I would like to know whether CM still save more battery in Dual Sim enable vs Miui one sim enable and another sim disable. Miui could deactivate one sim in Dual Sim mode whereby CM dont have the toggle to disable one sim card.

Bloatwares
MIUI comes with apps intended to improve system performance and UX but ends up draining battery by adding tons of warlocks and background devices.
And guess what, if you remove those bloatware, there is a high chance your device won't boot.
Another reason is , on cm based Roms, highest battery consumption is screen , phone idle only like 1 percent with single sim , so I guess with dual sim only adds 2 percent to battery drain. Meanwhile on MIUI the MIUI system itself drains so much battery .

I really don't know why cyanogenmod consume battery but the stock dont do that much
Maybe it's related to activating the powersaver mode , so what is powersafer mode ?
And is there any ROOTED method to maintain battery on cyanogenmod ?
And I saw on google there is a way of installing root module to make multi window for non TouchWiz phones ? Is that really working ?
And the sensors of the mobile like smart stay is off on CM s3
Or maybe s4 and note 2. 3 s pens when installing cyanogenmod would they lose function too ?

Slimroms is based at cm11 and have enought life battery. Maybe custom rom are usualy drainer battery, but offer a lot of freatures
Send from my Galaxy S3 runing with TemasekROM
There are many comparisons already.
Now let me say. I think you know about AOSP and smoothness? Battery drains a little faster, that's true. That's becase Stock firmwares are smooth, maybe, but responsiveness is slow. I mean compared to AOSP,it's slow, that means less CPU power used, thus less battery drain. It's possible to configure AOSP to work like Stock,I mean make it as slow as Stock fw,so battery will be better.
I'm on AOSP now, too. On Stock firmware my battery usage from 100 to 20% was 4 and sometimes more hrs of screen time. On AOSP I get mostly 3.30-3.50,that's because I use custom kernel and tweaks which give more performance. I just couldn't stand that slowness and lags in some social apps on Stock firmwares (it was smooth in settings, but not in apps). AOSP is smooth everywhere and I prefer that and already got used to battery.
As for features, some are lost, some are gained.

But you know , if I didnt use powersaver mode the battery drains so quickly tho :/ on stock I mean
So what are the customizations I have to do on AOSP to give me more battery life ?

You using this rom in your dilay life? Can you tell a bit about is pros and cons?
sound quality and camera in all CM roms are bad
i like using edited stock roms and desperate rom is the best rom now i did try all roms
desperate rom also is the future of LG G2
battery life is great - camera u have two amazing cameras - too many editing - fast like wind - ui5 and ui4 interfaces - blurring effects - full screen caller photo and recording calls automatically if you want - etc.......

I'm using it as my daily rom on my main and only device.
I'm using the latest release with gapps, customized the gapps installation to remove some apps i don't use.
The battery life is a lot better than stock, it's fast (no hiccups).
I don't think the sound is bad, at least with earphones and during calls, the phone rings louder but it distorts a bit.
The camera is worse in low light, if you take photos with good light you won't notice much difference imho.
Take a look at this picture taken this monday with snap (http://i.imgur.com/yMpKMuF.jpg).
I have two issues that i don't know yet if they are related to CM13 or my account:
- Gmail labels are grey after setup. I have to change a label colour, go to all mail to fix it.
- My Android doesn't show in Android device manager.
So i recommend it.

Correct, just seems to be a cosmetic bug. Even though it says it would be charging slowly on the CM13 lock screen, it actually seems to be charging just as fast as with the stock Lollipop ROM.

Wrong. The battery life on CM13 is worse compared to stock Lollipop.
With stock Lollipop the battery drained almost nothing on standby, with CM13 the battery is draining on standby.
Also, with stock Lollipop the phone never became warm during light usage. With CM13 the phone is getting noticeably warm even during light usage.

Can you tell me which kernel support g2 f320 lolipop 5.0.1 or 6.0 MM. Thank
I am using rom NDM 2.5 , this rom i get antutu 49000, great, blissrom 6.4 have poin too. It so fast
I have one question in regards to CM13.
I used it for like a day and it's blazing fast in general use but in games like Asphalt 8 (I just use it as a "benchmark") it stutters and it seems that 3d performance is worse. I later found out that you can set the phone in performance mode which fixes stutters but then all my cores are at 100% and I don't wanna melt the phone and battery.
So is this common with you guys as well? And is there some sort of a fix? Switching to performance mode and back is kinda annoying.
CM13 also lacks video modes like 4K,60fps and 120 fps slow-mo recording.
I am using CandySix 6.0.1 + Kernel from DU

Personally I don't think so, as killing activities just to free RAM doesn't mean better battery life.
Activities that are closed, but still kept in RAM, does not use battery, and killing them only makes it so that your processor will need to reload the data needed from the device storage and that itself, uses more battery than if it were just loaded from the RAM.
I might be wrong, but that's what I've read from most places.

not much difference in battery life though.

