changes are needed for the compensation...this stuff is already being worked on by a few devs...including me...wont give eta's but it is in progress

Is there a blacked out theme for the ls990 sprint joint @ghostshel was working on one in using his red material now, he had a setback with his HDD and have to start a lot from scratch, is there a black theme or dialer that is compatible thanks ahead of time

Best phone I've had in my hands.. H830.. T-mobile with no root and I could live with it but one click root now has root available.. Costs 40 bucks.. Gonna wait it out until twrp encryption is worked out..
Though this font is old enough, but still its look nice.

as i wrote, NO ROOT! Sorry, but both suggestions are unusable for me.
There are lots of dark themes for LG G5 Nougat, for non root users.
To repeat one more time - on MM , no root , no dark themes.

Can't you guys just use the high contrast mode? It's basically a dark theme.

Nope, it won't. Reversing colors and high-contrast theme are two different things.
I've been searching high and low myself. Looked for a way to enable System Tuner UI but it doesn't work. I have the Canadian variant LG-H831 and I can't root because my bootloader is locked
If I could have dark menus and notification panel for 6.0.1, that would be ideal

I upgraded to Nougat. Best decision ever. I have themes now and I'm using Atomic UI
This terrible white menus driving me crazy too nougat has standart dark theme on its menu but i dont want to use nougat, marsmellow lgsmartworld dont have it what a ****ty **** phone i bought. its a headache.
You can upgrade to 7.0 and your launcher will support new great themes... I have the H840 for latin america (no root available) and I was able to upgrade it using a firmware downloaded from lg firmwares website (google it).
For Marshmallow, there is nothing... Believe me, i searched a lot...