I feel you are correct. It actually consumes more battery to reload apps into memory, than to keep them running in the background. Kenzo has ample amount of RAM, so I think it's better to let the OS use as much RAM it needs without clearing it just to display 'X' amount of free RAM is available. Android OS itself is pretty good at managing RAM. That is why it is not recommended to use task killer apps. Never understand why Mi implemented such a feature.
IDK, if turning it off may give battery or performance increase. But the thing to be noted that when you turn off MIUI optimisations, then it stops the process required for OTA. So, you won't get OTA updates, after disabling it.
below are my findings
memory optimization - low : zRAM only
memory optimization - medium : zRAM + Sawp partition
memory optimization - high : zRAM+Swap partition + ????
when the swap partition is active, medium and high mode, I got more app hangs and system prompt to send feed back.
when it is off, fewer chance to get that error messages.
my suggestion to this question is to switch off if you got high memory devices , e.g. 3 GB above.
to turn it on if you are having low memory devices,
AccuBattery works great. But it's sometimes weird because there's a little differences in AOSP based custom ROMs and huge difference between MIUI based and AOSP based ROMs. Example, I got nearly 100% on MIUI and MIUI based ROMs but I got only around 90 to 92% on AOSP based custom ROMs. I don't know what's going wrong. So I would like to know is there any other ways to know my real battery capacity? May be something more exact way to know my real battery capacity. I've got root access with Magisk and unlocked bootloader.
Sorry for my bad English. Pls let me know if there were any other ways to know my real battery capacity. Thanks.

Hi y'all .
Recently I got a Redmi Note 10 4/64 variant . I'm currently using my old phone Redmi 6A , while Redmi Note 10 just lies in desktops corner.
MIUI 12.0.1 , 5000 MAh and 33W .
I installed one game to try the performance , then cleared all the apps and went to sleep . In the morning , I saw more than %25 battery drained for almost no reason .
•I don't even use the phone
•Bootloader is unlocked
•The phone doesn't have a SIM inside , so it can't get signals would cause battery drain
•The phone doesn't have any apps installed besides stock ones . I only installed one game and two or three local shop apps.
•I always make sure nothing runs in the background(the way I use the phone)
Here is the graph
Edit : I can feel device's little heat even when posting this.
The phone call you see is made by my mom . I did let her borrow my phone one time , except that the phone doesn't have a SIM inside as I mentioned
Same here, Android system draining too much battery

Hi guys ,
As I am using the same phone and same varient(4/64) I can suggest some tips to save your battery.(working for both 4/64 & 6/128).
This measures can be applied in Redmi Note 10/ Pro / Pro Max also.
•You should turn off your Wifi / Mobile data when not in use otherwise apps like analytics play store etc. can run in the background and drain your battery.
•Uninstall the pre-installed apps which can be removed from your phone like Mi credit, Mi store etc. If possible change your keyboard to google keyboard(g board).
•Don't Software update your phone it may consume more memory and also cause to drain your battery faster than before.
•Go to setting search for Authorisation & revocation
And disable the permissions of apps like msa, MiuiDaemon, System apps updater, Get Apps, Updater.
•Then disable the following :
Disable it ↑
• Then open a folder and click on its name and disable promoted apps option.
I think I have covered everything. If anybody wants to add something just reply. I hope you find it helpful, if so please subscribe my youtube channel:
The road to great battery life doesn't require extreme restriction. Here you can see the power consumption results for my phone. I should mention that Wifi and GPS are permanently on. Synchronisation is also permanently enabled for Email, Messenger and Smart Life.
It consumes about 3% of the battery in 8 hours of standby time.
I use the Pixel Experience Plus ROM.
It is important not to use any functions that permanently (even during standby) monitor any of the sensors. Such as preventing waking up in the pocket.
I have disabled all automatic updates.

I've been tuning battery saving on smartphones since Android 2.1
Current hardware doesn't suffer as much from sustained discharge as it used to. Today, it is no longer necessary to turn off Wifi and GPS. But now it is advisable to reduce the CPU power in standby mode, because the manufacturer leaves the power at an increased frequency in the base to improve the phone's response.
